DAKOTA HAS THE PARANOIA VIRUSNut shots were so low Sasha, that is so low. All he could manage out of his wincing was a small wheezing sound and a slap at the persons shins. HP: 7/60 DMG: 2 TAR: Sasha CHG: 2/3 Quote: He can't recognize friend from foe, and everyone to her looks terrifying. There is no hunger however, just paranoia, an extreme case of it. She has half her HP and can attack as per usual. If she does more than 10 damage in a single turn, anyone surrounding her also contracts that paranoia (can't tell friend from foe/ everyone looks like a terrifying enemy), at half health. If anyone with the virus reaches 0 HP, they can be KO'ed to be treated the same way. Anyone who contracts the virus also spreads it by dealing more than 10 damage in a single turn.Anyone with this strain of virus should post that they have the paranoia virus in bold goldenrod + in ooc below list its effects! This virus cannot overlap with the existing one.

Confusion didn't even cover half of how Harlow felt at that moment.
The Mist trainee's head was pounding, she had two places on her arm that felt like she had skinned them, and on top of that she had a mouthful of blood. When she started to gain consciousness she rolled over spitting out the blood that was in her mouth. She groaned as she did. She was completely lost on everything that was going on. She lifted her hand to her head and started to sit up crossing her legs under her as she did.
What the hell hit her?
She rubbed her face as she gathered herself, she was slowly starting to come around. She lifted herself and then looked around. Where was Zascha, and Nellie? Yeah that was who she was working with. She started to shift herself up. She looked like hell, her bun had fallen out and her hair was all over the place, her make up was completely gone and her face instead was covered with blood, mostly near her chin. She knew she looked horrible but she wasn't even sure how much she cared. she held her head as she started to walk, her friends caught her attention. "Some one must have drove a spike through my head." She groaned as she dropped on her butt sitting next to them.Yayoi idk if i need to roll so i'm going to go with it 8'D

"I felt it too. And saw it. Everybody all messed up."
Harrison found Rep's hand, and curled his fingers under it.
"I was just worried. You got knocked out all of a sudden. You were bleeding."

"Has...h...tag?" What...did that even mean, and Abbi seemed to go through so much, how did she stay so strong and cheerful?
"Oh..." Noemi blinked and then looked down, she trusted Stormy and Evan the most, and wanted to please or help them in anyway. Milo told her she was being braver which made her happier, and almost made her feel she was doing better in the field. Perhaps she...she should do more field missions, if Abbi said was true.
If she did more, then she would be better, just like if she helped in the infirmary she would do better.
"White mage?....Esuna?" and now Noemi was super confused. But she was feeling better about things...

Oliver mulled over the pieces, his focus more on his own unsuitable personality than the work in front of him. But Arorangi had some success at fitting the pieces together, and then Lydia as well. He fiddled absentmindedly with the runes. There was a click... but it was quickly followed by a crack, and then there were little pieces of glass vial and glowing green liquid all over his fingers. The trainee yelped loudly and flailed backwards, staring at his hands like they were about to turn into tentacles or zombie-limbs, or something equally horrendous.

It was true, in the chaos and as he realized he really shouldn't, Harland's embrace had only been long enough to ground the Irish Hunter again. He looked at Alistaire with a tired smile, waiting for the rant. The anger that didn't quite make it into Alistaire's words, as there was silence between them and he was dragged suddenly into Alistaire's embrace. Harland's naked arm slid up to press against Alistaire's back and lean his face on Alistaire's head. "I am, yeah. I belong to you, though, so what does that say about ye, mo chroi?" Harland asked, rubbing Alistaire's back reassuringly before Alistaire pulled back.
He nodded, quietly, following Alistaire. He kept Coyote out, watched Alistaire carefully for any threats. First he'd stayed alive, and now he wasn't even in trouble? His hand still felt warm, itchy almost, from where it had held Alistaire's so tight. And then let go.
Time to make antibiotics. He hoped he was any good at it. "Seems like a bit of an odd thing t' have us do," he said aloud, puzzled. As he was making his, or attempting, he looked up at Alistaire and just smiled.

