Aki groans quietly as she slowly wake up. She opens her after yawning, and upon seeing Blank missing she sits up slowly and looks around the room. She spots the clock; it was now reading 7:32. She assumes Blank had gone upstairs already, and she crawls out of the warm bed. She rummages through her bag and puts on a red mini skirt with black lace, her red stockings, and a tight black t-shirt with red stitching. She puts on her glasses and with another yawn she grabs her sword and heads up the stairs. Her stomach growls hungrily as she smells the bacon cooking in the kitchen. She walks in and sees Blank's parents.
"Good morning!" she says cheerfully.

Christian sat with a new issue of Weapons Monthly on the table, his fingers picking up the piece of bacon and popped it into his mouth as he chewed.
Lilian sat with a small laptop in front of her, her fingers pressing keys as the plate of eggs sat beside the laptop, steaming away. A plateful of eggs, bacon and some sausages filled the room with an intoxicating aroma.
When Aki entered into the room, Blank's parents looked up from what they were doing and smiled, "Morning!" Lilian replied while Christian took another strip of bacon, "Sleepin' beauty finally wakes?" He teased lightly, pointing to the seat across the table from him in offering for her to take a seat, "Help yourself, dear." Lilian said, looking up from her laptop and smiled warmly again before typing away.

"Aki giggles at Christian's comment and sits down at the table, resting her sheathed sword across her lap. She scoops a decent amount of food onto her plate and takes a few hungry bites.
"Where's Blank?" she asks after a few minutes, wondering why he wasn't at the table.

The trio ate in silence a moment before Christian looked up, "Hm? Oh, he went to the coffee shop downtown. He should've been back by now...I guess he's takin' the long way." He replied, nodding his head, "They've got amazing stuff...probably what makes Dollet famous, asides from the Comm. Tower." He added with a smile before digging his fork into his eggs and shoving it into his mouth, "He'll be back shortly though...The long way is only a twenty minute walk to and from." Lilian added, taking a bite of her own eggs.
"So, how does it feel to be back in Dollet?" She asked, looking up from her laptop computer screen, chewing lightly on her food.

"Pretty good. I had forgotten how peaceful it was here. Actually, Blank and I were talking last night about how we didn't want to leave," she says with a giggle.
Aki takes a few more bites of food, letting out a little moan.
"This is delicious," she adds, taking another big bite.

The older couple smiled at the idea of having their son around more, "What time do you guys have to go back?" Lilian asked, a wide smile on her face as she continued to think of having her son around longer.
"Thanks!" She added with a bow of her head as she too took another bite of her food.

"I'm not really sure. We will have to leave tomorrow night at the latest to be back for Monday; we'll probably go then. I wish we could stay a few more days, but I'm going to have a mountain of paperwork waiting for me as it is," Aki says, frowning slightly.
She finishes her plate, then leans back on her chair, her hands falling over her sword.

"Aw, that sucks. I can't stand paperwork. How Lilian is an author is beyond me" Christian said, earning a light slap in the arm from his wife as he smiled slightly. He finished his own plate of food and set his magazine down on the table before peering at his watch, "...I wonder what's taking Blank so long?" He said, looking up at the clock over the stove to see if his watch was wrong.

"Oh I didn't know you were an author. What do you write?" Aki asks, turning to Lilian.
She looks towards the door as if expecting Blank to walk through, then turns her attention back to the older woman.

Lilian blushed alittle before clearing her throat, "I write romance novels." She said sheepishly, seemingly embarrassed at the mention of her work. Christian smiled at how cute she was before leaning against the table.
Blank walked down the street at a casual pace, a floppy box was held in one hand while a small velvet box was held in the other. He concentrated more on the velvet box that sat open, a ring sitting within with the crystal glimmering in the sunshine...a whole 85000 gil for this small item of love and cherish...He was glad that he saved most of the money he made, only usually buying food and other things necessary to survive. Looking up, he saw the house closing in before shutting the small box and tucking it away into his pant pocket, carrying the floppy box that carried three coffees and a brown paper bag. He walked up the steps of the stoop and pulled the door open, stepping inside, "Heeeellloo?" Blank called, smiling as he saw Aki's back in the kitchen.

"Really? That's awesome! I should read some of your books sometime. I love reading. I read everything," Aki says, grinning at Lillian.
As Blank walks in, she turns at looks toward the door, smiling as she sees her lover enter.
"Heeey you! You sure took a while," she says, smiling at him lovingly.

Lilian smiled before nodding, "Okay! I'll give you a copy of something I've got laying around here." She replied before finishing off her plate of food. Christian smiled when Blank strolled into the door, "Geez, what did you do? Go to Timber?" He asked sarcastically, in which Blank shrugged.
"Sorry! I just...got caught up in the town." The crimson warrior replied, thinking of an excuse to avoid the real reason as to why he was late, "Buuut...I do come baring coffee." He said with a smile, setting down Aki's infront of her before giving her a kiss. He handed one to his father across the table, who took it eagerly, "And one Danish." Blank said setting the brown bag beside his mother's laptop, "Thanks!" She chimed as she reached into the bag and began to nibble at the pastry dish.
Her son took a seat across from her and sip at his coffee, "What time did you wake up?" He asked Aki, looking at the clock to see it say 8:03.

Aki thanks Blank as he hands her the coffee, and kisses him back.
"About half an hour ago," she replies, before sipping on her coffee happily.

He tore the cap from his coffee, the steam which radiated from it filled his nostrils with the refreshing aroma, "I've been gone that long? Weird..." Blank said, looking into his coffee with a warm look at the real reason why he took so long.

Aki gives him a questioning look, taking another long sip of her coffee. She goes to cross her legs, then remembers her sword was laying in her lap just in time to stop it from falling to the floor.
"Oh yeah!" she says, remembering why she brought it upstairs in the first place.
She slowly pulls it out of the sheath, revealing the blade. It's made of a dark, incredibly durable steel, but is very light weight considering it's strength. It is also slightly shorter than most Katanas, but it was obviously designed to be light and fast for quicker combat. The hilt is red with black cloth wrapped around in an ornate fashion, and there is a dragon emblem carved into the ends, as well as the guard.
Aki gently hands it hilt first across the table to Christian, smiling at him as she does so.
"What do you think?" she asks.
