Anise did not like the shouting, but (after a moment of shock at the start), she understood the underlying cause of it. Tensions were high; they were in an unfamiliar place with little supplies, most didn't know each other, the "Captain" who should theoretically be leading them was absent for long periods of time and largely unhelpful, and everyone was worried. Stress and fear made people upset, which sometimes made them lash out. Unfortunately, an analytical view of the situation did little to diffuse it. Various attempts to calm people with words made no impact, and shouting just made things worse. Anise again wished she'd brought Halcyon, or Felix. When pokemon acted like this, she tended to have one of those two use Sing to calm everyone or put them to sleep. As she looked around trying to decide what to do, she spotted a richly-dressed young man with a Skitty. She smiled as an idea struck her, and headed over t the young man. "Excuse me," she said to Eros in as quiet a tone as she figured could still be heard, considering the raised voices all around. "When I encounter pokemon whose tempers are up like this, I usually have my Delcatty use Sing to quiet them down. Since I don't have him with me today, perhaps your Skitty might be willing to do the same?"

Eros was still angry, and his mouth remained fixed in a petulant frown, but the explosive rage of a few minutes ago was beginning to subside. He stroked Dido along her arched back, and she relaxed very slightly, keeping a close eye on their antagonist. With a hand resting in the Skitty's fur, Eros turned quizzically toward Anise. He recognized her as someone who'd been helping with their journal puzzle, and she was certainly far more polite than many of their reluctant companions. "Would Sing work on humans?" the boy asked, shooting a somewhat malicious glance back at Cai. He certainly wouldn't mind seeing that one sleeping... with the Magikarp.

Gepardo had stayed quiet during the fight, he knew form his siblings that it was easier to let children get through rather then manhandle them into behaving. He blinked at the question. "Some moves can affect humans, such as Sleep, Poison, specially gas types, Illusion, there is even some cases of Hypnosis. It does seem to take the pokemon more effort to put a human under a...let say 'status' then it would another pokemon. Children are more likely to fall under then full grown adults. Legendaries have enough power at their disposal to even put a whole group of people to Sleep or an Illusion." He tilted his head. "Why the question?" [unless I am overstepping here? Most status moves do seem to work on humans as far anime, and some cases in the games]

Katori rolled his eyes at all the yelling "This just aint getting anyone anywhere, If anyone has a better idea than finding out what the hell is going on ... fine, go make your own group... us ehre are trying to find out what happened to make these pokemon act the way they did ... to find out WHY they landed us here in the first place" He gritted his teeth against an anger flaring in his belly. "Now, if you're not going to help, then just shut the hell up" he snarled at whoever decided to continue the yelling. There really was NO point ..
He turned to the others in his group that WERE being helpful "now, sooner we figure out what the heck happened, the sooner we c'n get outta here, so who's got the rest o'the pages then?" he said, frowning at the pages.

Alastyn twitched like a fly had landed on him, and his ears flicked back. Correctly interpreting this to mean he had had enough of her fussing, Fifi quickly packed away her things. With a sigh, she walked back over to the pages. Most of them seemed to be in order. Looking at the last two, Fifi considered the options. "Well, this one talks about breeding pokemon for food, so it must have come after the one where he caught and ate a buneary, right? I think it goes right after this one," Fifi said, placing the breeding page after the page where he first ate a buneary. Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 Page 5 ??? Page 6 Left over page: (Come on, somebody help a girl out! XD )

Vana decided to ignore what was left of the argument, it wasn't like arguing would help save them. She looked around at the pieces that were left, it looked like they were making good progress it seemed that the pages were all together and all that was left was one page left out of place. "Hmm I think this one is the last one before the blood covered piece since it seems that the last bit was written in a hurry and he seems to have realized that inbreeding isn't the problem?" She said placing the piece in its spot. Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 Page 5 Page 6

Eros shook off the idea of trying to put everyone to sleep, as tempting as it was. "It's complete!" he declared, looking over the arrangement of parchment. "How very clever of you, Miss Vana. Now we should be able to see what the Celebi wanted me-- I mean, us, to do."

Cara smiled. They had all the pieces put together, and they were in order! She decided to ignore the argument, she didn't care who started it and she wasn't going to be a part of it any further, it wasn't helping anything. The important thing was that they had the journal pieces all put back together and sorted out. She rolled her eyes at the 'fancy-pants' kid who was being very conceited, there was no pleasing some people. "Ok now that that is done, ....what do we do?"

"...Look for the reminds of a corpse or skeleton that looks nearly human, and burned it?" Gepardo muttered darkly as he finish reading the pages in their correct order. "We got back to the ship, that's what we do. We have no idea where this cure is, or what it looks like. Unless you know how to get the smears off that last page, we are better off going to the ship and see what we can find there. See if the pokemon are okay, and then try to make contact with the rest of the world. It's a whole ship, if someone can make a coconut radio, we can damn sure make one out of a damn airship."

Vana looked around at the group when suddenly something dawned on her. "What ever happened to Mr. Machete?" She asked remembering the guy who had lead them to airship. "Did anyone see him get on the ship?" She hadn't seen him on the ship, it was weird like the guy had just vanished after he head led them to the spot.

Eros looked thoughtful for a moment, but then shrugged. "I have not seen hide nor hair of him since we reached the ship; I don't know if he ever boarded. I can't say I'm eager to see him again, in any case." Dido strutted over to inspect the laid-out journal scraps, sniffing in distaste at the bloody smear on the last one.

____________Ch . 11 : Cure
The pages were in order, though some dates were missing or never written, you got a gist of what had happened to the writer of the entries. That was a nice history lesson and all, but if you were in the future, this was not getting you any closer back to your own time. And if you were in the future, trying to get back to the shipwreck was pointless. There could be no shipwreck, since you had no idea how far into the future you traveled. There was nothing in this desert that could be used to indicate the passing of time. How frustrating.
Where was the Captain while everything was happening? He had kept a swift pace from the beginning and didn't look back. He was probably where the location of the shipwreck should have been by now, and wondering how years of decay had happened upon his ship.
You look over the scraps once more, inspecting every inch of them for some sort of clue. Nothing. You flip one over and-- what was that? Could it be a house? The markings were faint, but they were there. A house, a few trees, a line drawn from the house to...
You flip over the next scrap of paper. The line from the first page continued. After flipping all the pages over, a map was revealed. The other end of the line was the drawing of a square. What could that be? It didn't seem far from here, maybe a few yards away to the east and four trees in between.
You decide to check it out. There was nothing else at the camp that pointed to a possible way out of this mess.
(( Reactions post. Follow the trail! ))

"Of course there is a map.. Why wouldn't it be a map? Mappity map map map." Gepardo rubbed at his face, feeling a bit sarcastic. "No offence, but it doesn't this feel like a trap to anyone? I mean, who the hell draws a map in random pages of a journal?"
He sighed and looked at the map, giving it a few pokes. "The sun is int hat direction, therefore our death await in that one." He pointed before he began walking, muttering darkly to himself.
