 Jack Reed Jack's 'Slappy' comment had indeed gone over Sidevi's head. He couldn't help but chuckle when she looked over her shoulder and grabbed her tail - the expression on her face was priceless. He then smiled when they shook hands. "Thank you, Devi!" he said happily. He then took one of the cookies she had offered him, taking a bite of it "Damn, this is good!" he exclaimed, grinning.
Soon enough, the cafe manager had come back to the table with the coffee and pie that Jack had ordered. "Thanks!" he exclaimed. The aroma of the strong black coffee immediately struck his nostrils, and he knew from the smell alone it was going to be good. He took a sip, sighing contently... This was definitely much better than the Folgers he had at home. He then picked up his fork, taking a bite of his pie. It wasn't anywhere near as good as the pecan pie they had in the South, but it was surprisingly better than he'd expected... He decided not to pay right away, leaving his tab open in case he decided to order anything else.
As Jack sipped his coffee, he looked over at Lala dreamily. He wondered if there was a girl anywhere in the world that was even half as beautiful as she was... Suddenly, music started to play from his phone. It caught him off guard, causing him to jump a little bit. He looked down to see that the game had finished downloading. He picked up his phone and started the game...
Jack's first step, of course, would be making a new character... Scrolling through the different races and classes available, he eventually settled on an orc barbarian, naming him Lokthar Skullcrusher. At last, his character showed up on screen - a muscular, green-skinned orc... He was wearing little more than a loincloth, boots, and a horned helmet and wielding a comically oversized battleaxe.
Jack leaned in closer to Lala, showing her the screen of his phone... "All right, I just made my dude... he's a barbarian." he said "What should I do now? Can you come find me, or would it be better if I came to you?" He wasn't really used to playing these sort of games, and could use some help...

 ▂▃▅▆█ ＧＧ ＮＯＯＢ █▆▅▃▂ ✌Lala tapped happily at her screen as she began to adjust her characters combat skills. She felt Jack stare at her, to which she was used to. She almost missed it if it wasn't for the fact that he was sitting next to her. With a slight cough, Lala looked up at Jack with a smile, Something on my face, or did my good looks just catch you off guard? Lala asked, a bit of a flirtatious tone underlining the sentence.
Jacks phone blasted the battle music of the game they all were playing,
and Lala looked down a bit surprised. A small blush dusted her cheeks as she looked away and continued on what she was doing. About a minute or two later Jack was done making his character. Looking back over, Lala glanced at Jack, then to his phone as she leaned into him to get a better view, Oh I can just send you an invite actually. I have to send Sidevi one anyway. Lala spoke as she dragged her fingure down to the menu icon.

 Sidevi || On Person: $80 || In Bank: $740 || Mood: embarrassed Sidevi had managed to get lost in her computer a moment, her ears still swiveled so she can hear the two others and the slight flirting from lala, I miss Kiku now. she thought. Though the music caught her off guard as she turned over to look at the sudden noise, slightly wide eyes as most animals would be despite not actually being an animal. But once she realized what it was she was able to shift her eyes back to normal. "Barbarians are funny! And thanks for letting me know about the spells.. I'm.... level two? I thought I was so much more." she huffs with a small little pout. Clearly she was expecting more from what she had done. Though she crosses her arms while waiting while turning her head back to the computer, "Let me know if you send it! I don't have one yet.. Hopefully my stuff can stay purple. Or get better purple stuff."

Jack Reed "Well, you could say that your looks caught me off guard..." said Jack with a smile, gazing into Lala's eyes. "You know shug, you're so beautiful that you give the sun a reason to shine!" He then took a sip of his coffee before forcing himself to turn his attention back to the game. He smiled when she mentioned sending him an invite, looking forward to playing with her.
As Jack waited for Lala's invite, he did the tutorial quest, learning the ropes and getting a feel for the basics of the game. The barbarian wasn't the smartest, the most charismatic, magically inclined, pious, or the 'tankiest' of characters, but was definitely the strongest. They were practically incapable of using magic, but had a high resistance to it as well. They couldn't wear heavy armor, but had a high natural toughness to make up for them... Their specialty was charging into battle half-naked, throwing all coution to the wind, running enemies down like a freight train and chopping them to pieces in a bloody rage. He had a 'rage' meter that would build up as he fought and took damage... once it was high enough, he could enter berserker mode, giving himself a boost to speed and damage. He also had a battle-cry he could use to strike fear into the hearts of enemies and lower their resolve. There was a flask full of liquor at his character's hip, which he found that he could use to quickly restore a bit of health and stamina in the midst of battle. He also found that he had a special attack which allowed him to charge a single opponent and strike for massive damage, which increased with distance. Jack laughed, seeing his character knock a goblin's head off with his axe, then take a swig from his flask and belch loudly. He could see what Sidevi meant when she said that barbarians were 'funny'. While a shirtless, axe-wielding, raging alcoholic Orc would be quite frightening in real life, it was amusing to play as one on his phone.
From the corpse of a slain bandit, Jack retrieved a new item - a pair of leather bracers that increased his dexterity. "Hell yeah!" he exclaimed, equpping them onto his character. He then turned to Lala, smiling "Uhh... I still didn't get your invitation yet. Did you send it, or am I doin' something wrong?" he asked, looking forward to battling alongside her.

