[siz=10][but the coloring is bad >< it took me so long to do that one xP]
Koichi, too, opened his stirafoam box, although not as much steam bursted out. He grinned at her, opening the box of sushi and putting it between them; somehow, it ended up staying on the railing with perect balance- although Koichi could save it if it fell. "Well, dig in!" he laughed, taking a fork and scooping up some fried rice; he didn't feel like using chopsticks at the moment.
[i said already my family was here and i might disappear sometimes, right? ::ish making sure::]

[Pfft, well I like it. And it's waaay better than anything I could do.]
Kana nodded and shifted slightly in place, just to ensure her balance a little better. She set the box in her lap and picked up a fork as well, beginning to eat some of the lomain. Her tail had wrapped itself around the bar she was sitting upon, though that wouldn't do any good if she did manage to fall. She highly doubted she would though, so she didn't worry about it as she began to eat. "This is really good," she smiled before taking another bite. She didn't touch the sushi yet, not knowing what any of it was, or how much she was allowed to have.
[Yes, you've warned me. xD]

"Don't restrain yourself from just that; have as much as you like," he said, poking a sushi with his fork before brining it to his mouth and eating it; he'd taken a salmon roll since they were his favorite; plus they were small. After he had swallowed the sushi, he dug his fork into the rice and a piece or two of chicken. "Liking your meal so far?" he asked before sticking the food in his mouth; he might seem like a player, besides the fact that he was, but he still had plenty of manners.

Kana nodded. "Yes, thank you!" It was really good, and she'd never had this type of food before. It was a wonderful change from the normal cheeseburger or whatever she could catch on her own. While traveling here, she wasn't able to find places to eat at. Being here was a huge relief and she hadn't found a single downside to coming. She stared at the tray of sushi for a moment and tentatively took one. She wasn't sure what it was, but it was really good. She smiled, poking at her other food for a moment before taking another bite of it as well.

[i'm skipping the whole meal ninja ]
Koichi sighed, levitating all the guarbage and hovering over to a trashcan before letting it drop. "Welp, that was a good meal," he said, scratching at an itch on his arm. He sighed to himself, leaning back using his hands as support, looking up at the stars. "Well, now, before I forget I wanna tell you you're welcome to find me if you need anything, Kitty," he smiled over at her, knowing one day she'd need advice or help or somesort of thing she needed to get off her chest... or something? He chuckled to himself as a gentle breeze past them.

[Great, 'cause those are boring. xD;;]
Kana nodded, smiling thankfully at him. "Alright, I'll keep that in mind," she said softly. There was someone else who'd said that to her as well. Actually, two someones. She didn't understand how she befriended people so easily here when it'd been near impossible back home, but she couldn't say she was sad about it. Having friends was the best thing ever, and she'd even picked up a brother too! She grinned at the thought, glancing up again at the breeze. Then her grin changed to a rather serene smile, kind of un characteristic of her. She loved the wind, despite how much trouble it'd gotten her into before. She just couldn't help it.

[thus the reason to skip after a few posts xD]
Koichi looked at his little sister from the corner of his eye, wondering what she was thinking about. Although, since she was his sister, he wasn't going to tap into her mind; he only did that with people he didn't know. He swung his legs under the monkey bars, back and forth, looking up at a constilation, although he wasn't sure which one it was. "So, Kitty," he started, still looking up at the sky, "mind if I ask what else you can do? I mean, besides have a good sense of smell do you have any other powers?" He was fairly curious as to her answer, since he hadn't seen her use any of them yet; he could only wonder why, though.

Kana blinked, turning sharply to face him. She hadn't told anyone at all yet, but it wouldn't do any harm to let him know, right? "Actually... I can manipulate the wind, but at the same time I can't." She paused, bowing her head slightly. "I don't know how to control it." She lifted her head a moment after though, a suddenly determined expression coming over her face. "But I will learn how to!" she said. "I just made up my mind a bit ago, that I'm going to learn. I don't know how, but I will." She repeated it a couple times, mostly because she was reassuring herself. She didn't want to back out. If she didn't want to accidentally hurt people anymore, she would have to learn. Before coming here, she didn't really have a hope, but this place was for honing powers, right?

