I love gunslingers. Unfortunately, there haven't been many situations I have been able to use it, especially for tournament settings. But you just have to improvise.

Rip Van Wickle from Hellsing pretty much had that Magic Missile Musket. Generally rule of thumb is universally guns don't take much skill and are very fast. Truth be told unless one trains, has the right holding of it and whatnot you won't be headshotting. Its frowned upon but within reason equals the playing field vs some of the powerhouses.

I have expressed this numerous times but I think guns should be treated like any other power. Go the route of the arcade fighter.
The biggest problem of people when it comes to guns is their lethality which I always found funny considering you have people running around shooting plasma and claiming to be far faster then a bullet.
You take away the lethality of a gun and it's speed/lack of effort to wield become a moot point.
And by taking away lethality I mean, leaving the punch of getting hit with a bullet but possibly lessening it's piercing power or some such restriction.

themightyjello Long answer: Before we walk out of that arena something needs to happen to make Heita punch Justice. Otherwise it won't be funny enough. I don't think there will be a problem making this happen. sweatdrop

In my ice skating/fighting tournament, guns will be allowed...
So long as they have the same punch of, well... a punch. Like a jab.
Or maybe just a hard poke.

Colonel Iyam A Heita That may be minimizing too much... but I have the same general idea. Depending on the "power level" of the tourney, I get what you mean. I'd personally only go as high as muskets/flintlocks at a reduced velocity, but then I'd also not be too keen on allowing bows. Then again I'm used to a relatively low power level, and I've realized from the Tres v. Erik fight that my character is probably going to die very quickly but that's aight. No way. Too OP. Nice try, but I know nerf guns can be modded with after market parts. I mean one of those with reinforced springs could seriously ******** up someone's eye! Can't have that in a respectable bloodsport tournament.
