"Well if you can't figure it out, it only proves me right, doesn't it." Otogi said haughtily, curling up in the blankets. "And how do I know you didn't mean it? What if you're trying to crush my fragile spirit?" he half-whined half yawned, his eyes starting to flutter shut. It was cold...

Jou growled quietly and rolled over, his back to the mage. "Oh, I don't know... because I just told you what I really meant? Feh, fragile spirit... just be quiet and sleep, mage, and think what you want. Who am I to argue?" He was angry now, but kept it as much to himself as he could. Now was the time to sleep, after all. He curled up, letting Otogi have the blankets, and shut his eyes stubbornly.

Malik looked over at everyone, all of home appeared to be sleepign and shrugged. settling himself against the wall near the window, and sitting down, he quickly curled up and allowed himself a well deserved sleep.

Bakura awoke in a malvolent mood. He'd seen Isis again, yes, and they'd managed to create an exit. That was wonderful. But-
'There? Why there?! I never wanted to go back there again! Damnit...'

The mage was soon asleep, but not before pressing himself right up against Jou's back in a rather drowsy state in order to share boy warmth. He had easy dreams, a small smile on him for most of the hours.

Jou was half-asleep himself when Otogi pressed against him, so he really didn't mind it. All he registered was the comfortable extra warmth before he drifted off into deeper sleep.
Throughout the night, Jou had become increasingly cold due to his lack of blankets, and came to crave the warmth Otogi was giving off. He rolled over, looped an arm around Otogi's waist, and pulled them closer together with a contented smile.
And that's how morning found the warrior; cuddled up to Otogi and holding him close, quite comfortable with the position. He groaned softly as the first rays of sunlight shone into his face, shutting his eyes tighter in protest.

"Baku-chan?" Ryou asked as his brother moved, causing him to wake up. "What's wrong?" He asked noticing Bakura's bad mood immediatly. "Are you alright?"

Dark blood-brown eyes turned to the boy. He rubbed his back a bit before sitting up. "It's in the mountains."

"Look Francine, I realize that you're a tourist and that somehow makes you special, but I have a lot of fangirls in Japan already. You were supposed to leave during the night. Or I was." Otogi mumbled, one of his early morning dreams obviously from another realm. He shifted a bit in Jou's arms. "I'm sorry Francine, really I am. But the truth is you're kind of manly. And large. For a girl I mean." he added.

Others were stirring, but the dark faerie was tangled still in his sleep. He dreamt. Not a normal dream, one different- more vivid than any other... He was batteling against Bakura- a dark battle- shadows everywhere (not that that bothered him...) but there were horrid monsters that obeyed each commandment. Parts of Bakura were no longer visible- taken in by the darkness- but the two still battled. A great beast attacked Bakura with a blinding force, Bakura was disappearing further, but Marik laughed and laughed. A dark, cold laugh that tore at his conscience heart- but still, he slept and dreamt. Suddenly, he was no longer battling against Bakura, who had gone into the darkness of those terrible shadows, but against a man who looked like the little demon Yugi... Harsh words were thrown at Marik from the Yugi look-alike, but again, he laughed that heartless laugh and they continued to minipulate the monsters to their bidding. But suddenly, in a flash, one of the Yugi look-alike's monsters struck Marik, and it felt like he was being torn in two. In his dream, he laughed- but his conscience screamed at the encroaching darkness and the pain. His body twitched, and he toppled to the side, the support of the bed behind him leaving. He hit the floor, ripped from the dream, but continued to scream. When his eyelids tore open, he recalled where he was and his cries haulted instantly. Staring at the floor, the sunlight playing over his head, he avoided the gazes of those eyes which he felt were upon him. He panted, and gained control of himself. 'Dream? What dream? I wasn't dreaming- it was a nightmare... I can't remember what about.' he told himself mentally for reassurance.

Bakura jerked and stilled the instant he heard the thump of a body hitting the ground. He rolled over and landed beside the faerie quietly just as the ear-piercing screams stopped.
"Marik! Marik!" he tired to yell over the shrill sound. "MARIK!"
The creature quieted, but he could still hear his ears wringing, the blood rushing through his body, pumping adrenaline, fear sweeping through him.
He placed his hand on the blonde's shoulder. "Mar..? You alright?"

Marik flinched at the touch of the fallen, a flash of his dream playing through his mind. Pushing it away as quickly as it had come, he masqued the panic on his face to the best of his ability, though his eyes still screamed with the dream. "I-" he swallowed, "I'm f-fine Bakura."

Bakura stared at him, hurt shadowing across his eyes as he drew his hands to his chest, slowly.
"I'm sorry," he breathed.

"Nn... wha...?" Jou frowned a little in his half-conciousness, wanting more sleep, but the sound of Otogi's voice was bringing him back to the waking world. He was still too comfortable to want to move though (thought he wasn't aware of why yet). " Mm, Otogi... if... you just called me a girl... I'm gonna..." he began to mumble.
