"Much better." Takiko replied after the kiss. She brought her soft lips to his once more. This time had a bit more passion in it. She moved her body over his, for a better angle to kiss him. Whenever their lips met, she never wanted them to part. It made her wonder how long she had felt like this. It seems like an eternity that she had known him, and it probably was.

Jack smiled after the kiss.
"Good to hear it."
He held her close to him. As he did, he heard some noise. He rose his head and looked towards the door. He soon let go of Takiko, got off the bed, and headed towards the door.
"Hello?"

Takiko had a bad feeling in the pit of her gut. "Careful, Jack." Takiko whispered as she watched him walk over to the door. It could be anything. More likely than not it was probably something that would not be benificial to them. Her hand quickly grasped the hilt of her katana.

"Right."
Jack looked over at the table that was near him in which his sword rested upon. He walked over to it and grabbed it. The silver shone brightly in the light from the ceiling. He moved to the door and placed it on the knob. He squeezed it tightly, feeling hesitant to open the door. He stood there forseveral seconds, waiting peacefully, yet with worry. He let go of the knob and backed up. In an instant, a hand shot through the door. Jack cursed outloud as he backed up. It was the hand of a Lycan.
"This isn't good."

All the hatred Takiko felt for Lycans welled within her. A snarl passing her lips. The katana slid from it's sheith as she ran towards him. Takiko pressed herself between Jack and the lycan. She would protect him, and help her race, the demons in this war. She had not forgotten the reason she pleaded to become vampiric. One of hand held the katana's tightly, the other pressed against the flat of the katana as one of the lycans massice claws smashed down upon it. It took all of Takiko's strength just to hold up her katana. Snarls came from both the lycan and Takiko, as he eyes began to glow a deep crimson red.

Jack looked over at Takiko with a rather bold look. An odd grin grew on his face.
"Allow me."
Jack flipped the sword in his hand so he was holding it in a stabbing position. He ran forward and thrusted the sword into the Lycan's hand. He heard a loud howl as a dark blood began to seep from the wound. Jack pulled the sword back and the Lycan pulled its hand back. Jack laughed out loud as he stared at the whole with a maniac look in his face.
"We killed one of your pals earlier! We'll kill you too ya friggin' mutt!"

Takiko watched the lycan back off a bit after Jack stabbed it. "Hold on, Jack. Don't kill it yet." Takiko knew that within every beast, no matter how wild, there was an inner calmness. Takiko still held her katana in a defensive position for a moment. Until it look to her that he was hesitant on attaking, only then did she lower her katana. Now she boldly stepping in front of the lycan. At full height, the lycan was almost twice as tall as her, with jaws that could snap her in half. Even though she was at a disadvantage, she still did not seem intimidated. "Why are you here?" Takiko boldly commanded the lycan to answer her. It seemed wherever she went, there were lycans attacking her. Other vampire did not have this problem. She wanted to know why they seemed to be coming after her.

"We did kill one earlier," Jack said.
Jack stared at the Lycan with an odd look. He suddenly seemed rather emotionless. The intrusion ruined the mood for him. He had a sudden urge to take the sword and stab the Lycan again. However, he resisted the urge.
Come on, Jackie-boy. You know you want to. Just go on... it won't cause any harm.
Jack ignored the voice of JR. He wasn't going to give in that easily.

The lycan just snarled at her, instead of replying to the question. "Oh. That's right. I had forgotten mutts like you are too ignorant to speak." Takiko taunted the lycan while she glared at him. Where did this confidence come from, she wondered. Wherever it came from it was gone quickly. As the lycan reached for her. Before she could slice its arm off with her katana, it's furred hand clamped tightly around her neck. Slowly, as it tightened, it lifted Takiko off the ground. Takiko gasped for breath as her katan fell to the ground. It was clear she had pissed off the lycan.

"You little son of a-"
Jack launched forward and stabbed the Lycan in the arm holding Takiko. The Lycan pulled its arm back and soon changed it view to Jack. It howled loudly.
"A little tip, never keep you're eye on one target alone."

When it was stabbed, The lycan dropped Takiko. Her limp body crumpling to the ground. By the time the lycan was distracted, she had all ready lost consiousness. Takiko's limp figure did not move, she was not breathing either.

Jack looked over at the Lycan for a second, then back at Takiko. He then noticed that she wasn't breathing. His eyes soon showed fear, now completely distracted from the Lycan.
"Takiko."
Jack had just ignored the piece of advice he had given the lycan. Soon, the Lycan charged forward, widening its jaws and sank his teeth into Jack's shoulder. Soon, a loud, painful scream escaped Jack as the teeth touched his bones. The Lycan soon pulled its jaws back, removing a huge chunk of flesh from his shoulder. Jack screamed loudly as he fell to the ground, grabbing his shoulder, trying to keep as much blood from escaping as possible.

Takiko wanted to wake. She wanted to fight. She wanted to help Jack destroy the lycan. If only she could wake up. Even in her unconsious state she could heard Jack's screams of pain. It felt like living a terrible dream she couldn't wake from. Then she realized what the tightening pain in her chest was, it felt like something squeezing her heart and her lungs. It was the mere pain from not being able to breath, added to the fear she felt for Jack.

Jack growled loudly as he stared at the Lycan. His breathing became heavy and hard. His eyes glowed a deep blood red. He slowly got to his feet. JR Began to take over. He tilted his head to the side, cracking his neck.
"Now you've pissed me off."
The Lycan howled loudly. It charged at JR and attempted to bite again. JR was stronger and faster then Jack. He was more concentrated than Jack was as well. In a flash, he brought his hands to the Lycan's upper and lower jaw, holding it in place. The Lycan tried to bite down on him, but he couldn't. JR grinned evilly. He pushed the Lycan back, sending it staggering. JR shot forward, pulling back his arm and punching the Lycan. He could here the bones crunch. He turned his head back towards Takiko.
"Wake up girl... you're not dead yet."

Takiko could still not catch her breath, or even open her eyes for that matter. She heard voices, sounds, even if she could not tell what was happening. Every moment that passed she grew weaker. Now at the point she felt like she was floating. She just wanted to relax and everything would be find. Of course that was her subconsious mind. she was not floating. If she gave up, and 'relaxed' as she wanted to do. She would die. '... ******** lycans...' was the only though that echoed through her mind.
