Exceed didn't respond as he finished making his iron greaves before he looked to the doctor as he shook his head. "Replacing ones body parts that hold imperfections... for something that you wish to be perfect in every way..." He started as he looked at his leg before finishing up the final touches , extending it to go a bit above the knee to see if it would work. "It makes you lose your humanity... more and more until you yourself is just an emotionless work machine." He told the doctor softly as he looked away.

"I care to disagree. I'm a work machine as just a human. And it's not perfection. A mechanical limb is no where near perfections. It can rust. It can weigh you down. And it can be your utter downfall. The mechanist I mentioned earlier, the robot. Some years ago a man who had control of electricity cast the metal machninist into an abyss without touching him. He used his power to do so. No, I wouldn't replace my own limbs. What I want to do, is make them better through genetic make up. I want to alter bodies to make them stronger. Eventually, I'll be able to do so. But till then, I'll keep my body as is. But if you ever get the idea to chop off a limb, I'd be happy to perform the surgeory for you. And even more happy to grow you a limb back." he said, tinkering with the pads on his leg. He wondered if he could really do so.
Exceed didn't respond once more as he waited for him to begin moving his leg to see if the syncronization of his leg with his Iron Graeves would work. After about a minute of waiting, Exceed looked at him and soon said, "You tell that to the mechanists of Fraxen Professor." He told the man, a sad tone in his voice making it obvious he didn't want to stay on the topic of limb replacement anymore.

After sitting back down, cheeks puffed and pushed away a single sliver of platinum hair that fell over her face. The entire time she listened, not responding to any of their conversation that entailed limb removal and manipulation. It was a terrible talk, her features strained to remain passive, their usual calm facade. While they could not see such an aspect flow across her lips, they would hear the softest of laughs escape from under her breath. "Either way, you should both be careful."
Her elbow pressed to the desk, chin perched in a single milky palm. "Imperfect beings produce imperfect things."
With a slight tilt, her smile reappeared. Nothing is perfect.

Wax moved his leg back and forth, moving his foot in counter clockwise rotations. "No worries Lady Alex. I'll be fine. Just my routine experiments. With some variants of course. I'll most likely begin on them when I get done helping Exceed." He always found himself in awe when Alex spoke. He'd yet to figure out why either. "I know your pain Exceed. Trust me."
Seeing the leg begin to move thanks to Doctor Wax's movements, he smiled and did the final adjustments before he opened the back, sliding the greaves onto his feet. Once he closed the backs, he made sure the inner shock patches were working, he began to move it more freely as he soon stood up. "Everything is imperfect... I agree." He responded to the captain as he moved around with the greaves before he stopped and soon both the arms and the greaves retracted into both bracelets and anklets. Sure, it was girly, but it was well disguised to hold his equipment to summon them. (Tool Tinkering: Legs Created)
"Hm... captain, may I get to work on making a helper for myself?"

She rose, like a bird in flight, taken to the wind in silent foot falls which compared to everyone else, would have been old, however, no one noticed. Gradually she shed the armor plating, each piece laid on the desk in a neat pile. She also laid to rest her bow and quiver, the arrows clanging as they were shifted. Finally, she was just in her normal garb of a simple long sleeve white tunic and brown leather pants with matching boots. The same leather wrapped around each shoulder and suspended the two holstered broadswords that criss-crossed over her spine between shoulder blades. "Good, I'd hate for you to change." Alex looked directly at the Doctor, smiling coyly. Then she nodded, retorting to Exceed. "Of course. You both should get busy, I'm sure you have things to do."
Finally, a stoic stare focused on Caleb. "Well, I'm glad to see you made it back. Follow me, please."
Without further commentary, she turned, walking right past him and around a corner, away from the two. She stopped in front of a small door, it looked like it could lead to a simple broom closet with nothing more than some cleaning supplies. On the contrary, milky tendrils turned the knob and opened it wide for Caleb to view the contents. An arsenal of equipment. Most of it it tattered, batted down with dents and dings. Still, there was a lot, the walls neatly aligned with hanging swords of different sizes, shields, battle axes, and other such training equipment.
"Tada! I know, I know. Pretty impressive for a pile of old gear. Now..."
Alex stepped inside, her words trailing off as she did so until she looked back to him from the door frame.
"Here is the cleaner and rags."
Stepping out once more, she laid the bottle and cloth between his armor and chest. "Get to it. Let me know when you are done and I will come inspect them all. Don't doddle all day though, we have plans, you and I."
At the last of her response, she had already began to walk back to the central part of the office, leaving Caleb to do his work alone and in peace.

