 Assuming the boy meant to make him smile he turned to ask him something after he answered Renji’s. “Oh… it’s to remind me of who I am, what I am. As time passes by life like seconds on a clock, memories fade and if forgotten then the person will forget himself. To forget one’s self is to be devoid of life…” Pausing as he thought if continuing but decided not to, he voiced his own question. “How come no one has ever made you smile before? Have they been…unkind to you?”

Tempest blew past Neji, although he didn't form, sensing the presence of Caine's more angry form. "Make sure you keep your mark visible if you want to keep your pretty skin intact, boy," came the hissed warning in the breeze.
Logan gave Alexis a grin, then glanced over to watch Xander. "Seems someone is lacking in control of himself. I donn't suppose you ever feel that way, darling."

The monstrous size of Caine's cerebreus form was not only dominant in the prescence of other hellions, but the triplet jaws of lethal sabre teeth could penetrate through unpenetrable materials like titantium, insulation, moreover things that should contain a being like the Prince. The acidic, poisonous saliva dripping from the mouths of hungry heads seered the grass below it before the Cerebreus turned abruptly towards the stables where the beast began rushing towards it in a staggering movement, making his way nearby a stray foal that lingered away from the herd.

Alexis smiled as he looked over at Xander. “awww I like kitties though.” He faulted at the question through and his brow drew down for the briefest second then the grin was back and he shrugged brushing off the question. “No one can be in control all the time, there will be always things that we can’t predict after all.” His eyes had flickered towards the window as he said it, out towards the sae but it could be dismissed easily as just a natural movement or a trick of the light since the glance had been so quick.

Tempest stayed in wind form, following Caine, more than enjoying this aspect. The Cerberus turned him on, let's face it.

In a matter of a moments, the newborne, brown foal was snatched up into the jaws of the center Cereberus-kitsune head, who delightfully greeted it politely with its acidic saliva. The squeals of fright had stopped abruptly by the sickening, crunches caused by the whetted, white sabre canines of the Prince while savoring the taste and aroma of blood on his lips. It was the hellion's first kill in a very long time having been trapped inside the inactive, slaughter mode for centuries remembering the elephant that he had taken down in the safari, also accompanied by a pack of hyenas. With a whiff of the air, the beast swiftly swipped at the air with his lethally, armoured claw noticing the scent of Wind element drifting from beside him, his blood crimson hues for eyes eyeing the air in spectatious manner.

The rent boy took the offered hand, the grin remained on his features although it looked a little forced and he had gone several shades paler at the last words, as before he brushed it off though answering with a light hearted tone. “Of course Logan, like you said I run around to much these days I miss our little chats. Some of my things are still at the pool from earlier which I planned to pick up anyway. Is there anything you want me to get for you? I can meet you at the pool after.”

Jaysen turned from the tack room at the screams of the foal, running out to the corral. He froze, the color draining from his face at the sight of the monster and the horrible twisted remains of the baby he'd already named Caramel. "No!" he screamed, running forward without thinking, blinded and in shock, wanting to get the other horses to safety. He fell on the gate, swinging it openn for the panicked horses to escape through. He was knocked to the ground by the stampeding equines, a hoof striking his leg with a sickening crunch. He cried out, the pain giving him a moment of clarity to realize his own danger, but he was unable to get up and run.
Logan stretched. "Why don't you get some blankets and bring them down to the beach." He turned and made his way out before Alexis could protest. "Meet me down there. We'll swim in the sea."
