Sapphire gave her another tired smile and carefully took one of the cups of tea. "Thank you..." she replied, her tone obviously grateful.
She leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees and took a small sip of the tea. She didn't realize until after the hot water had slid down her throat that it was sore. She looked at the carpet in front of her for a moment and tried to remember what exactly had happened to her. She remembered...she remembered being....somewhere. It was a one stall restroom at a public place. She remembered seeing blood around the sink...probably from her, and how horribly bruised and swollen her neck was. But before all of that....what happened before that?

The other woman's voice seemed to snap Sapphire's mind back to the present. She shook her head and looked up at her with the same strained smile. "No, I'll be fine. I've been out for quite a while, so anything serious should be healed by now. I'm just...I can't remember much about how I got beat up so much." she replied, then took another sip of tea. "Or where I am really."

That was wonderful news. But...she was with Alex and her sisters were here. So...it's not like she woke up in some completely random location, right? This wasn't a bad situation. She didn't get captured or something like that. Again...
She sighed a bit and carefully put her cup down on the table, then picked a few crackers off the end of the line.
"How long have you been here?"

Yuriko shrugged, "I am not entirely sure. Not very long, I think. I came here looking for someone I know, and this place surpirses me.... In a bizzarre, weird way."

Sapphire blinked as what the woman had said registered. "Bizarre...way?" she repeated, and couldn't help but actually look around the room they were both in. It...it looked normal enough. A few of the, what she assumed were decorations or antiques, looked a little eccentric. But overall nothing bizarre.

"Sorcery...?" Sapphire said, looking back at the woman. She paused, and again seemed to drift into thought. The smile returned to her face and she turned back towards the small plate of snacks. "Guess that makes a bit more sense. As much as I think I was beat up...I shouldn't be able to move this easily. Even with however long I'd been out. There should still be soreness...bruises..." she said. Almost to herself. "But...I don't feel anything."

Yuriko placed her tea cup on the table, then leaned forward, "And you have no recollection as to what has occured? What's the last thing you remember?"

Sapphire paused for a moment, thinking as far back as she could.
"....Before I woke up here....I was in a restroom. Blood all over the sink...face was battered, neck looked like it had been wrung with the jaws of life." she said, then paused and crossed both arms to hug her stomach. "....stomach had been cut open." That's...that's right. The babies. Chaos had sliced her down the middle. Where was that at? That was...
"....before that...before that I was....shopping. With Alex and...and a little girl. I don't remember her name. Went in to try something on and...and he just came out of nowhere. Tried to get away...he...he caught me. Alex jumped in. I ran. He caught me again." she said, then brought one hand up and rubbed the side of her head. "Then...then it's a blur. Stairs. I remember stairs. Being knocked down them. Then someone...Chaos grabbed my neck. Started strangling me. But someone else....someone did something."

"I can't remember. I know he's the one that started it. But...I-I don't think he finished. He tossed me down the stairs...then...then someone else. Someone else was there. Chaos grabbed my neck, but someone did something and he let go. He was...he was knocked away. And then...then someone..." she continued, then trailed off. The other hand came up and held the side of her head.
She couldn't remember. She knew someone else was there, but she wasn't putting a face to it. It was just...it was just a silhouette in her mind. Chaos had her, they both looked over at...whoever it was. Chaos grabbed her again, then he was knocked away. Person was beside her. And then...then...
".....couldn't breathe....breaking my neck."
