A slow song starts to play. "Umm... I've never danced with anyone before." She said blushing.
"Could you show me what to do?"

IC: Places her hands around his neck, and stares in his eyes.

"Get a girl jealous? I never thought you could be so lame," Wanda told Lance while rolling her eyes. "Pyro should burn you for this and I'll gladly help him if I wasn't busy my---" She forgot the rest of her sentence when she saw Freya dancing alone on the floor dance.

The blond one was actually having fun. After leaving the x-kids to their conversations, she jumped on the dance floor and danced wildly. Wanda slapped her forehead. She didn't know if Freya was aware her dancing didn't fit her outfit. Since the front of the dress was cut short, moving too much could lift it just enough to see the underwear. Though Freya's dress lift but didn't went up to that, Wanda was still feeling embarrassed to see the blond being stared at by the boys for the sole purpose of seeing her underwear. She could even see Duncan from afar, staring at her while the others girls threw her death glares.

Did Freya care? Not at all. She was having the time of her life and nothing could disturb her.

"Can someone explain to me how she passed the entrance without being arrested?" muttered Wanda to herself. And she saw Freya smiling. Wanda groaned. "Why am I even asking that? That angelic face can have anything she wants..."

ooc: see here in lies pietros TRUE mutant power. The power to make everyone elses entrance look like a kindergarten attention stunt.

Noko shook her head watching freya" hey shes having fun. I guess thats good. " she said noticing kitty watching lance" your being watched handsom. And not by pyro. Lets dance.." she said taking lances arm and heading out to the dance floor as a slow song came on. Noko figured that would keep freya from dancing to wildly. Though a wink at john through the window she hoped would appease him. She stole a glance at kitty before putting her arms around lance's neck and dancing rather close with him. At the same time she sent soothing thoughts to john, mostly what she used to put him to sleep. Soon she noticed him closing his eyes and fall over sound asleep on the grass.

ooc: ..... *bursts out laughing* so that's pietro's real power!!!

Lance grinned some but watched Kitty as he danced with noko. He hoped that she was getting jealous and would dump her date soon... "Good move. This could get way too personal and I really don't want to be cooked..."

Regina smiled at the couples and turned to Kurt. "Dance?"

"But of course." Kurt led her out to the floor for the slow dance.

Gen and Bobby could be seen dancing. Gen wasn't entirely sure on the whole situation but she wasn't about to push him away though her dancing was a bit rigid compared to everyone else that was comfortable with their dates.

..BACK AT THE INSTITUTE

"Ahab, who let that goddamn loon into the program?" Porter said in disgust talking to an old contact he had from his days in a 'government program.'

"They're all insane, Pix. That's all I have for you. Don't contact me on this channel again. Security is upped these days," The guy said and closed the communication. Pix was a random codename his conact gave him incase anything came up. It had nothing to do with anything.

Porter knew of Ahab. He had read about him a long time ago. He was a science master in genetics. Very smart guy gone insane. As all things go, his experimenting got into a vicious cycle when he became interested in mutants. A mutant donated their body to science so he studied it. Apparently somebody took offense. A mutant attack on his lab later left Ahab without one leg and a severely damaged arm. Half mechnical, the man went mad. Last Porter knew he was locked way in a government insane asylum. Guess they needed his insane genious afterall...

Apparently instilling the fear of god on some people get you a lot of information. Porter wasn't proud that's how he knew of Ahab but he was a diffrent person back then. He had just been looking for the answer to why he was selected for the program and was given a whole other chunk of change instead. But that is, as they say, another story.

As he sat in the elevator to take his information to the war room, Porter spoke to himself, "I never have to remind myself again why I took this job. It's to protect these kids from these mad men. At least I can help save a few lives."

For a second, he reconsidered his opting out of joining the X-Men completely. Walking into the War Room, he put his papers on the table in front of Xavier, "Professor, we have a problem."

"You're telling me," Scott Summers said coming into the War Room after him. Porter hadn't expected Cyclops to come in and caught his line of sight. No effect. How strange to be in a place where there are people protected against me. Must be the visor. That's okay. I have other resources if ever there was a situation to arrise like this in a fight.

"What did you both find?" Xavier asked looking at Porter's papers as Porter explained what he and his contact knew. Summers frowned and went on what they saw at the base, "He's aparently back in the game, then. The base looked like to be a giant prison for mutants. He has successfully turned mutants into what is like dogs... they seem to live to obey. We only saw them from a distance so we have no knowledge of their abilities..."

Xavier folded his hands and leaned on them in thought for a moment, "We will have to act then to stop this before it becomes a threat to all mutants. We will reconvene in five hours. Scott and Jonothan, please stay so we can devise our course of action."

Porter stopped and was going to protest his being lumped in with the X-Men, "Sir, I want to reconsider your offer."

"I know," Xavier said, "I never removed you from the roster."

After a time, Regina made her way over to Penny and Jacen. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything important..."

"Not yet." Penny teased, looking at Jacen. "What's up?"

"I've got a really uneasy feeling lately. The shadows are in an uproar." Regina began. "Something evil is slinking around, almost using them as cover and they don't like it."

"Might want to let Jean know since she's playing Chaperone... or we could handle it ourselves..." Penny said softly, looking around. She too was aware of the unease. At least for the mutants of the area.
