Miranda shoves her face into her pillow, fearing that she hasn't turned in any homework for the past two weeks. Many thoughts are running through her head. Should I quit the classes that I can't keep up with? But Miranda kept coming up with the same question over and over again. Or should I leave Hogwarts, for I am too busy....? She keepy thinking, everytime coming up with a new thought about leaving. How would they feel? Then she thought Maybe I could just quit Defense Against the Dark Arts, I can never keep up with it anymore! She went back to her main question again. If I leave Hogwarts, I won't have to worry about homework, and I wont lose any house points. But then Miranda thought I don't think I can leave! If I do, Mum and Dad will probably beat me! Miranda keep tossing and turning, not knowing what to do.
((Man! I haven't been active! Have I lost us any class points? I really don't know what to do anymore, I always forget about the guild, and I can never het my homework in on time anymore. I need help!!))

[[Yes a study group, I have just finished up my D.A.D.A. homework, and I am patiently waiting on Charms, Care of Magical Creatures, Potions, and Astronomy. I don't know if there will be a posting for Transfiguration but I hope so. I am off to go pack to leave for my trip tomorrow. I will be back on the 21st!! I will miss you guys. Keep up the good work, and Study group will begin on the 21st! Mikki I hope you will help those who may need it while I am away. ]]

Princess busts through the common room door looking all frazzled and exhausted from her recent trip. She notices the table over by the window and instantly remembers: "Oh my goodness study group starts soon. I need to go upstairs and get ready for it." She dashes up the stairs with her luggage banging against the railings of the stairwell and goes to her dorm room door. Unlocks it, and dumps her luggage while she gets her shower items ready.

Mikki, hearing a long series of clunks coming from the stairs, pounces on Princess. "You're back! I was sooo lonely!" She gives her friend a huge hug. "I'm so glad! How was your trip?"

Miranda trudged up the stairs to the girls dormitory, grabbed her potions homework and a quill, and started on it.
She was just waiting for mikki to come running up the stairs and tackle her, asking how things are going with carrigan. "What am I supposed to tell her? If I tell her the truth, it'll be old news within five minutes, but if I lie, it'll still be old news in minutes...."

Princess felt hands on her shoulders and began to turn around when Mikki of all people pounces on her. Mikki hugs her and makes an exclamation to Princess. "I missed you too Mikki, my trip went about as well as it could go. I am dealing with a sudden family emergency (rl) at the moment. Will you help me get the rest of my things into my dorm room?" Princess hears another person nearby and recognizes Miranda. "Hi there Miranda, how have you been this past week?" Princess sees a look of concern on Miranda's face and her eyes keep looking in the direction of Mikki. [[Thanks Miranda!!]] "Oh I hope she is alright" Princess mutters to herself. Still awaiting Mikki's assistance.

|| Welcome back, Princess! I, too, have returned for the time being! ||
"Defence Against the Dark Arts... Transfiguration... Care of Magical Creatures... Defence Against the Dark Arts... Muggle Studies..." Carrigan was muttering to himself as he strode up the stairwell to the Ravenclaw Common Room. He had left Hogwarts on temporary leave to attend some family matters at home, and it had left him rather far behind in his studies now that he had come back. He felt a pang of regret for not telling anyone in advance about his absence, but it had come up so quickly he himself had barely had any time to prepare for the trip home. He was worried about dropping out of the study group the other Ravenclaws had planned, as well as what Miranda would think about his abrupt disappearance. Feebly, he pushed open the door to the Common Room and peered in. Fortunately, it seemed to be deserted, for he didn't much want to have to explain things to everyone just yet. He inched into the room, brushing his hair aside. He'd gotten it cut and re-streaked while at home, and the electric blue highlights in his dark hair were now accompanied by lime green ones. He hadn't been able to help himself; it was the one way Carrigan managed to express his originality.
Well, apart from his tendancy to act like he was straight from the 1920s, and to reject any physical contact with him at a frightening speed. He walked briskly across the room, almost completely silent, and took the stairs to 'his' dormitory two at a time. The boy's door creaked unfortunately loudly when he pushed it open, to which he grimaced, and once he was inside, he shut it so fast it didn't have a chance to creak again. He looked at the room; it was as empty as ever.
He smiled a bit. "I'm home," he said.

[[I've been so busy this week! I haven't had time to post! Oh deary me, it's been a while. But I'm back now! My sister was home this week, so that's part of the reason, and we've had marching band. SO BUSY!!!]]
Mikki let Princess go, and said to her, "I hope everything is all right. I know it gets hectic at times like those." She helped Princess get her things all straightened out. "You really didn't miss anything here, though."
Mikki, not paying much attention to Miranda at first, noticed her friend was looking nervously toward her. She silently mouthed to her, "We'll talk later," with a hopefully unreadable expression, although Mikki is hardly capable of that. She was sure Miranda knew exactly what they would talk about.

|| How come I'm the only one who hasn't been busy this week?? I have had some "family troubles", but they didn't really change much. Other than the fact that I now have to walk to and from school every day. crying That's like two and a half miles of walking every day! And I had to memorise my marching band music. Do you kow how annoying it is to use a flute lyre?||
Mikki mouthed at her, she could tell she really wanted to hear about it, "we'll talk later."
"Thanks, mikki. Okay. I guess my potions will have to wait, seing as I can't think about anything else." she thought. She put her stuff away and decided to go to the library. She hadn't been there in a while, since term started, to be exact, and she figured that might've been part of the reason she was feeling so agitated. She snuck back down the stairs and out the doors of the common room.

[[Welcome back Carrigan--you were definitely missed!! I would encourage all who would like assistance with homework to please join our study group. It will be helpful and fun, plus the term isn't quite over just yet.]]
Princess nearing her door heard a scuffle on the stairs and heard a door on the boy's side shut quickly. "Hmmm, I wonder if that was Carrigan, I haven't seen him lately" Princess thought to herself. Princess turned to listen to Mikki: "yes everything is alright at the moment, thanks. Just very hectic on meeting deadlines, as you stated. Sorry to hear that the excitement levels were down this week." Princess noticed that Mikki was helping out with her bags, and she smiled appreciatively while continuing up to her door. She also took notice of the communication between Mikki and Miranda and hoped that things were okay. Princess slowly ascended the last step and went to her door to open it.
