xx Anues -- AliceAlice looked back between the two curiously. Her attention in that fight hardly fanned out at all. Anues merely nodded along as Ethfael spoke. He eventually smiled slightly as the Dragonair finished. “Saved is a strong word. I’m glad she’s okay.” Quite the open minded Pikachu too. Alice blinked as she made the connection with the conversation at hand. Anu was there for that fight? The Kirlia smiled at nothing in particular at the thought of him actually doing such things. Her expression neutralized, taking advantage of her brother’s distraction to look him over. “I imagine she’s thinking straight now?” The Gardevoir sat straight, giving a curious look at Ethfael. Anues himself was still separating his own thoughts from Era’s and he never exactly finished the job. “Anues,” His ears twitched and his attention promptly fell on Alice. “What happened to your plate?” Anues took a moment to process the question. Right… “A fight, simplified.” Memories weren’t really something he liked the option of looking back on. Namely this one. Alice figured as much. Anues met Ethfael’s gaze again.
“I best be going then.” “Where to?” “Someone I prefer not to leave alone for too long.” God forbid someone pisses off Aire. “That female Gardevoir?” Anues’ attention dropped to his sister again. She figured that answered her question. “I wanna meet her.” Anues frowned instantly. Lovely. He’d regret this. The two eventually looked at Ethfael again, as if asking permission to be dismissed. They seemed rather synced when it came to politeness.

Ethfael Ethfael nodded in agreement wth Anues' statement, he was more that happy that Era was alright as well. He smiled a bit as the Gardevoir protested that saved was too strong a word; however much Anues might say that it was too much credit, Ethfael still wouldn't see it any other way. "As far as I know she is," the Dragonair replied to his inquiry. He hadn't been able to go and visit, but when his other Teammates had come to visit he'd been told that she was improving. "I'm sure she'd like to thank you as well though, if she is mostly recovered by now, so consider it a thank you from both of us." The Dragonair let his head hang down slightly, the toll of this entire conversation beginning to tire him. He didn't want to say anything to avoid impoliteness, but he probably shouldn't stay around too much longer. As much as he'd like to keep conversation with Anues and Alice, this time the Dragonair knew that he was beaten.
The process of bidding farewell ended up being easier than he'd expected when Anues brought it up first. When they both looked at him for confirmation, Ethfael smiled, "Don't let me keep you," he said, "I trust you have your own things to attend to." The Dragonair's gaze fell downward, and at the last second his gaze fell upon the bag he still wore around his neck. "Ah, Anues, wait!" he said, hoping that he wasn't too late. He bent his neck to allow the bag to slide off, undoing the strap with his tail and pulling out a necklace that was by this point familiar to all three of them. "You two should have this back I think," he said, handing it over to them, "Alice had wanted you to have it before, but I'm not sure what you'll want to do with it now. Still, it belongs to you." With a smile the Dragonair nodded in farewell, "Until we meet again."

xx Anues -- AliceAnues nodded along as Ethfael spoke. It looked almost careless, but he was overall an intent listener. He gave a slightly started blink at the sudden address though. Alice caught on quickly. "Oh!" She quickly turned to the Dragonair to retrieve her necklace. Anues' eyes were locked on it. What they were planning was beyond him, but he didn't ask questions. He merely closed his eyes after a moment. "I'll be sure to visit." "Bye Ethfael~ Thanks for your help. I'll see you around." On that note, Anues teleported the siblings out.

.::Stark & Luna & Argonne::.Stark walked into the Courtyard, feeling the sun on his face and fur. Luna skipped about happily, observing the scenery, basking in the sunlight, smiling as she danced about. Stark watched her for a time, smiling as she pondered her reveling. He chuckled to himself. Watching her, I can almost forget about the tragedies that have occurred in recent days. A deep chuckle sounded from Stark's left, intruding upon his reverie. "She certainly is enthusiastic, isn't she?" said Argonne, busily cleaning his flute with a soft cloth. He looked up at the Marshtomp, smiling vaguely. "It makes you understand that this world is worth fighting for."Stark rolled his eyes, and turned back to Luna. Recently, Argonne had delegated himself to be Stark's personal shadow, a sort of personal trainer to him. As he put it, he wanted to "bring forth the untapped potential within you," or some sort of crockery like that. Still, at least he was a genial person most of the time. And he calls me Stark, too, he thought, grudgingly happy about that fact. He ignored Argonne for the time being, just watching Luna's dancing and leaping about. He closed his eyes, feeling the sunlight, just wishing this moment could last forever- that they would never have to worry about any of the calamities that now awaited them in the near future.