Wax froze yet again. This time, his arms were locked, his head was cocked back, and he looked like he was getting ready to be mauled. He squeaked "Thank you.... Lady.... Alex...." His face was stuck in the surprised position. He though Alex, in her armor was beautiful, but Alex without it, was astounding. He couldn't understand why this happened to him. Was it something about her? Was there some sort of magic or manipulation he missed? Or was it the cause of being locked away under his work for so many years that would cause this occurrence every time a pretty woman walked around. He wondered if he would ever get use to it. After a moment, he finally settled. "I'll catch you later Exceed. I have experiments and complicated stuff to go do..." he said, with a big gulp. He stood up, and walked to his bookcase where the lab was. He opened it and slid right in. He sat down at his desk with beakers galore, and rested there. Leafayette found his way to Wax's shoulders, and rubbed the side of Wax's mask trying to comfort him.

'Exceed' Bladed Gunner ╔══════════════╗
Exceed smiled before he pulled out a blue paper, which was of course, blueprints, and began to pull out various items left and right from his bag. He pulled out two chainsaws, which got the vines a bit worried before he began to work on the framework of his dog. As he did so, the vines helped him out with rags and keeping sweat from his eyes and handing him tools to work with. (1/4, just because I want to. XD)
Exceed got the framework all said in done as he soon moved to the table to begin working on the programming schematics to install. As he was doing so, the vines were setting up the metallic skin cover for the dog on the floor so he'd have easier access to them and to attach it all together. Once he got the program settings all done, he got to work on the inner parts of the wolf. With the frame, skinset, and programming all done, he has to make sure that the innards function properly. (2/4)
Exceed opened up the frame and began to set up the insides, getting the materials inside and moving some of them manually to see if a part would move. Once he moved a cog wheel in a circle, he noticed the paw it was attached to actually move up and down. He smiled and continued to work on the insides, it seemed quite skinny, that was until he put in the chainsaws and made the iron wire claw tail. (3/4)
Once the insides were all build, the frame completely closed, Exceed began to put the metal covers, making sure it was all fused together using his fire techniques. Once the skin covers were all complete, he opened up the skull of his wolf and placed in the info cartridge into the slot, closing it afterwards. The eyes on his wolf began to glow a bright yellow before it moved it's head up and released a vocalized howl into the air. Exceed smiled and began to pet it's head as it sat down and looked to him. "I'll call you... Moko." He told the wolf before it leaned in and used it's metallic tongue to lick his cheek before Exceed laughed a bit. (4/4 Moko Mk. IV created)

Caleb sighed as he eyed the exuberant amount of equipment. This was going to take awhile. He placed his stuff down and got to work. He started on the armor, he grabbed a helm. Dipping the rag into the polish he went to scrubbing.
After about an hour he had finished the armor pieces even his own. He even shined up the shields. Now to work on the weapons, the bladed ones where notched to all hell. Caleb sighed at the abuse, he retrieved the whetstone from his pack and got to work.
He started off grinding out the nicks in the blades. Only flattening the the folds on the nicks. After he finished he went on the polish them. Careful not to cut himself one the new edge. Each was clear enough to see himself in. Hopefully this was good enough for Alex.
After coming back to the desk, Doc was already in his lab and Exceed was busy with tinkering. Alex went through several more papers before coming across a particular one. One that was going to be her next task to inquire about, it was only rumors but still, wouldn't hurt to check it out.
It was in no time that Caleb finished his work, probably by cutting corners, it was no matter though.
Alex moved to the bookshelf and pried back the spine of a single leathered book, giving way to Doc. "I'm going out, so feel free to venture around or train. The Royal Guard, Kain, should stop by. Who really knows? He is probably slummin' since I took his position...but..just letting you know." The nephilim stuck her head back around the open aperture. "You too, Exceed." Turning back with a mischievous smirk, auric spheres fell upon the masked man once more. "If you want, well if I can find it, we can all go there later. I'm sure you'd like it. Anywayyy, the dojo and library are both open and I'm leaving. Take care!" Alex backed away and excitedly moved around the office with haste, to step to the closet that Caleb was in.
"Alright, congrats. You just did an E rank mission. For now though, you are going to be an escort so come on. We need to go shopping first." Gilded gazes peered at him, shaking her head slightly. "Leave your gear. It will be a dead give away as to who you are. Recon is the goal and I'd rather keep my head. So chop-chop!"
