Ah, well. I don't think Cloud ONLY remembered Aerith because he felt guilty. Of course, Cloud's had to deal with a lot of guilt all his life. :/ If people who hate Aeris etc state that, then they mine as well state that Cloud only thinks of Zack because he feels guilty too. Or even, Tifa. He felt guilty he couldn't help her, but that doesn't mean he's NOT thinking of her too.

I don't like Aeris, not one bit. (Actually, there are a few things that I do like about her) But there are some things that just aren't true. I'd defend any character if I felt someone had said something untrue, or just plain rude.

Lol. I didn't mean to contradict myself, but it's true. O_O;;; Some of the things Aeris says or does are quite admirable. I can't help NOT liking those things in her. Just because I don't like her personality, doesn't mean I can't like some things about her, right? I mean, I just can't stop myself from feeling that way, you do realize. ><; I don't think Aeris is a slut, or two-faced, but I think she is a few other things that I probably shouldn't mention in this thread. xD I think I have valid reasons for disliking her, but I've seen a lot of people who don't like her for the oddest reasons. :/ That does make me more than a little mad. If you dislike and/or like a character, you should have solid reasons, and ones that you can support already in your mind. Anyways, people will probably always fight for their opinions, but it's nice when they can at least admit when they've been proven wrong. Sometimes though, people just can't see when they or wrong, or have a hard time admitting it. That's just human nature, I suppose. xD

I know what you mean. It's just stupid to say that you're not a Tifa fan, if you like her and support Cleris, or if you just like her and don't like Cloti. That doesn't make much sense at all. :/ Awe, that's sad that people like that changed your view on Tifa. D': Something I find myself disliking, is when people hate or dislike a character for no reason. @_@ Because if there's no reason for it, why wouldn't you just settle for a likeness, instead of a hatred? Or maybe even something nuetral? That's what I think, anyways. ZaxTi/Fack has been a pairing I have just started to get into... ^^; I know that I like and support it, and you're right, they certainly do mesh well together... but I think Tifa has definitely proven who she has a heart for. ;3 One thing that I really hate, is when people who view the Fack pairing say, "But Tifa said she hated Zack!". >_>;
I don't think she really meant it at all. I mean, she just saw her father die and had a huge rush of emotions. And, you can tell from later on in VII that she definitely doesn't hate him. In fact, it seems like she misses him/acts wistful towards the thought of him if you have her in your party when you go to Gongaga.

Really? Wow. I don't hate Hojo either, I think he's awesome, lol. I have found that a lot of people hate Scarlet, but I just don't see why. XD I love her too!

I wouldn't say that Square is boring, but I WOULD say that they've had a lot of great ideas in the past, and have decided to change them. x3

Will do! By the way, I thought about what you said, Pink. About contradicting myself. So, I reviewed all of the points that I didn't like in Aeris, and what I did like. Re-reading Maiden Who Travels The Planet, and thinking about how she was in the game, made me come to a realization.

I'm happy to say that I no longer hate or dislike Aeris Gainsborough. ^^

In fact, now that I think about it, I can't understand why I didn't like her. It was mainly because of how she treated Zack in VII and in Maiden, but thing about how she acted in Maiden, it seems like Zack must of done something to upset her, besides just 'not coming back'.

Oh yeah, Sorry for being fickle. :3 It took me into the late hours of the night, to finalize my wavering feelings about her. XD

Hey. I'm back, after quite an absense. I've been busy as you should know. But it is nice to see the thread up and running even though its not too fast, but who cares. Ha, did you notice that with Lunar's posts the page is very pink. That is clerisy in itself! Oh by the way I dont think I've ever talked to you Lunar, nice to meet you. Wow, I just don't know what happened to me all of a sudden. I suddenly love Aeris, and am suddenly 'okay' with Cleris. *laughs to self*. I still can't say I'm a huge support of it, but I've defended it many times before. whee
I don't like when people bad-mouth the pair, for no reason. At least have a valid reason. xD

I think it would be better for everyone to admit to each pairings evidence, and pluses, rather than debating on what meant what. Of course, that's never going to happen. Because even I like to disprove things I don't agree with, lol.