They seemed a happy little group. 'I was never a real gamer,' she mused to herself with a slight smile, and closed her book as the young man next to her gestured to the coffee cup he had just set down. 'Do I like..?' She peered into the cup and was greeted by a very familiar face. "Oh my gosh, it's Pika~!" Her throat strained with her contained, fan-girl scream as her hands raised to cover her mouth for a moment. A blush feathered across her face as she nodded her acknowledgment that he would return.

It was a bittersweet thing, her eyes distant with memory as her lips curved in a smile. She decided she needed to take a picture of it, before she ruined it with a drink, and brought her phone out of her satchel to do so as she waited. The cheesecake taunted her, and her hand reached for her small fork to take a tiny bite. The creaminess over her tongue made her eyes close on a small sigh of bliss. 'I dunno if it was just good salesmanship or not, but this is amazing.'

She scrolled to the search bar and typed their usernames in, sending them invites and some small gifts. She gave Sidevi some MP potions and diamonds, while Jack got a level ten club with nails. She also threw in some defense potions and smile towards him, If we're playing together, then your going to need those. I'm not saving your butt all the time old man. Lala joked as she placed her phone down and sipped her coffee. She turned towards Sidevi with an apologetic smile, Yeah it takes a second to level up in this game. But if you stick with Bunny here, she proudly points to herself with a cocky grin, Then you'll be my level in no time!

When he was invited, Koharu exhaled a quiet breath and smiled gently at the girl. "Sorry, there was a bit of a rush that I had to take care of.. As I said earlier, I just moved into town, and so I don't know anybody yet.. My name is Okayuki Koharu," he added, knowing that not to introduce himself at this point would have been rude. "Might I ask your name in return?"
There was something about her unassuming nature that interested him. While most people might let those interests slide by, Koharu so rarely came upon them that he felt compelled to explore it. Why else would he be imposing on one of his customers? By all means, this interaction was already well outside of the norm - at least, to him that was how it seemed. And it hit him rather suddenly that he might be behaving very rudely.
"I'm sorry for intruding like this," he stammered out quietly. "Really, I should let you sit and enjoy your treats in peace.. If I am bothering you at all, please don't hesitate to say so, and I will leave you alone and get back to work."

  When Summer woke up that morning, she pouted a little as she saw the rain was falling even harder than it had been the day before. While she loved the rain, she loved warmth and sunshine even more. The dark and gloomy weather brought her to places she wanted to stay away from. Wrinkling her nose and shaking her head, the woman went to the kitchen to feed Baxter before heading to the bathroom. She had plans today, so no need to feel gloomy! It was nice bumping into Leon again, even of she didn't know him very well. It was good to talk to someone. It had been a little while since she last spoke to Carmen and she was starting to feel lonely even with Baxter's constant companionship. Sighing softly as she leaned her head back under the water, Summer stood there for a short while before going through the rest of her routine.
When she stepped out of the shower, she wrapped a towel around herself before cursing as she looked at the time. She was running late! Pulling something on, Summer called a cab. Bouncing around impatiently, Summer then ran out to the cab and told the driver to go to the cafe as quickly as she could. During the drive to the Cafe, Summer's entire body was rigid and she had her eyes closed tightly. At one point the driver asked it she was okay, but she just gave some weak excuse about motion sickness. When the cab stopped, she bolted out of the vehicle and threw the driver a 20, telling them to keep the change before she headed into the cafe. Glancing around, she spotted Leon and gave a small and apologetic smile while heading to the counter. After getting herself a mocha and a slice of cherry pie, she moved as quickly as she could over to the table. Gently setting her stuff down, she sat across from Leon. "I'm sorry I was late. I had to wait for a cab." She said, shaking her head a little bit and still looking a little frazzled. Thankfully the drive was super short, but it was still difficult for her.

