- Carter smiled as Jazz agreed to continue craft nights. It was one of her favorite things to do here, plus it had almost nothing to do with what she wanted to be when she grew up, so it was nice to have a hobby. Honestly, though, Jazz was the best part of it all. Carter loved hanging out with them and had learned a lot, including some about gender identity and not fully feeling right in the body you have. Carter liked that Jazz was different, so when they pulled her into a firm hug, she couldn't help but smile into her shoulder.
"I can't wait to see you again. She pulled them tighter to her, not wanting to let go, but finally let Jazz go after some time. "Besides! I can do email. Unlike some purebloods here, I was raised by a Muggle granddad. Honestly, I think he will be happy to hear I made friends." Carter paused and smiled her grin at Jazz. "So, do you want to start this craft night? Papa also sent some stationery and pens for me."
