"Gwendar---there is a chance that we will not make it through this." Nebride said quietly as she stood in front of him. "I just want you to know that these past few days have been...." she trailed off with a sigh. "Wonderful."

Nebride looked at Gwendar with surprise. "What? And allow you to go off by yourself? Who will help you with your elven magic? Besides--I am high priestess! I am not afraid to die."

he knew Nebride would never stand for this.
but how else could he get her to stay?
he was trying to think of how he could convince her.
(lol i figured out a way to stall the chars untill everyone sort of meets back up.))

he noticed that it was getting dark. he had an idea.
"(sigh) i know i am not going to convince you....so we will go together...but no battle against the darkness should be done at night....we shall wait for morning." he said
When she gos to sleep.....i shall go alone....it is the only way Nebride will be safe he thought as he remembered back to his old family...his wife....his children....the heretics who killed them....never again will he allow his loved ones to die again....NEVER.

Nebride growled. Did he think she was an idiot? She knew that as soon as she went to sleep he would try to sneak off without her. She wasn't about to let that happen. "Fine---you want to be that way? Try to get out of this." She said a silent prayer and a wall went up around the village allowing nobody to enter, and nobody to leave. "I won't let someone else I love die."
Nebride smiled slightly. "Fine, till morning then." She turned and stalked upstairs.

he may have only been with Nebride for a short time...but he knew her well she was smarter then that....but he could tell a magic prayer when he heard one.
he still had a few witch hunter tricks that could get him through....hopefully.
"i shall stay here and keep watch just in case" he said to her hoping she would continue to believe she had out witted him.

Jane felt the anger between Nebride and Gwendar. She had felt the barrier go up all around them. She sighed. This was going to interesting.

"do not worry i will not go anywhere" he said lying through his teeth.

"You don't have to explain anything to me." Jane said with a shrug. "If you do leave then it's Nebride you will have to answer to her yourself. I do not think Nebride would survive it if you left her all of a sudden and then died. She has lost too much already."
Jane stood up slolwy and stretched her arms above her head. "Just think about what you're going to do and how it will affect Nebride before you make your decion. Good-night." She left Nebride's house quietly.

he thought to himself carefully.
if he died Nebride will also lose the only one she had left...he never thought about how it may affect her.
he stood up slowly and grabbed his halberd.
if one of us were to die....it would be better if he did......this village needed her....the lake could be placed under her protection.....if he died at least only one would miss him.
he snuck out of the house and made his way to the forest...trying to be quiet.
