pffft. I think its funny that most people don't seem to know that up till a couple hundred years ago, the most prominent drinks were alcoholic. they didn't drink water. milk was fine if you had a milking cow that put out. but when you didn't, you drank alcohol! even for the childrens XD

well the children drank wine.. cause the water in most places was to filthy to drink

yeah. water back then was dangerous unless you were lucky enough to live near a fresh spring or a clear river. you never want to drink from a lake though.