Mostly she was surprised at just the amount of things he was fine with saying in front of others. Didn't bug her, but she's not sure she'd do the same. Instead she decided to follow along with what lala was telling her, "Sure! You seem to know what you're doing. So I'm not against that." though she turned to lala and asked with a small little smile, "Is there a lot of ice magic by chance?"OOC: was feeling sick yesterday and slept from 12 pm to 12 am, whoops.. sorry.

The cafe was truly a blessing from the heavy downpour of rain, though when he and Elin stepped inside, it had been bustling with activity, more so with the customers interacting one way or another, and there was one girl who was immersed in a game. Benjamin internally sighed; so much for a private talk, but it was not that the others would mind what the two would be discussing anyway, unless any of the employees would be available to attend to them for the drinks and desserts. But first things first; they have to find a vacant table to occupy, and Ben managed to secure one near the windows, far from where the others had been staying. He then put his bag on the table, eyes cast on his new manager.
"Say, what you wanna have as a hot beverage? Coffee and tea are mostly available. Plus, cheesecake, cookies, muffins and pie slices are available. Feel free to ask," he spoke, knowing that it would be best to have the order settled in as quickly as possible.

((Sorry if my post isn't very good, I feel like I can't think this morning)) Jack could see the pink blush dusting Lala's pretty cheeks and he grinned, happy to have this effect on her. Just then, the invite popped up on screen, along with a gift from Lala. He accepted the invite, then looked to see what he had recieved. A smile came across his face when he saw it was a large club with nails... Or, the 'Infuriating Club of the Bloodletter' as it was called - a level 10 club. It filled his rage meter faster, and also had a chance of causing bleeding for a short time when used against any living monster with blood. In addition, she had given him some defense potions. These would definitely come in handy, since his character class couldn't wear 'heavy' armor.
"Thank you so much for helpin' me out, shug!" said Jack with a smile, chuckling at Lala's 'old man' comment. "Yeah, I'll follow you..." He had his character walk up to Lala's, looking at her avatar. "Wow... your character is kinda hot!" he said nonchalantly. Messing around with a few menu options, he discovered how to make his own character use various expressions. On the screen, his barbarian could be seen giving the 'thumbs up', playing dead, then getting up and dancing like a fool. Jack laughed as he watched this. "Well... what does this one do?" he asked. Upon selecting another item on the menu, his character walked up to Lala's and gave her a kiss, as their avatars were surrounded by cute little hearts. Jack covered his mouth with his hand, glancing over at Lala, doing his best not to burst out in laughter.
Jack was getting a hang of the game rather quickly... He fought monsters at Lala and Sidevi's side, trying to help them out as much as he could, even though his level wasn't as high as theirs yet. Finally, he kicked down a door using brute strength, only to find a room with a large chest in the center. Trying it, he found that it was locked and his party lacked the key. "Anyone know how to pick locks?" he asked, glancing at Sidevi and Lala.

Leon had waited and waited... but Summer still hadn't shown up yet. He was starting to get worried that she wouldn't come at all. Sighing, he turned his attention to his laptop and tried to work on a little bit more of his novel while sipping his chai latte. Just then, he felt a cool breeze on his face as the coffeshop door opened. Looking up, his heart started to throb when he saw it was none other than Summer herself. He smiled warmly at her, and found he was unable to keep his eyes off of her as she got herself some coffee and pie at the counter. She looked a little flustered - clearly, she had been in a hurry to meet him here.
"Hello again, Summer!" said Leon happily, when Summer came and sat down at his table. "It's so good to see you, I was starting to get a little bit worried..." He then took a sip of his coffee, smiling warmly at her. "It's all right, though. There's no need to apologize! Next time, you don't have to waste your money on a cab though... Just give me a call, and I'll be glad to pick you up and take you wherever you need to go." he offered kindly. "I work from home, so it's not like there's anywhere I have to be."
Leon then saved the file on his laptop and closed it, so that he could turn his undivided attention towards Summer. As his eyes met hers, he found himself a little lost in them once again. "Anyways... how has your morning been, Summer? I've been all right, just working on my novel. I finished up a chapter about Morgana's past... Now, I'm trying to decide whether I'll have Jericho die now, or keep him alive a bit longer..." He was of course, referring to characters within his book series.

