I don't ever heed people's opinions about my avatar unless I solicit them. As for the clue, perhaps the weapon was disposed there...or perhaps not. :/ The 'garbage' part throws me off, honestly.

Maybe the murder weapon was something they found in the garbage instead....since you'd have to be a moron to just leave the weapon in the dumpster near the crime scene.
