I started reading them between New Moon and Eclipse (I read New Moon in five hours while getting ready for my birthday party. xD) because on of my friends was bugging me about reading them. I loved them, and I couldn't wait for Eclipse. New Moon is my favorite (and everyone thinks I'm crazy because of that) because it brings out the humanity and reality of the characters and the series. Breaking Dawn was a bit of a disappointment for me, though it was a good book in general, so I agree that it is so-so. I really wanted there to be an epic battle scene at the end, and then it didn't happen and I was sad.

Agreed - in some scenes it did fit, but not all of the ones it was used in. I'd love to be able to play it, as well. I use it on my playlists for some of the fanfiction I write, because it fits the mood and I just adore the music in general. But no, I hadn't heard that - I was pretty much out of the look other than getting updates from Meyer's official website.

That is cool that your name showed up in the book, though! I've seen an alternate spelling (the Welsh spelling, actually) of mine in another book, but it's usually the masculine form that I run across it for some reason. It's sort of funny in that regard, really. I've seen it in Star Wars of all places! Heheh....

Agreed....it's just too much, because I HATE Mary Sue characters. It's my pet peeve when it comes to anything. That's the whole reason that I don't read a series that was once my favorite (the Avalon books by Rachel Roberts) - because all of the characters are Mary Sue characters.

And I've always liked Jacob. I don't like the Bella/Jacob pairing, but I like Jacob, and I still feel that he got the short end of the stick with the living loophole that he imprinted on. (I refer to her as that here because Meyer lawyered her way out of the direct question of 'can vampires have children?')

And I had had the whole epic battle buildup since Eclipse - I knew something was coming while I was reading that book, and it was something big (my best friend thought I was just being silly, but I KNEW) that was coming in Breaking Dawn, since it wasn't in Eclipse. I love a good epic battle, and I was all excited for it, and then it didn't happen! I was very sad about that, because what was the point of the buildup to the climax if there wasn't a climax? rolleyes

Mind you, it's not the actual movie that the masculine of my name is in...it's in one of the Expanded Universe books, but hey, it counts, right?

Yeah...I've asked that question repeatedly. What the heck was Bella thinking? And EDWARD just HAD to let her name the baby. At least he would have had some sense and not saddled the kid with the name 'Renesmee.' For goodness sake, Bella should have lost all child naming privileges when she suggested it. Not even Albus Severus is as bad as Renesmess.....

Interesting fact, though. If you type Renesmee into Word and right click when it's underlined in red, the first thing that shows up on the list of words it thinks you mean is 'Rename.' xD Classic! We should write a book about that. Haha.

My thoughts exactly...it seems a ton better then Renesmee does...

I have to say, it would be kind of fun rewriting Breaking Dawn...but it would take me forever, because I'm more interested in playing with the characters from Terrier for the most part...and I write Edward better than I write Bella (just as I write Jareth from Labyrinth better than Sarah - go figure...) so it'd be kind of hard to write....

I know what you mean....I've been a good girl and I've only read the first chapter, which was fair game to begin with, since it was out by the time the bloody idiot who leaked it managed to mess everything up. I really liked it, and I'd have liked to see the whole series in Edward's point of view, actually.

I may eventually try my hand at rewriting it for Fanfiction for my pleasure, but that'll be after I'm done with my Legend of the Fox trilogy and interval stories, of which I've finished the first volume. But that would be if Meyer didn't finish it by the time I finished the conclusion of the trilogy... I have seriously got to get started on my novel one of these days...

Well, I haven't actually gotten much of it done - I'm still trying to mastermind the history of the land I'm creating in my head, and come up with some original stuff...I've actually got a prequel in planning that I might write before the main story that I'm planning...

And The Legend of the Fox is actually one of my fanfics, to avoid confusion - the recently finished Jarred Cooper: Piper's Rain and the sequel that I need to start working on, Jarred Cooper: Shades of Grey, the interval fics that go between that and the third volume, and then the conclusion story. It's Terrier themed, of course.

And I should likewise be writing up another roleplay...I've got at least one bouncing around in my head....