 Harley
A swift black and silver form shot into the courtyard, her tail a bushy flag waving behind her as she went. The Mightyena's claws were unsheathed, hooking into the ground to propel her forward at a greater speed than she could without. Her target rolled helplessly before her, shiny and red. The dog's eyes flashed victoriously as she lunged out with a paw to swipe at it and send it airborne, her victim floated up and descended down into the canines jaws where she clamped down on it with her sharp teeth. It let out a shrill cry, an oddly pitched noise like the air being let out of a balloon. Harley's lips curled back in a smile as she sat upright, the squeaky toy in her mouth made delightful sounds as she chewed on, the air being forced out into a low wheeze like the strangled gasp of a tiny Pokemon. She chuckled, tail wagging in delight before letting her ball go and watching it bounce to the ground before rolling forward at the feet of a small black and orange Pokemon. Harley blinked in surprise, she'd been so caught up in her game she hadn't realized there were other Pokemon in the courtyard. "Hey!" She greeted, and then noticed how close the Marshtomp was to her toy. Her teeth flashed in a snarl and she issued a growl of warning. IE: Touch that ball and die.

.::Stark & Luna & Argonne::.Luna skipped about, basking in the wonderful sunny day, when there was a loud, shrill squeaking to her left. With a pitful, short squeak, a red squeaky ball bounced over and landed at her feet. A Mightyena followed up close behind, eyeing between her and the ball, growling and snarling at her. Luna looked at the ball and pondered handing it back to the angry Mightyena. He then looked back at Harley, and the distinctly violent pose she had taken. It was probably best to leave the ball alone. "HEY!" shouted an angry voice to the side. Stark marched up to Harley, a low growl building in his throat, his fur bristling. He fixed Harley with a violent glare. "The ******** you snarling at my daughter for, brighteyes?" he snarled. Meanwhile, Argonne stood a few paces off, playing a few notes on the flute, tuning it- somewhat complicated by his smug smile. This was going to be an interesting standoff. Sure, Stark. Threaten the immature Mightyena, he thought jokingly.

 Harley
Harley's attention diverted off to her left as an Absol approached, though she never really lost her gaze on the ball. It was there in her peripheal, she could see it's red shine even while she glared at Stark now. The Mightyena snapped her teeth at the air, showing off her sharp incisors that were slowly beginning to grow out. Evolution was a b***h sometimes, she was bigger but now her Poochyena teeth were useless and had begun falling out in place of the more dangerous canines of the Mightyena form. She did like them, they held an edge she'd never had before. The blunted baby teeth were good for chewing up meat, but with these babies she could tear out someones throat as clean as a knife cut. Drifting back to the Absol, her ears perked upward at his declaration and she muffled a snort of a amusement. "Daughter? Didn't know Disaster Pokemon had a thing for the Mudkip line. I mean, seriously. Swampert are, like, twice your size pal. You like big girls then, don't'cha?" Her voice dropped in volume until she was practically hissing at Stark as she spoke, her lips curled into a cynical smirk. This Absol, she could have fun with him. She opened her mouth, tongue rolling out as she gave a deep yawn before she shook her head and turned around so her back was to him and in the same motion her tail flicked across his face.

.::Stark & Luna & Argonne::.Stark blinked in shock at the Mightyena's blunt vulgarity. She didn't even seem that much older than Luna- what was she doing speaking in that fashion? I like this girl. Spunky. You should totally date her. Stark flinched again at this mental intrusion- not just for Boros exploding onto his mindscape, but for his insane statement. He shook his head, glaring at the air in general. What the ******** did you say??She's nice- edgy. Spunky. She's got some fight in her. Ask her out on a date.Stark ground his teeth in frustration, then rolled his eyes, tuning out Boros' ramblings. He turned his gaze back toward Harley, his mood even more sour than before. "Use your head, moron- she's adopted. Get your facts straight before you use such an asinine insult. Secondly, that doesn't answer my question, a*****e- what the ******** are you doing snarling at my daughter? Give me an answer and I might not kick your sorry a** for intruding upon my day!" His fur bristled, the air stirring slightly around him. Here comes the bride--SHUT THE ******** UP.

