Let me rephrase that. If I pick the Talon-class then can I use some sort of hyperdrive capable fighter carrier craft, (the Thranta-class being the smaller of the two listed for hauling the Talon-class) as the backdrop for a lot of my posts. Or would it be better if I used a ground base i.e. Echo Base, Area-88, to fly out from? Or should just scrap the Talon-class and ask for the Defender-class instead?

Why not just get yourself a hyperdrive ring? They had those before the current date, and you could probably find one to fit a talon.

I'm gonna point out, K, that the Talon has an unusual setup. The wings have a hinge point near the cockpit. In docking or in transit. the wings are kept folded in against the nose of the fighter, giving it a profile similar to a Jedi Starfighter or A-wing. In combat these wings fold out into the attack position as seen in the picture.

A swing-wing to save deck space in the hanger bays, makes sense for a mass-produced carrier based fighter. Still not to keen on a hyperdrive ring to bring me into combat, would be nice for recon or infiltration, but I’d rather fly from a capital ship. I could pick a ship from someone who already has fighter support with them and just fly off that ship.

That probably wouldn't happen until chapter 2. You give that other fighter a look at? The Plug 6?

Sayla, would you be against me getting involved in this little party you got going, I have time to kill before I have to reach the mountain. An atmospheric firefight sounds fun.

Here, K. Can't find much info on it other than what I've gleaned from playing the game. Cale Darksun Ok, from everything I've been able to dig up about the SWTOR era, about the only real hyperspace capable fighter out there is the Plug 6 heavy. You see it in almost as many places as those shuttles, and unlike them they're armed with decent armor, guns, and shields, plus they seem to be the defacto transport vehicle for the fringe element.

We'll consider it when we have the full profile atm. Right now, at least I, don't know quite the flavor you're going for.

Waiting on Cale, unless he's waiting on someone else.
I don't have anything to do until the current scene moves forward.

And I posted. Unless someone wants Cinn to step in and crush something, chances are he's just going to head to the station.

Here's another fighter. I believe the name for it is the Raven Class Bomber.