Rep held on. Not because he felt particularly proud about how pathetic he was being right now but because the fact was he needed him before and still needed him now, no matter how apologetic and grieved he felt.
"I heard a voice." he said. "It said I was in its domain. I don't know." He sniffed and it was a pretty horrible combination of blood and everything else.
"Someone told me to wake up." He held Harrison's hand to his lips and kissed it possessively. "I'm sorry. It was all lies. I don't lie to you, I don't hurt you, but it made me do both. And it hurts a lot."

His sketchbook was definitely gone, by now. Long, long gone.
There went some of his recent research notes. Not all his notes, thankfully, but that still kind of sucked-- except it didn't, really, because with hyperthymesia he could just draw it back out again. Good times for Harland.
And, as he tried to focus on making the antidote, he felt around in his pocket suddenly: still there.
Harland took out the neatly folded drawing of Alistaire drinking coffee, unfolded it, smiled, and then folded it back into his pocket again. So worth the smudge he'd put on it to look at that moment again.

Stormy had deja vu for a moment: Paris, Louvre, vacation, Harry Potter. For a moment she was sitting in Gale's kitchen, doodling his kiwi caricature and remembering how to smile. Some of the tension began to leave her shoulders.
And yet the second she picked up a rune it cracked between her fingers and disintegrated. The other was dropped promptly as her hand twitched.
"Wands," Stormy echoed thoughtfully in a low voice, swallowing as she dusted her hands off. "Yeah. I dunno which kind would be mine. We talked about yours, though. Dragon heartstring. Ancient Runes and Arithmancy."
Treading the same lines, soothing herself with memories so she didn't have to deal with the painful present for a few moments. But her melancholic mood remained.
"I should've brought him with us," Stormy whispered to her hands.
---
Meanwhile, Jack learned the hard way that he had not done so well in runic study as he ought to have at this point. Whoops.

Melvin was glad things had settled but with Jordan nearly not even here anymore, he only felt drained more than anything. Every part of him felt too heavy for his body, like his bones were made of rebar but his flesh was too soft and tender to hold it. His stomach hurt.
At the instructions to take everyone to Room C to get cured, he looked to see hunters all on the ground. How close had they come to just being overridden with their own and this mission being written off as one of the failures that some other team would then have to be called in to fix? He didn't like thinking these things. How often had they been called for exactly the same reasons.
He moved to Jordan and placed a hand on him, checking to see if....if he was all there. He seemed to still have a heartbeat and that meant far too much to the Lifer.
Worn, he moved to grab a vial, none-too-shabby with runics himself, and sat down on the ground next to Jordan just to breathe for a moment before he worked to drag the man to the next room.
He just needed to....let his mind piece together.
And so he did a very mundane task to help with that.

When Harlow had finally rejoined their little group Zascha was just starting to come around. At the sound of both the girl's voices his green eyes popped open and he sat straight up. It wasn't until the pain in his arm, side and head hit him that he fell back onto his back once more. To say the least he felt like s**t. His arm still wasn't functioning right and his ears were ringing. Turning his head towards Nellie he managed a weak smile. "For the most part." He laughed but groaned a bit as his side throbbed. His attention turning to Harlow now, a look of concern on his face. Asking if she was ok felt like a dumb question. "I see you finally let your hair down, a shame it was during a fight." He tried to sit up again, placing a hand lightly on her shoulder. "Looks like Nellie here did pretty good in surviving."

Whoa. Evan jumped and recoiled as Heidi turned on him, looking down at her in surprise. "Right," he said, glad that she seemed to be handling herself reasonably well under pressure. "Good reflexes," he added. He looked around for any of the infected that might still need "help," his heart sinking as he saw Sasha and Dakota fighting. He didn't want to get involved in that, but he watched as Sasha took Dakota apart, wincing in sympathy as she kicked the big man in the nuts. It looked like Sasha had just about finished with him, but she was one of the last people Evan wanted to attack--for so, so many reasons. "Let's, uh," he said, grasping Heidi's shoulder to turn her the hell away, "let's find something else to do instead."
