A few moments later Ceon's apartment door burst open. In no way was Eden's entrance refined or graceful nor was it anti-climatic, it was indefinitely going to be known to Ceon that she'd come into his apartment. She walked down to the kitchen, noticing the walls along the apartment were now lined with duct tape and she giggled to herself since she'd been right about Ceon's temper tantrum down to a tee. However, as she entered the kitchen she simply took a seat and kicked her feet up onto the second chair at the table and bellowed, "Honey, I'm home!"
"See? That so doesn't work for us, none of this works. This feels wrong and it obviously is wrong, I mean ... Hunter pregnant with an anger management hundred year old lycan's kid? What more do I need to say to make this scene sound any more out of place? That I was a former blood addict? That I'm twenty?"

"Eh, it could be worse. Do you like chicken? It's the only real edible thing I have left in my fridge right now." Ceon took a match over to the two candles on the table, "It probably doesn't look like much, but it's the most I could scrape together in a few minutes."

Meredith shook her head when Ceon asked her his question. It wasn't that she didn't like chicken per se ... it was because she was a vegetarian, something that she was certain wouldn't go down well with her if she happened to become a lycan. After all wolves ate meat and she didn't like meat so she was definitely going to be a very complicated lycan if she ended up being one ... Not to mention ... Meredith sneezed into the crook of her arm. She then looked back up at Ceon as if nothing had happened and eventually explained her tale to him.
"I don't do the whole meat thing. I'm a vegetarian, hon. And Jesus, I've been hanging around here too much, I've got fur on me and now I'm sneezing, thanks a lot."

Ceon smiled and just kept cooking, "I've got a couple of ripening banannas over here if you want them to eat. I don't exactly know how the whole vegetarian rule will go over if you become a lycan, though." Ceon looked up at Meredith and rested his elbows on the counter, "Do you deliberately look for faults in people or is that just your nature?"

Eden rose from her chair and wandered over to the counter where she picked up all three bananas that were on the counter. She brought all three of them with her back to her seat and proceeded to peel the first one once she sat down. She then began eating her banana and when Ceon began asking her questions she talked to him with her mouth full.
"I used to give people the benefit of the doubt and when I found out they were double crossing me, screwing me over, cheating on me, planning to kill me, whatever, I decided to stop. Enough is enough. This is a recent adjustment, I used to be ... I dunno, fun and nice. Not a b***h but yeah, I deliberately look for faults because I didn't before and I figure maybe if I keep an eye out for warning signs and keep myself at a good distance that it won't hurt if people screw me over or they won't be able to in the first place."
"Anyhow ... I'm outta here. I've gotta run. You probably have a good enough nose to find me and if not I hope you know how to use a phone because you have my number. Check you later."
Eden rose from her seat, taking the two remaining bananas with her as she walked out the door and away from Ceon's apartment. She really didn't see much point in staying since they couldn't maintain a conversation without yelling at one another and she needed to have a real supper.

Ceon sat down on his bed, looking at the pictures of his old families. He smiled as he remembered holding Gabriel in his arms for the first time. He and Layna were both happy together. It was all fine until Daiguren killed him. Ceon's smile faded as he recounted the times that Layna left, and this time she was gone for good. Now the woman he had knocked can't even stand being around him. (exit)

Ceon wobbled into his room, the drug hitting him hard. He was in his human form now, and slumped against the couch where he had conceived two children. He felt a mixture of fury and disgrace right now, and he had dug himself into a really deep whole, in which there were two ways out: work with the demons, or beg for forgiveness from Jaden.

There were only a few options in this situation. Knock and hope that things would be good, pick the lock stealthily, break in. Ceons current behavior made it seem that he wasn't going to let in his current opponent, and Jaden was never good at picking locks. So that left him only the one option. Jaden slammed his fist squarely into the door, blowing it out of it's frame very neatly with minimal damage to the actual structure aside from sending it into the apartment. "Okay!" he barked, planting his bare feet on the fallen door and pulling off his black coat to reveal his heavily battle scarred body and swishing black tail. "We are talking and then I will put you down!" His furry wolf ears twitched as his red gaze feel upon Ceon in his less than ready state and his clawed hands uncoiled themselves. "Or we can wait until you're feeling better... and I'll pay for the door."

Ceon looked up at Jaden, his eyes uncaring and solemn. The tranquilizer made his vision foggy and gave his eyes a greyish haze. "Jaden...do you honestly think I care about the damn door? It's been broken at least ten times since I moved in here. And you're not putting anyone down: if anything the demons will get you and that corrupted monstrosity inside you. As for me, I've already died and if I die again I'll be welcomed into hell with open arms. I need not fear death nor you."

"Then I won't pay for the door." Jaden stated as if that had been his true intention all along. Stepping off of the broken door he walked over into the corner of the room and placed his back against the wall, watching the Lycan that had fallen even furthur than himself. It was unclear if it was disgust or pity reflected within his red eyes. "You assume too much though." he muttered. "It will get you in trouble."

Ceon grinned and chuckled, "Trouble...that's all I seem to be good for getting nowadays. That's all I had with Layna, that's all I had with the races, and that's all I had with Eden. You think I'd be used to trouble by now."

"For someone that has trouble you sure to seem to cause a lot of it." Jaden muttered, looking at the claws that never shrank from his hands. "It's a headache for people placed in charge... and yet they think you will learn from your mistakes." A swish of his tail and Jaden crouched down to the floor, looking at the other male with an almost disinterest. "And you don't go to Hell if I kill you. You don't get to go the Heaven either. You get to stay with me, locked behind the black door. It's not pleasant." He leaned in and screwtinized Ceon closely. "I'm really not sure you understand the world anymore. Being dead must have rattled your brain."

"Jaden, you've never been to hell. I died once and I went there, who'se to say I'm not going back there when I die? Besides, you don't even know if you'll live long enough to see me die."

"Explains why you have such an affinity for demons then." Jaden muttered. Imagining his own personal hell he had been tormented with for the past couple centuries. It was hard to convey to one so dense what loss really was. "Unless your fallen friends come back then we'll settle this with your death. You can't win, even when sober. And then unless you are the exception to a rule spanning over a millenia your broken soul will remain in my body." He looked at the wall. Why was he taking so long with this? This young male had caused him so many problems, blamed him for his own problems apparently, come back from hell but refused to reform. Eating him would actually be a blessing to him probably.

"Who said I would be alone when fighting you? I know demons have ways of transferring powers to others, and I intend to even our playing field by figuring out how a lycan can get these."
