*Witchblade reacts in creating three sharp tendrils of metal that swiftly scratch James's hand then retract back into the bracelet.*

James reels back, yanking at the stuff on his face. He crashes into Evan.
"Ach, watch it, ye-"
"MMmmph! Mmmppphhh!"
Len, the boys' leader stands up. He walks up to Achilles and regards him coldly.
"You put your hands on one of my guys. Don't do it again."
Wally sticks out a leg and trips James onto the ground while everyone is staring at Len and Achilles.
"Jerk. Keep your hands off my girl."

She looks at the boys who caused the trouble..

Len doesn't flinch, despite Achilles having a few inches in height on him. He just stares coldly into Achilles' eyes.
"You're on the football team. The others call you 'killer.'"
Len cracks...not quite a smile...more like a snarl.
"I'm on the second string. If you get injured, I take your place. Stay healthy..."killer." Wouldn't want to see you freeze on the field."
Len reaches into his coat. At the table, Hartley suddenly clears his throat.
"Guys. Remember? Turning over a new leaf?"

Seeing the guy was aiming a boomerang at her she lassoed him and sent a light bolt of lighting to him.. Not enough to cause any serious damage just enough to let him know she wasn't one to be taken lightly..

Boomer shook from the shock, sending a dozen boomerangs falling out of his coat, clattering on the floor. Evan and James stood behind him, seething. Len stood his ground against Achilles as Hartley stood up.
"Right. We're out of here."
He put a hand on Len's shoulder and pulled him back.
"Guys, I didn't bring my flute. Let's just get out of here. We can resolve this...issue...later."