 Harley
He was an odd one for sure, the way her starred off into space for a few moments before speaking made her uneasy. Was he thinking about something? He seemed too focused to simply be thinking. It almost seemed as though he was, glaring?, at the sky. Had it upset him in some way? Did he not like the dark turn it had taken? It might rain soon, did that bother him? The Mightyena didn't know, and she didn't care. So long as he kept her amused he could glare at the sky all he wanted. Harley brimmed with amusement on the inside though her face remained calm and smug on the out. Her eyes focused on the Absol more closely now as he explained and began to become even more enraged. He had a lot of scars, he'd been in fights or maybe he was just really clumsy. No, no, the way he held himself. That was a fighter there. He'd probably be able to back up his threat to kick her a** if he wanted, but Harley was not impressed. "I can take you." She stated bluntly, her words phrased as lightly as though she was mentioning what a nice day it was. Which it wasn't, what with the dark clouds forming overhead near the eastern area, but that didn't matter really. The smaller dog dropped to a low crouch, her belly nearly touching the grass and her paws stretched out. "Okay okay! Let's fight! You wanna go first?" Her tail swished behind her, a big fluffy pendulum keeping time with her excitement. His questions were left unanswered once more because, well, they were boring questions. She didn't want to answer them. Let your claws do the talking, Starky-boy.

.::Stark & Luna & Argonne::.Stark blinked in confusion a few times after Harley issued her challenge. She... wanted to fight? Him? Really? Stark pondered this for a moment. After some contemplation, a laugh started building somewhere in his chest, traveling upwards toward his chest, then bursting out of his mouth in loud exultation. Her! Fight him! It was almost too much. Stark continued laughing, his laugh slowly bubbling off from a rolling guffaw to a quiet chuckle. And I thought I was crazy. What? Whatcha laughin' for? You mean to tell me you don't find that sexy at all? Stark rolled his eyes, tuning out Boros once again, staring Harley down. "Listen here, pup- and listen close. I didn't get all these scars from a few barroom scuffles. I earned these, princess. Every one of 'em. And I made sure I left my mark on every fool who's marked me. And you're, what- preteen? A pushover. A bump in the road. A footnote. And you wanna take me on?" He scoffed, his claws making small marks in the paving stones as he flexed them unconsciously. His look turned slightly more serious as he considered her again. "Believe me, princess- you don't want to 'take me.' So you better turn your fluffy tail around and be on your merry way before I ******** rip it off."Argonne scoffed in the background, then resumed playing his flute, playing a slow, delicate melody. Luna, thankfully, was too far away to overhear this conversation, busily gazing at a flower, swaying in time to the breeze.

 Harley
The Mightyena's ears twitched slightly at the change of mood. That he laughed so suddenly almost made her jump in alarm, but her pride held her down to earth. She glowered at him in silence until he began to speak and gradually her scowl began to curl upward into a cynical smile. The dog watched him, eyes flashing with arrogance and pride as she strutted over to stand closer to the Absol now only a few feet away. She tilted her muzzle upward until it was inches from his own nose before speaking in a low, challenging tone, "If you were as good as you said you'd have no scars to show except maybe the nicks on your claws from cutting down your enemies. A decent fighter would be untouchable, so quick they avoided any injury and held no trophy of their fight other than the blood pooling around their paws." She tipped her nose down suddenly and then brought it up to tap it under the Absol's chin before turning away and trotting off to the side. She then proceeded to walk in circles around him as she continued speaking. There was no falter in her step, no fear in her gaze. She didn't take Stark seriously. She didn't take his threat seriously. "Nice how you notice my fluffy tail and honestly all the cute names won't flatter me. Princess? Bright eyes? Why, Mr.Stark, if I didn't know any better-" She paused, now standing in front of him before turning to face the Absol once more with a grin on her face. "-I'd say you were hitting on me~"

