Moshi-moshi! I'm a veteran of the guild, though I've been rather inactive for... a while. I'm a Freshman at Bearden High School. I was in the marching band last semester, plant to be in it next season, and am presently in the concert band. I play clarinet(apparently), as well as trumpet, and piano. Though, clarinet is my most active instrument.
I own one wooden clarinet and one plastic clarinet, whom I've named Sophie and Vincent. >.> They're pretty much my best friends. It's my fifth year playing clarinet, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. ... Though, it's just a matter of time until I can't buy any thicker sized reeds. Playing on a four... >.> My stand buddy plays on a two and a half to three.

It's a love/hate relationship with my clarinet and I. We don't like each other right now though. It squeaks. I'm a recent member, as of two days to gaiaonline. I love marching, odd isn't it? Unfortunately, our trumpets don't like us, or so it seems, is it like that everywhere else too?

I'm premature when it comes to instrumental physics. lol I'm not even a freshman yet. Hmm.. but our class is playing at ther junior level.. well.. you know the percussion, with them, the band will never sound like it wink
P.S. I love the clarinet, it is such an earth-toned instrument, it's the voices of the trees. ^_^ I prefer to play it over my saophone or guitar. 3nodding

I'm originally a brass player, but I love to play and perform so currently I'm learning clarinet. I'm a band aide for the 6th graders who come to our high school to take band from our instructor, so I play it with them. I love the sound of the clarinet; and, I'm suprised at the tone I can get. My clarinet it a First Act brand...one of the ones from Wal-Mart or some store like that...it's really hard to tune, but it's fun to play. Right now my endurance is the pits, but it gets a lot better each time I play!!

ugh...never again do I want to do sectionals with a group of idiots....sometimes it sucks being section leader gonk
>_>! I could handle doing a sectional with the first clarinets...eh...but the second clarinets? ::stares at them:: -_- they are complete idiots! well...first clarinets fool around still....>_>.....guess I'll have to fix it...since I am section leader....atleast it was better then the first sectional!
