Noticing the exchange between Aykon and Rhodes, he can’t help but smirk behind his bridged hands. When Aykon speaks to him, he nods in agreement and understanding, and then takes another sip of his sake. After which he returns to his previous posture.

Syngey *Scanning the room she catches the nod from the woman and happily smiles in her direction. She also caught the frown from the woman on the couch and wondered if she had offended her but thought this was unlikely. Before she was able to evaluate the rest of the people in the room she heard a man's voice that seemed to be speaking to her. Turning her attention to him she saw he was smiling in her direction, a smile that she quickly returned.*Hi! Thank you for your kind words. I think I will just relax here for a moment before troubling you with anything. Sure thing! Just let me know if you need anything from food to a room. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rhodes *A smile creeps on her lips, this made her happy. She hadn't been sleeping as well as she would like and maybe with Aykon by her side she could sleep with ease.* "That's great, thanks.I'll meet up with you later than. I need to get those sheets from the hospital into the wash" *Gets up and out of her seat and heads up the stairs and to the hospital.She had removed the linens to replace them with clean ones but she still needed to wash the blood stained ones.* Ok, just make sure to let me know if anything changes and thanks for taking care of the hospital. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zophlin Zophlin stared back at Spike unblinkingly, as this would be no problem for him, since for the first time he'd been here he'd be telling the complete true. I have no idea who that woman was, but if you ask me, she means trouble, and probably someone we should stay away from Zophlin may not have known who she was yet, but he would find out soon enough, the last thing he needed was someone messing up his plans. He'd thought about staying in the infirmary and grilling Spike some more, but thought it best if they rejoined the others. Trying to move things to fast would just make it harder later on. It would be far better he though to earn her trust slowly. Besides, he had all the time in the world, literally. We should probably head back down stairs now, and see what's going on. Taking Spike's hand once more he laces their fingers together and begins to walk out of the infirmary without another word. Hey Zoph. *After hearing the man's response Synge went back to surveying the room's inhabitants. She couldn't help but find each one of them curious in their own way. The man who had spoken to her and the woman who had just left the area both seemed to work here, which would explain their hospitality towards her; another clue was the grinning man asking him about a job. The other people sitting at the bar both seemed to be keeping to themselves; the younger one seemed normal enough but she found the man with the blue hair to be different somehow and her gaze fell on him a bit longer than it had the others. Before she was able to give this much thought her attention was stolen by the two people who had just appeared in the room. Thinking the way the red-haired man seemed to be dragging the other person was a little odd, she decided to watch them further.*

Red again found herself being dragged around by Zophlin, and for the first time realized how calloused his hands felt, which made her wonder what he did for a living. Instinctively her thumb began rubbing the outisde of his hand feeling the skin. Her human form did lend some pleasant advantages as opposed to her normal form. The top of his hand was smoother then his palm but still a little rough to the touch. This really gave her pause as Zophlin didn't striker her as the outdoors type. At least not so much outdoors as his hands seemed to indicate.
However, her face paled when they reached the top of the stairs and started to decend. She was suppose to be a man, and just really realized that she was hild the hand of another man. Now usually this wouldn't be such a problem, but she didn't know how these people felt about such things, nor did she want to give the wrong impression.
She began trying to pull her hand away as they reached the bottom of the stairs.
Um, Zoph, I think you should let my hand go, I'm not a baby, and I don't really need you pulling me around like one. And this is a little to much guy bonding for me.

As he sits there with his hands bridged in front of him, his eyes slowly shift from left to right, but he doesn’t move his head. He then closes his eyes for a moment, and lets his awareness sweep throughout the room. Afterwards, he takes another sip of his sake, and then pulls out an ancient looking tome and sets it down on the counter in front of him. Browsing through it for a moment, he then pulls out a pen, which looks like a quill, and then begins to write in it. Aykon is the closest to him, so if he looks down at the book, he’ll notice weird diagrams and some ancient text that he can’t quite understand. What he may find even more surprising is the fact that he actually can understand about fifteen percent of it, but unfortunately that’s not enough to decipher what it’s all about.

*When she re-emerges downstairs it is with the sheets in her hands she goes straight into the laundry room and sets them on the floor while she gets the washer going. The black nob turned easily in her fingers as she set the water on warm. As the water rushed into the tumbler Rhodes drops the linens in along with some liquid detergent. She closed the lid and leaned up against the washer, thinking about how weird the past few days have been. It was a refreshing change but an akward one at that.*

*Nikki re-enters the tavern, nods a greeting to those who turn, and slips into a seat next to Da where she engages in a conversation with her friend. They use their hands to talk to one another instead of speaking with their voices..*

Letting go of her hand after a moment she continued to smile pleasantly.*Nice to meet you Rhodes, my name is Synge. Thank you so much.*She glanced around once more with a look of curiosity on her face. Still looking about her she spoke again.*So this place seems nice. Do a lot of people pass through here? "Your welcome Synge it's to meet you too. This place does see it's far share of business but I think you have come at a rather good time. It seems like everyone is in the main tavern. If you need anything just ask Aykon." *points to the blond gentlemen at the bar.*"..He's the manager. Nikki.." *indicates the brunette at the bar*"she's the assitant manager, or you could ask me but I might not be able to help much. I work in the hospital though if you need anything medically."

*Da, following Nikki's gaze, also turns toward the couple. He bows his head to the pair before turning back to Nikki and tapping her shoulder to get her attention. He then gestures to Rhodes in the middle of the rest of his hand movements, and then to Aykon.*

She waves to the pair before returning to her conversation when Da taps her shoulder.* ((Edit)) *She sent a smile in the direction of the lady and the man who she was conversing with, waving to both of them with a short motion of her hand, even though it seemed unlikely that they saw any of this considering they weren't looking in her direction anymore.*
