He stuck his board in the sand and left it so it wouldn't have to be carried. It was starting to get late in the day, and the sun was starting to sink very slowly in the sky. He walked next to her, the soft sound of sand being displaced hitting his ears with each step. It matched the rhythm of the ocean waves and the light breeze. It was peaceful, even on a crowded beach, though the people were starting to thin as they got further away from the resort.
"Have you had fun swimming?"

"You didn't even want to check out the forests?" Kiah asked curiously, not surprised that he'd been keeping to himself. So far, the short time that she'd been able to explore the wooded area had been the only highlight of her time at the resort, which was pretty sad compared to how much fun everyone else seemed to be having. Walking alongside Kanda seemed to put her at ease, grateful that he was there with her as the sounds of the ocean slowly became more defined.
At his question she paused, head hanging in shame. "I would have... if I could actually swim..."

((Haha, Makes perfect sense to me XD I remember in Chamber of Secrets when they had to follow the spiders ron asked 'Why can't it be 'follow the butterflies' XD I was cracking up at that one.))
