Shevaun was in so much pain she couldn't speak, she felt as if she was burning throughout her entire body.

Shevaun tried to drink but couldn't stop wreathing and thrashing, screaming as the burning continued and got stronger. "Master Lucian, is there anything I can do to help?" butler asked worriedly.

Shevaun bit down, but for some reason there wasn't any blood, she then realized she wasn't piercing his skin.
