And hilariously, Gorum was drunk. Such a powerful swing had made the poor dwarf stagger, to the point that Xue missed him. "Woah... that was close." Gorum said, spinning round to take another horizontal slice at Xue before the Beast had enough time to realize he'd missed and figure out where Gorum was.

Xue had put all his force into the pounce, sure the dwarf would have been hit, of course he hadn't thought that he might be drunk. Xue didn't land on his feat, he hit the floor then rolled and skidded down the aisle. he quickly scrabbled to his feet and felt the back of his foot touching somthing metal, his sword. Giving his sword an almighty tug he pulled it from the ground and readied it " TIME TO DIE!" he barked

Throngar, finishing his meat pie, went up to the bar and made his order. "Draft of mead, guv'nor," he requested and promptly received it. Taking a long swig, he turned round and surveyed the bar. It was a typical rowdy place, as one would expect given that the day was beginning to draw to a close now. We'd better not linger here too long, Throngar thought to himself. He then noticed Luna's discomfort, well-masked thought it was. "You don't have to say in here if you want," he offered to her helpfully. "You seem a little out of sorts in here, to tell the truth. Not your sort of place?"

Xue snarled at Gorum and ran forward slicing low and horizontally at Gorum, around Gorum's chest hieght.

"Alright, see you in a minute," Throngar replied before taking another long draft of his drink.

As Luna left, the bartender leaned over towards Throngar. "Say," he began in that tone halfway between conversational and conspiratorial which always accompanies the spreading of rumours in the faux-casual manner of one who doesn't want to admit he's apprehensive. "You seem like a tough fellow. You thinking of going to the Arena?"

"If you mean fighting there, I can't," Throngar informed him gruffly, draining his flagon. "I'm a Mage, not a Warrior." He squinted at the man suspiciously. "Why? What business is it of yours?"

"Oh, none really," the bartender answered, just a tad defensive. "I was just wondering if you'd heard about Arcticurius."

"Nope," Throngar denied. "Been off-continent for decades. Who is he?"

"A guy who's been fighting at the Arena lately. Wins a lot of fights. All of them in fact, from what I've heard." The man hesitated, clearly coming to the crux of his gossip. "They say he's part-Bleck," he added at last in a slightly more hush tone.

Now that caught Throngar's attention. "Say what?" he barked, slightly louder than he meant to. Lowering his voice again before the rest of the pub could get suspicious, he leaned in a little closer to the barman and affirmed fiercely, "That's impossible! You don't get 'part-Blecks'! They don't breed with humans!"

"Says you," the barman argued back. "Can't know that, can you?" He leaned back away from Throngar and snorted. "Anyway, that's just what I've heard, like I say."

Throngar turned away, frowning as he considered that. Hrrm... this guy doesn't know what he's talking about... it's probably nothing. Still, maybe I should look into it anyway... just in case...

He was interrupted by that voice in his ear again. "Say," the man propositioned entrepreneurially. "Seeing as I gave you that tip, maybe you could give me a little extra on the fe-"

"Oh piss off," Throngar growled, slamming his gold down for the drink, and not a penny more, assertively. He then marched off out of the bar, brow furrowed as he thought about what he had heard. He emerged visibly distracted into the light of the fading day.

Hitomi noticed Jinx standing outside the Inn and asked her "do you like Bryce by any chance"?

"Well...... I keep seeing the way that you look at him, then I see the way you look at me. If you think I like Bryce then forget it, we are just friends so don't hate me because you think I like Bryce because I don't". Hitomi answered. Hitomi then asked politely "so can we be friends"? Hitomi held her hand up for Jinx to shake.

"Alright, ladies, let's get running!" Throngar suddenly bellowed at the pair of them. He then turned and gave Luna a pleasant nod. "Luna, if you want to come back with us, be my guest. If not, until we meet again." That said, he returned his attention to Hitomi and, more particularly, Jinx. "Come on then! We've got a long run ahead of us if we want to get back by nightfall!"