.::Stark & Luna & Argonne::.Stark's eye twitched at Harley's last comment. It was the only outward sign of his internal turmoil. His neck and jaw tightened slightly after that as his rage increased at Boros' cackling in the back of his mind. Oh, SNAP, Stark! She's got ya there, Whitey! You so sounded like you wanted some! Stark and Princess, sitting in a tree--...Boros. Silence, please. He opened his eyes, fixing Harley with a deadly calm glare. There was no anger, no emotion at all. Just that icy stare. He chuckled mirthlessly under his breath, staring down at the poor Mightyena. "Really... those are some... interesting points. Now... let me make a few of my own." Faster than she could blink, Stark's paw whipped out savagely, landing solidly on the side of her neck. The force was sufficient to throw her to the ground, where Stark stomped on her neck, applying just enough pressure to keep her on the ground, but loose enough to keep her breathing. He leaned down, deadly quiet. "You don't get as good as I do in one day. You get there through applying yourself- through suffering through pain, not avoiding it like the prissy little coward that you are," he spat, punctuating his statement with a small increase in pressure- just for enough time for the fear of strangulation to kick in- before relenting. "These scars mean something more than pristine skin. It means I can take some punishment. You are an unmarked little twerp with an attitude problem." He then grinned frighteningly- almost a feral snarl rather than a smile. "And don't flatter yourself- I've got better things to do than waste my time on a spineless little twig like you, who couldn't even see a deliberately slow blow like that coming." He leaned in a bit closer, the air around him rippling slightly. "You're nothing- not even a ruffle in your fur to prove yourself. The biggest spat you've ever been in is being born, pup- don't kid yourself. Although," he said, his grin becoming a bit wider, "You've accomplished something today. You've managed to piss me off bad enough to force me to do this."He lifted a paw, his claws seeming to grow sharper as he raised it to strike. "Care for a commemoration?"Argonne glanced over, but ingnored the dispute, continuing on with his melody, the beautiful noise at complete odds with the mood surrounding his charge. Note to self: the first lesson for Stark will be patience.

 Harley
The Dark Type's smug expression didn't falter, if anything her smile widened considerably as the Absol became noticeable enraged. There was less amusement when he started to chuckle and she slowly felt the fur along the ridge of her back rise up in alarm. This was not the same laugh as before, this one was more cold. Threatening. Harley took a single step back but a fraction of a second too late. Her eyes widened when he moved, she blinked and missed the strike, and was greatly surprised to find herself laying on the ground. On instinct she lashed out but her claws swiped harmlessly at the air since her reach did not extend far enough towards the Absol. The Mightyena hissed, swearing at herself inwardly, before going limp and ceasing her struggling. He wouldn't kill her in the guild's couryard. He couldn't...could he? The fell silent as he spoke, not really listening to a word he said. Sure, she heard him, but she didn't care. Who was he to tell her what she was? She was a fighter, just like her mother had been. The thought of the long gone Mightyena brought tears to her eyes but she refused to let them fall. By insulting her, he was insulting her mother's teachings! How dare he! The second his paw lifted she rolled to the side and out of his reach before lunging back towards him with her teeth snapping towards his throat. She'd rip it out by god, and watch him drown in his own blood.

.::Stark & Luna & Argonne::.Stark laughed as she attacked, placing a paw against her chest, watching her snap futilely at him. He raised the other paw, and smashed it across her face, sending her sprawling across the courtyard. Quicker than she could react, he stomped once again on her throat, this time almost enough to choke off her air supply completely. "Hopeless. Just hopeless. You think you can touch me with such an obvious move? I've been fighting for more years than you've been alive, you mongrel piece-of-trash. I've seen things- done things!- that you've never even dared imagine! I will not be insulted by some whiny little brat thinking she can come and rain all over the first time I've been calm in months!!" At this last word, he picked up his other claw, and whisked it across the bridge of her nose. Not enough to seriously hurt, or even scar. He glared down at her. "There. Your first wound. Weak, insignificant. Just like you." With that, he released the pressure on her throat, and backed away, still facing Harley, in case she decided to lunge again. He might be the better fighter, but she was determined to hurt him if given the chance. Luckily, I'm not dumb enough to give her that chance.

♠ Aloura ♠ Aloura looked around inquisitively as she trotted into the courtyard. For her, it was quite an unprecedented experience. This was due to the fact that the absol had never actually been to the courtyard before, or really any part of the guild that she did not have to be in. Having come form a small, reclusive clan in the mountains she'd inevitably been uneasy about being around so many other pokemon. That she couldn't recall having seen another of her kind since leaving her home did not nothing to assist her confidence. Eventually, however, her curiosity had over come her and she'd forced herself to work up the nerve to explore the guild.
Over all, she was quite glad that she had done so. Although it seemed quite warm to her- she still hadn't quite been acclimated to the climate in the guild- it was otherwise pleasant and sunny. This would have made the venture agreeable enough as it was, but it was pleasantly added to by the fact that the courtyards were pretty to look at. The gardens sported plants she had never seen before along with another oddity she was not used to: Fountains. Where she came from, there was no running water. Only ice. Therefore, she was quite draw to the strange things, fascinated by the shimmering spouts of clear liquid. She smiled slightly to herself as she looked at once such fountain. Yes, she was quite glad she'd come out.
