 Amelia nodded in agreement. She knew that to be true. She opened her book once more, trying to finish reading it, instead of letting the worry in the class overwhelm her.

Meiko's worries faded as she thought repeatedly in her head while leaning back in her chair. "Aludra is strong... after overcoming the tasks in the Tri - Wizard Cup, I know she'll be alright. Oh, I can't wait to see the twins~~"
She started to smile as she felt eager to see the newborn twins of her dear friend, Aludra. Meiko turned her head to Amelia and asked with her usual smile on. "So Ammy, how do you like Hogwarts?"

Ammy, grateful for the distraction grinned, "It's amazing! I bet it'll take me all seven years to find everything here. And the classes, I'm learning so much!" She loved learning--that did not mean even remotely that she liked school, having not learned much during her earlier years, but Hogwarts was different.

Amelia frowned a little, "Yeah, there was that girl in Care of Magical Creatures, but she was nice to me later in Potions..." she scrunched up her face thinking, "I mean, it makes no sense; what's wrong with muggles? They might not have magic, but their technology is catching up with our magic. Plus from what I can tell they really outnumber us." She shook her head, not understanding the concept of hatred without a reason. "I just guess I'll never understand," she mumbled.

Amelia nodded, "I miss mine," She truly did; back home it was rare for her to be without it. "I was shocked to find that it didn't work here." she commented, shaking her head. The anti-technology barrier that was here was fairly depressing, "I even miss doing homework on my laptop." Which had made typing up the few reports she had to do much easier.

Amelia nodded eagerly, ”I’ve never felt so clueless before. At least at home I could research stuff on my own so I’d understand as much as possible.” Ammy was the type of person who learned with the whole picture in mind. And usually to get all those facts, she’d have to look them up on her own.

"I know what you mean, but you'll get used to it sooner or later... when I was a 1st year, I had the same problems." Meiko said with her usual smile, reminiscing her earlier years in the school. Then, she gave a light chuckle. "Not to mention getting lost in the revolving staircases..."

Amelia laughed nodding, "I don't take them anymore--I can't convince them to go the right way." She took shortcuts instead, the few she'd found, which provided her with routes to avoid the dreaded staircases. "I still get lost though, I'm gonna-" she cut herself off, deciding to leave out the bit about the getting a map. "use the Four-Point spell for a while I think." Which was still a true statement; for a while until she got a map.
