Shadow forced himself to calm down, locking away his hatred and anger as he had always done in the past. "I will try my best Nadea but I can't garentee anything. On the subject of Sakura and changign the plans... I am going to sound cold when I say that we cannot change our plans. The only advantage we have is having them face us were we can prepair for them. We don't have the numbers for a direct assault. They will be here tomorow at some point... my bet is that they will bring her here as a last resort barganing chip."
"It seems like I had to high expectations for yout Tyrn, you may retain knowladge of my people but I guess you only have stories of us. I'll give you one peice of advice. Never, leave you weapon anywere else other than by your side. A warrior is helpless without it, aparantly." Shadow said as he tried to keep his cool but it wasn't easy. It was reasons liek this that he wanted to stop ebing the general of armies, he didn't want people relying on him like this anymore. Shadow's hopes for a quiet eternity out in the middle of nowere had been shattered on many ocasions, he was ready to give up on that idea and just go back to being the soldier that he once was, not that he liked who he was back then.

"I understand Shadow...." is all Nadea said as she let go of his hand and walked over to Tyrn. "I know you love her Tyrn....people make mistakes, we will get her back." she said as she patted his and offered him an encouraging smile. "Until that time comes gentleman...i suggest that we be civil and go over our plan one more time before we all hit the sack. We have a big day in the morning and i know we're all not going to get enough sleep tonight." she said as she stepped between the two of them. "Now lets just sit down...and calm down." she said as she seated herself at the table and waited for the others to join her, lighting up a cigarette in the process.

"Yes sir." Tyrn said to him. He was obviously not on Shadows good side anymore. He felt even guiltier for losing her not just for Shadow but because it was a repeat of all the feelings and horrors that he had felt last time. He then remebered his conversation with his mother. "Oh Shadow, not sure if this means anything but i had a conversation with my dead mother about my ascension if you know anything about those." Tyrn said cautiously. "Thank you Nadea." He said to her as she patted his back. he sat down in his usual spot.

Shadow grunted and sat in his usual chair. "You want to go over the plan again, then we shall. It is simple. i will tie up the enemy forces with my regiments while the rest of you thin thier numbers to give my troops the upper hand. Please try not to anihilate all of the enemy in one area, it may seem like a good thing but if the enemy break through one line it could end horribly. I can only bring so many back before I fall from exhustion." Shadow said, sumarising the more advanced plan he had working in his head.
"Ascension? dosen't that have somethign to do with dying?" Shadow thought for a moment but had no real idea what Tyrn was talkign about. "No, I have no idea what you are gibbering about Tyrn."

Nadea sighed and curled up in the chair, plan was simple enough. She could remember that, hell a two year old could remember that. Perhaps it was a good thing that the plan was simple, Lilith knows Shadow as a strategist. She'd expect him to have an elaborate plan. Nadea took a long drag off her cigarette, filling her lungs to full capacity and then exhaling slowly. She watched the men before her with mute interest.

"My ascension does not include me dieing. I get magically lifted to another plane of power basically. My powers would be far greater than they are now. But there is some bad news that comes along with it. I will be out for a few seconds as my body and mind adapt to the changes. And. . . ." He paused, trying to figure out how to tell him the worst part. "The other night I had a dream that Sakura and I were getting surrounded by that army and we turned and looked at each other and when I looked in her eyes, it was the trigger to my ascension. I have to find my inside source of power, which was my mother, and outside source of power and Sakura happens to be it. Nadea, you know for a fact that I have to make that dream come true so that fate can happen and I will ascend. Its the only way." Tyrn finished and he looked at Shadow unsure of what to do.

"You young folk and your bloody strange ways. What happened to being brought into this world with your inherted power. Do what you will, if this must happen then let it happen. I could care less to be honest. While you mess around with 'fate' I'll just fight." he said to Tyrn. Shadow was never a beleiver in fate, he hated the word.
"Well, now that is out of the way... I have no idea what to do. I don't think I will be sleeping tonight, not at all." he said aloud to anyone who cared to listen. He leaned into the back of his chair, not knowing anything anymore. Everythign he done always seemed to back fire or just go horrbily wrong at the worst moments. he knew that this battle would be simple enough but he didn't know about the next one or the one after that he was growing so tired of all of this fighting.

Nadea was caught of guard by Tyrns' words, "Yes...you're actually right Tyrn. Unfortunately it won't be soon that you get to be with her again. Like Shadow said...they will use her as a last resort and if things don't go as planned. I hate to say it but they will kill her." she said softly as she smashed out her cigarette and summoned a servant to bring a round of blood for them. Nadea looked over and smiled at Shadow softly, "At least you have something stable in your life Shadow..." she sent him mentally. The servants brought the blood out and she poured everyone a glass, "Drink up guys..." she sighed and took a gulp of the viscous crimson liquid.

"Sorry that the world isn't how you want it Shadow. It isn't how anyone wants it anymore." Tyrn said back to him. He looked at Nadea as she spoke. "Yeah I know. Whats the plan if they decide to use her?" He asked. He was certain that Shadow wouldn't want to risk Sakura's life but he seemed a bit more revengeful than usual. He didn't know anymore, he couldn't think straight with this headache and with the amount of guilt he was feeling. he needed to meditate soon so he could clear his mind and go into the battle with a strong will.

"The world is never the way you want it to be. I learned that when my home was burnt to the ground and my wife killed. I stopped hoping for a perfect world a long time ago. I just want peice and quiet once more." he said as he thought over what to do about Sakura but nothing came to mind. "Nothing can really be done. All we can do is call thier bluff, nothing more. Well I coudl jsut drop all of my troops, transform into my other self and tear them all apart and just hope that Sakura dosn't get caught up in the frenzy."
'What would that be then Nadea? The constant supply of blood or my own stupidity.' he sent back to her through the mental link before it disapate. Shadow took a glass and drank from it even though he didn't feel like feeding.

Dave slid into the dining room and seeing that Shadow, Nadea and tyrn was talking he decided not to disturb them so he sat down and asked for some milk

Nadea closed her hand around his, "You have me..." she smiled softly and patted his hand before letting it go. She picked up her glass and drained it before picking up her cigarette and taking a drag off it.

"I could mirage Sakura out as you rip up the army. But then theres the fate thing. I think were gonna have to go through with the battle. Don't forget I can hold some of the troops, hopefully enough to let you focus more on keeping your troops up." Tyrn said as he was thinking about any way that would sound a bit better against that large force. He took a glass and drank it slowly.
