Updated!
Here's all the lineart! If you want to color, just pick one and get to work! You can choose a lineart even if someone else has already colored it. smile
I actually couldn't remember if I'd uploaded my prior up-up-away (baby in the air) so I just uploaded this one in case. I did the extra challenge as well, but didn't know if I had to let the one requesting the oc drawn I was doing it though. CHALLENGE ^ avatar extra v

Did you do two drawings for the day?

I don't remember a "baby in the air" picture, but you've done everything just fine. XD I'm just not sure what's going on. But you're cool, so don't worry about it!

It still remained superman..just the adult variety. Honestly didn't like what I ended up submitting, but I'll..edit it or something.

My lines are TERRIBLE when I try with my tablet (I just can't get them clean), but are just fine when I do them with pens. I've been known to print out a digital sketch in blue, ink it traditionally, scan it back in, drop out the blue sketch, and color digitally. XD
That's still better than me. I can't even do it with a pen because I can't afford high quality pens so I just get a cheap ball point bic or ultrafine sharpies. The ball points suck because they constantly stop working on me or let out too much ink at once which smudges, and then the sharpies always bleed and make the lines too thick and blotchy. I just can't win. emo

If you could save up for a set of Pitt pens, they're not that terribly expensive and do the job pretty well! I mean, they're more than a ballpoint or a sharpie, but still pretty reasonable. There are nicer pens out there but the Pitt pens are a good compromise between quality and price. :3
They do wear out kinda fast, but I use mine extensively and replace my blacks about every two years. I've owned two sets of black, and one of sanguine and one of sepia. My current blacks really need replaced. XP
I also own some Sakura Micron pens, which a lot of people swear by. I like them too, but my Pitts are my primary pens!! Also priced fairly reasonably.

Totally irrelevant to the conversation, but the line art.. the big variety just in case someone is up for a challenge involving burn scars and questionably proportioned ribs. sweatdrop

That's still way more expensive than I normally would spend on pens, but you know what, I'm so sick of the pens I have now I'm kind of at my wits end so I might just go and get these next time I get the chance, thanks for the link. You know, after comparing both of them, I would actually save more one the Sakura ones if I got a package of 4, compared to the Pit ones.

Either one works, and you may be able to find a better price if you shop around. (Although that d**k Blick price is pretty darn good, so maybe not.)
Decent art supplies are very expensive (believe me, I've been looking into what it would cost to buy a good set of watercolors, you can easily drop hundreds on those) but it's one of those things where the real deal is just so much better than the cheap knockoffs. I'm a real cheapskate but I still shell out for decent art supplies.
Fortunately, if you start small (like a set of pens), it's within the realm of most people, even students and people living paycheck-to-paycheck. And while they need replaced eventually, a good collection will last you a very long time. I bought my first PITT pens while supporting myself on minimum wage.
Edit: Oh, and they usually have them at Joann's or Michaels, and those places typically put out 40% off (or more) coupons, so that's another way to get a good deal if you don't want to pay for shipping off the internet. :3

I work at a hotel and I just collect pens from there. 3nodding