[dinner time ninja i'll be going back and forth, though. but the posts will e delayed]
Koichi smiled at her determination. "You remind me of a close friend from home," he laughed softly, putting a hand on her head. "Well, then, I'll be backing you up 100%, Kitty. May I suggest, though, finding a... how to say... master- a um... teacher, yeah, teacher! One who can help you further your powers and learn them quicker?" he questioned, suggesting the safest way; the best way to develope powers was to go on a journey and train with them in nature, but he didn't want to suggest that to her.

[That's fine. I'm starting to make a birthday thread for myself. xD;;]
Kana blinked, head tilting as he mentioned someone else. But she didn't question it, and instead smiled happily as he offered support. "Yes, thank you," she nodded. She paused at his next words, then bowed her head in thought. "Where am I gonna find someone like that?" she asked, thinking aloud. "Just wander around and leap on the first person who seems interested in wind?" She grinned at the thought and then shook her head. "Maybe I should ask Karin. She's always telling me to learn, so maybe she's been looking for someone to help."

[you can do that? o.O and wOOt! I'm the one throwing it for Kana!! ::dances::]
"Well, I know someone who'd be willing to help, but I'm afraid they don't come to Ria..." he sighed, slightly ashamed. "But if you go asking around, I'm sure someone will be able to help you," he nodded, as though he was certain. A thought struck him though, to which he leaned slightly foward, almost falling off the bars to which he started flailing around before regaining himself. "I know of someone who can help, although they dont' really know how to use wind... but they can still coach you and everything," he explained further about a boy named Kaze, although he left out the whole part of being friends and everything else that he didn't want to mention.
[[WAHAHa. he's the boy on the right in the siggy... he has an eyepatch xp although i didn't mean for him to sweatdrop ]]

[Ah, I meant in the art freebies thread. xD;; But we could do it in my other character's dorm thread if we wanted, and pretend it's Kana's room during that time. xD]
"You know someone?" she asked, but paused as he said that person didn't come here. Though she didn't let her spirits fall and stayed optimistic, especially when he mentioned someone else. She jumped in alarm as he looked about to fall, but breathed out in relief as he caught himself. Her ears perked in interest after she'd recovered as well as she listened to him talk. "Would it... be alright to ask him?" she asked uncertainly. "I mean, what if he has other things to do?" As much as she wanted to learn, she didn't want to distract others from what they'd rather be doing.
[Well, eye patches are awesome xD]

[..you lost me]
Koichi shook his head; she was very considerate. "He'd be fine with it, I'm sure. He's just here protecting someone, give or take. As for the one he's protecting, she trusts me just as much as him, so it won't be a problem at all," he smiled simply. "So, what do you say?" he repeated again, "although we'll have to wait till tomorrow to ask... i'm not sure what he's doing at this exact moment. Probably just getting to know the grounds," he sighed, knowing Kaze liked scenery... although he knew he liked Kazan a whole lot more. Too bad she's off limits to him, he thought, feeling bad for his friend in a way.

[I'm requesting art for my birthday, so that's the thread I was talking about a second ago, in the art freebies forum. But, my character on Ria, Kaori, has a dorm room thread. Since I can't make another for Kana, we can just pretend that it's Kana's room for the party, if it's gonna be held there.]
Kana watched him for a moment, then almost reluctantly nodded her head. "If you're... sure it's ok with him," she said softly. Now that it seemed realistic she was going to actually learn, she was beginning to grow a little worried. She knew having someone to help her would be the best way, but she didn't want to end up hurting them. She couldn't count the times she'd accidentally shot an object at someone without realizing it. She was definitely having second thoughts, but pushed them away as she recalled words from her friend Karin. 'You'll only stop hurting others once you buckle down and learn to control it', was what she'd said countless times. Kana bowed her head for a moment, still balanced on the bars. I know... she thought quietly.

[you can't make another thread in the dorms? I thought you could xP and i'm done eating xD Mushroom and corn... and i had some steak o.O]
Koichi smiled at his little sister. "Dont' worry. I'll be there to help, too!" he said enthusiastically. "But, Kitty, I have to warn you one thing; Kaze is pretty strict," he said, a little concerned for her. "He's not afraid to push you past a limit and he's more than capable of pushing even the most tolrant persons buttons... so, if you don't like something you'll have to tell me right away; I don't want you getting hurt." He knew it was true; Kaze wasn't afraid to work someone so hard that they colapsed; he'd even seen it numorus of times with Kazan. "I can't ask him to change a training course once he has one in his head, but I can ask him to give you breaks when I see sufficiant," he continued on; his friend was hard to break at points.
