Ruby St.Claire Ruby regretted it the moment she said it, and let out a soft sigh. She glanced up at his shades. "I love you, angel," she whispered softly. Arch couldn't hear the words, but he read her emotional signature, and nodded his head, placing his hand on the sill for a moment, then turning and walking to the base, going inside. /She was wrong/ "Tihs ah bahd waih tah ohpehn thihs cahwnvehrsaituhn, Seeh, poihntihn fihngehs, 'speciahleh aht meh gahl." Arch grumbled. He was walking on the first floor when the Seer appeared, walking next to him. /Truth doesn't care about being nice/ He shot back. /She was right to oppose my actions, but her sense of reasoning was flawed/ "Ahn whaht 'xactleh wehre yehr actiohns?" Arch said, turning his head to the Seer as he walked. /Blitz was in the city, and sought to enter the headquarters. I received word, word, to keep him out, so I had Herbasis and Theodore amass a force to scare him away. It was only when Ruby involved herself tha.../ "Enough. Ah giht iht. Yehr ahl fhuckihn stuhpihd." Arch said, waving his hand to silence the Seer. "Soh yeh twoh 'ahd ah pissihn match oeh'r shiht, ahn yeh ahwl gahwt pissehd. Whaht's ahl thihs, thouhgh, 'bahwt yeh leaivihn 'ehr?" /I rescued her from the Shelter. Long story. During her opposition to my actions, I told her that I regretted doing so/ The Seer found himself pressed against the wall, Arch's hand clenched around his throat. "Ihf ah eveh faihnd thaht sohmethihn 'appehns to Ruby, ahn yeh didhna gihveh evehrethihn ihn yehr paheh tah saihve 'ehr, ah wihl cahrve yehr fhuckihn eye ahwt ahnd shohvhe iht ihn a diffehernt ohpenihn. Ahr weh cleah?" Arch yelled, holding the Seer up. /Words were exchanged under heat from an open flame. Words exchanged were not all meant/ The Seer responds calmly. /I am not leaving my post in this army, and as such, I will protect her as much as I can/ Arch let him down, walking again. /You may wish to speak with Theodore and Herbasis, for they now bear grudges against Jehric, who also wishes to speak with you/

Hattie peeked out the window again and say the Angel retreating. She turned off the truck and made to get out to comfort Ruby when she suddenly felt a throbbing pain in her head. Her hand the was on the handle of the door tightened and pulled back, causing the door to open. Her other hand slammed down on the truck's horn, sending the loud noise all around them. She seized again, her head hitting the seat back on the truck as images she didn't know flashed before her eyes. A boy, her age, and then she felt a horrid pain across her stomach as she fell from the truck and onto the ground.

((lol, now I'm wondering how in the world Ruby managed to find her way to the Krovh thread....ah well, we'll work it out, always do.))
Ruby got out of her car and ran over to Hattie, "Rainbow? Sugar what's wrong?"

Hattie looked up at Ruby but barely saw her. She reached up one hand but it dropped seconds later. She seized one last time before passing into unconsciousness.

((Yay for forced sleepy time!)) Eric ran into thr garage, dropping his cell phone as he ran/. "HATTIE!" He checked her over, "SOMEONE GET A MEDIC!"

((That makes me all Emo inside. emo )) Hattie opened her eyes to see ERic. She smiled weakly up at him and then suddenly felt very foolish. "I'm sorry..." She said softly to him. Her hand went to the pain in her stomach. She knew everything was fine there, but the mysterious pain worried her. It was very present, though it felt like a past wound re-opening.

Ruby ran to Hattie, and reached out to heal her, but her face froze. "Sug, there ain't much I can be healin' here, we need to get her to the med-center." She motioned for Eric to help her lift Hattie, considering the both of them were shorter than Hattie (rofls). Ruby was afraid of what might be happening, to her friend, a cold fear settling in her gut.

Hattie fought against the Doctors, insisting she was fine. Her head throbed, yes, and her stomach hurt, yes, and she wanted some damn Cookies and Cream ice cream, yes, but she'd rather fend alone than with these damn White coats all around her. She wanted Eric, but she couldn't see him and Ruby had been pushed from the room. She tried to tell the Doctors to let he stay, but a Nurse just pushed her down on the bed and touched her forehead with a cool towel.

Ruby watched the door to the med center and prayed Hattie was all right. She instructed the nurse to call her if anything changed. She took a deep breath, staying around here wouldn't help anyone, so she decided it would be best to keep everything off her mind while she could, and headed back to her car.

After almost an hour, a Nurse finally opened the doors to let Eric in. She explained to him that Hattie was pregnant, though he knew that, and that the baby had suffered some distress during Hattie's series of seizures. The Baby was fine now, of cousrse and as was Hattie. She also explained that if the seizures keep occuring so violently, Hattie or the baby would be compromised as the result. The Doctor decided to prescribe Hattie Anti-Seizure medication, much to Hattie's dismay.
After the Nurse's run down to Eric, she moved to let him into the room that now held only Hattie. She was in fact sitting in the bed, IV in her arm and was finally shut up by Ice Cream, which she was still eating quite happily.

Xeen Soldevi Eric walked in, smiling at her. "Heya, babe... How are you?" He said, sitting down on the very edge of the bed. "I'm better. Confused... But better." She replied, liking her ice cream cone. "They shut me up.... Though they didn't have Cookies and Cream."

"Our friend is very much correct. I do wish to speak with you, about other friends of yours."
