I replied, "Cooking nihon soba." That's when I offered, "I can make you some if you want, Hotaru. Besides, we did have a bumpy start at the morning."

I watched Akira for a moment then nodded. "I suppose so..." I said carefully. His comment could mean several different things so I had to be extra careful now.

I looked at the saucepan that was now boiling. I went back to the kitchen and took off the lid. I got two packs of nihon soba and gently dropped them into the boiling water. I set my watch to time the cooking. That's when I thought, 'You know who I really am, don't you, Hotaru... Or perhaps I should call you Sailor Saturn?'
To try and keep that thought from bubbling to my mouth, I decided to open up to Hotaru a little bit more. I said, "You know, I used to partake in various dance competitions before my sister died."

I looked at Akira surprised. "Really?" I asked. "What kind?" This was something new. To be honest Akira doesn't really strike me as the type to dance but then again I don't really know him.

I replied, while stirring the nihon soba. "Traditonal dance competitions. And new-school dancing. When it comes to traditional dances, I excelled at the waltz, so I'm good if I'm ever invited to a masquerade ball. And when it comes to new-school dancing, I was the Tokyo break-dancing champion known as Firefly. And yes, this was way before I got my butt saved by Saturn, and before my teacher's passing."

I had never been to a masquerade before but Michiru-mama told me that they were fun...I nodded and smiled. "Sounds interesting." I said. "Michiru-mama taught me how to waltz. Sometimes Haruka-papa will waltz with me if I beg her enough..."

I sighed, "I felt alive when I was dancing. Maybe I should start dancing again. I retired from dancing when I heard Natsume passed away. I still have much money from the competitions that I won in, and I use that to help the non-profit organizations all over Tokyo. Even before Natsume and Takeshi died, I've helped non-profit organizations before. My father and Takeshi both taught me to fight for what's important to me. And to make the future brighter for everyone, and to protect the people I care for, that's my reason to fight."
That's when I winced, "I just sounded like a soldier."

"Sailor Senshi..." I mused absently. I caught myself quickly and tagged on the words "sounds much better instead of a plain soldier." I smiled a bit and prayed that he didn't notice what I had actually implied. "Ne, Akira-kun could you teach me?" I asked.

(Shinichi)
I replied, "I have to agree. Akira, you're reminding me of a cross between Sailor Saturn and Kenshin Himura."
(Akira)
The noodles were done, and I grabbed the two bowls.
At Shinichi's comment, I replied, "How so?"
(Shinichi)
As I watched Akira give Hotaru one bowl, and place the other bowl near the seat where he was going to eat, I replied, "Like Kenshin, both of you know how to use a weapon and are seemingly unbeatable when wielding one. However, you're a bit more kind and warm than Saturn, like Kenshin. Unless when your friends are hurt. And hoo boy, can Akira ever get serious when that happens. I swear, he turns into a Battosai-like figure when that occurs!"
(Akira)
I replied, while getting the soba sauce out of the fridge. "I suppose so."
That's when I got two sets of chopsticks for me and Hotaru to eat. I gave one set of chopsticks and the sauce to Hotaru. I said, "You get the sauce first."
And as to Hotaru's question, I replied and sweatdropped, "It's been a while since I last waltzed but I'm not that rusty... And I did have a dream where I was waltzing with Saturn once..."

I sat there and watched the two of them. I laughed in response to Akira's comment. "I meant the break-dancing..." I said. I poured a little sauce. "Shinichi-senpai can I get you anything?" I asked looking over at him.

I replieid, "Oh, sure, I still break-dance, though not by much... I guess I'm not exactly your typical glaive-wielding, sooccer playing, violin playing, dancing genius with an IQ of 180..."
That's when I sighed, "I will say the I do obsess a bit about Saturn much, but that is due to my having an honest and true respect for her... And she does indeed rock. At least I like her for the right reasons..."
(Shinichi)
I replied, "Yeah, I'm in the mood for a little nihon soba as well..." That's when I giggled, "You had a dream where you waltzed with Saturn?"
(Akira)
I shot back, "Hey, at least I have my heart set on one girl..."

I nodded in understanding. "Yes, that's a given." I said in response to Akira's first comment. When Shinichi said he wanted some I nodded and got down to make him some. "It'll only be a few minutes." I stated. I gathered the things and started to get it ready. I smiled a bit as I heard the conversation between Akira and Shinichi.

Haruka
I opened the door the house. I was exhausted from the race and then the drive home wasn't much fun. I dropped my gear by the door and kicked my shoes off. I ran a hand through my blonde hair and walked into the house. "Hotaru? Michiru? Setsuna?" I called. I heard male voices and instantly ran to them. "Who are you?" I demanded looking at the two.

I said, "Haruka Tenoh, I presume? Hi, I'm Akira Kido, Hotaru's classmate."
(Shinichi)
I replied, "And I am Shinichi Ishida, Hotaru's other classmate." That's when I sighed, "You really should consider joining the F1 circuit with the way that you drive in video games, Kira-kun."
(Akira)
I laughed, "Just because I have a lead foot...? Come on, Shinichi, at least I don't get my driving techniques from Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift."

"Haruka-papa!" I cried excitedly as I raced out of the kitchen and threw my arms around her. I hadn't seen Haruka in a long time. "You're home! You're home!"
