Were any of the other contestants struggling to keep up? It was taking all of their willpower to stay in the water.
One of the event runners seemed to notice that something was off with them and they were pulled out of the water early. Damn, caught cheating.

Maybe this had been a bad idea after all. If he didn't last too much longer he had a feeling Aligaa would insist he needed more endurance training or something.
He couldn't take it anymore, though. In the end he had to crawl out of the water. He really needed something warm.