▂▃▅▆█ ＧＧ ＮＯＯＢ █▆▅▃▂ ✌Lala zoned slightly as she adjusted her characters outfit, replacing her helmet with a stronger, and less damaged, one. She also rearranged her attack slots to suit the up coming grinding session that Lala was hosting, a few of her friends were going to come on when she streamed, they planned on taking down the newest boss, the Dangrif? Lala shook her head and sighed, she couldn't keep up with the names sometimes. Lala exited her inventory to see Jacks character run up next to her and emote. He did some funny ones, the dancing one killing Lala when she watched it. It was so random! Lala went to go emote back when Jacks character suddenly kissed Lala's. In mid thought, Lala just watched. She couldn't understand what happened, until a few seconds later. Her face deadpanned as she facepalmed and giggled, They honestly need to get rid of that emote. Lala joked as she moved her character from Jack, then did an emote of her making a heart, breaking it, and throwing it aside. After spamming that a few times, along with other emotes, she caught the last question Sidevi asked her. Ice magic? Yeah there is. But you have to learn it by scroll writings. I have a scroll if you want. I got it from a raid the other night. Lala beamed as she went into her scrolls section and scrolled(get it LOL) threw until she found it. Clicking on it she read through the requirements, she wanted to make sure Sidevi could use it without a certain level. Seeing none, she sent the scroll as a gift and placed her phone down.
It's a freezing spell I do believe. If it is then you probably have one of the most op spells! It'll freeze the target in place for three or four seconds, give them an Ice Burn, which depletes their health by three points, every two seconds. The only down side is that you can't use it on the same target. So it's a one time use per enemy. Lala explained as she looked over at Sidevi's screen. Lala noticed the time and gasped, Oh crap! She exclaimed and hurridly finished her cupcake. She had to get home fast! She still needed to stream! Looking back to SIdevi, and gulping her cupcake down, she smiled, threw her mask back on and asked if she would like to come over. She asked Jack as well, but she already knew he would come.

Jack had watched Lala's face to see how she'd react to his character kissing hers. The sound of her giggling was sweet music to his ears, like the ringing of little silver bells. He then turned his attention back to his screen, grinning as he watched her start to spam emotes as well. As she gave Sidevi an ice magic scroll, he decided to try out his new club on a few monsters. It was quite powerful, and he found that he loved it!
Jack turned to face Lala once again, just in time to see her hurry to finish her cupcake. He remembered what they had talked about last night... that she was going to be streaming today. He started shoveling pie into his mouth, hurrying to finish it as fast as he could. He left enough money to pay for his coffee and pie on the table, along with a little bit extra... He then stood up, picking up his coffee cup. "I'd love to come with you, Lala!" he said, grinning "I promise, I won't make smartass remarks or do anything to interrupt your stream..." He looked forward to being there with her as she did her podcast, or whatever it was...

The quaint coffee shop was what he was expecting, warmth, inviting, and holds a "home sweet home" feeling to it. He followed Ben closely and nodded as he sat on the opposite side. It took him a moment to actually acknowledge what Ben had said, being distracted by the warm esthetic feature the cafe had, and nodded as he placed his head on his hands, holding his head up as he watched Benjamin for a moment, What would you recommend?

Benjamin hummed, contemplating on the recommendations that he had formulated in his head before finally deciding on an answer. "The selection of hot teas is my best choice for a hot beverage, together with your choice of muffin. Hot lemon tea works well with the blueberry muffin if you wanna try something diverging, zestful and healthy. I'll be right back with those for both of us, okay?" that was all he said before he fell in line, making sure to be patient as soon as possible. It did take a while before it was finally his turn and he paid for everything that he had ordered for the both of them, costing $7.00 in total.
The hot tea was served in those simple yet functional ceramic mugs while the muffins were big, the round shape poking out of the paper liners a bit more. There were packets of sugar and cream available just in case, served on the side beside the tea. Ben was the one carrying the tray to the table he and Elin were currently occupying, setting it down before finally taking a seat. "Here you go, feel free to give it a taste," the sales associate spoke as he placed one cup served on the saucer close to Elin's side, followed by the muffin.
