So assuming Monolith vs. Edana is over (he is just kinda hanging upside down by his tail...turtle-on-his-back sorta thing), the only two plotlines we need to wrap up are:
The Pursuit of Vic Voltage
and
The cargo ship and its escape.
The senate hearing seems to have died down, which is fine, but this means we probably need something big to happen again for general GNG to react to. On my current wishlist is true mecha combat: squadrons flying out to meet the enemy, missiles flying, variable fighters tilt dodging or converting to Battloid to shoot the missiles out of the sky. While on land and sea, destroids, elementals, and cyclones fight off landing forces.
Harder to do though, while trying to get everyone involved.

I hadn't realized the GN had that many magic users, or magic containment effects.. sweatdrop
Celebrated my 4th year on the site on the first by getting a black gift box and having the sense not to open it... Im probably not much longer for Gaia as RL has sort of taken over, and my time is more than a little sparce. The one exception may be this RP as Im actually capable of getting on occasionally sweatdrop

The one exception may be this RP as Im actually capable of getting on occasionally sweatdrop You are the head of the GN, so you'd know better than me sweatdrop If that's too much, the black mage could be a rather unique personage to the base, and the runes on the doors could be his work. GNG bases in general though have had strong anti-magic fields placed upon them, mainly to prevent various magical travel effects. Perhaps this black mage is the one responsible for the anti-magic wards. My 4th year anniversary doesn't happen til August, so whee, you're an older Gaian than I am xd I know what it's like to have RL take over though... the big reason I stepped down from my mod duties on Gaia back in '05 was because RL was becoming a major issue for me. I hope things become more relaxed for you sooner, so you can take the time to do the things you enjoy. ^^ lol Mr. Highwind. Patience is still in abundance. Just...planning.

*shrug* the GN is a massive magic blank void because of the use of massive Etheric Wave Tanks (EWT) as power sources for all sorts of things, which make the usage of magic somewhat unstable to say the least. I'll just count them as GNG guards transferred in since the disturbance.
Ive got... *counts* 4 new ship classes to put up a Corvette, Two frigates (ASW, and AA), and a Destroyer leader which would be a light cruiser to the unfamiliar. Weaponry will see a major improvement soon enough with pulse rifles replacing the GPAR after the attack by monolith, and new grenades as well... but thats in the future.
PA stats will hopefully be up eventually as thats something that will become much more common in GN instalations, and if I remember two Ive got a SSN, SSGN, and SSBN for the GNV use if I remember to post them.
PS: all the ships up... the rest can wait...

Ooh, I like it. Etheric Wave Tanks. So technomagical sounding xd The black mage was intended to be a singular encounter, I doubt there's more than one of him in that section of the base, but yes, certainly the two CVR-3 guards and the black mage could be transfers-in from the GNG.
Whee at the ships. And now to post some closure on the Monolith encounter. And don't forget that Captain Rivers called the Edana for Search and Rescue ops in the now ravaged and burning Port de Gambino city. wink
