"Oh boy...", Kareena looked all over the cafeteria, covered with food. She got up and drew several circles, in a blink of an eye. She used alchemy to clean the mess up and threw away the excess food. The cafeteria workers looked at her in disbelief.
"Damn, I need to learn alchemy sometime", said one. They gave them all the food they needed.

Alexis yawned when she awoke. She blinked and realized she was alone.
"Joy," she grumbled. She looked around--no nurses or doctors seemed to be around.
The girl carefully got to her feet, ignoring the stabbing pain in her side. She gained her balance and made her way next door, Aaron's room.

"Don't you dare make another mess. I'm not your mother", Kareena said while bringing her tray of food to the table. Suzette was eating a carrot stick while looking at the clock.
This is going to be a long day she thought. She finished eating her food and laid her head on the table.
"Are you still going to have a contest?", she asked.
"Yeah!", her mother said enthusiastically.

Alexis moved towards her brother's room, ignoring her side screaming with protest. She pressed her ear to the door and heard no one. She opened the door and smiled when she saw her brother, sitting up, and angry-looking.
"Alexis!" Aaorn exclaimed. He winced as he tried to move. "What are you doing? I thought you were--"
"I am," she said, a bit pale from moving so much. She sat in the chair next to his bed. "But you're more injured than I am."

Kareena was scarfing down the food like there was no tomorrow. She ate all her fruits in only a few seconds. She did the same with the vegetables. She drank her water and coffee in a pattern, in between her consumption of actual food. The lunch workers watched in awe and resumed to their tasks, but still watching the contest. Suzette reluctantly watched as well, but had an urge to leave, the contest was going to take a while. She picked up a tray, that had small portions of food, and left the cafeteria. She walked toward Alexis's room and opened the door.
"I've got some-", she looked around to see she wasn't there.

Magnet realized his alexis must be all alone in her room when suzette left. "wait for me!" he said as alice made a choking sound but continued to eat. when he got to the room he said "Ali im sorry your...all... where is she?" Suzette was all alone in the room

"I..don't know, but she couldn't have gotten far with her injuries", Suzette replied. "The nurses probably didn't watch her", she added. Meanwhile, Kareena was eating at the same pace as Alice, it was going to be a tie.

Alexis looked at Aaron's arm that was now in a sling and his...missing one.
"Isn't Dad working on your new arm?" she asked.
Aaron nodded. "I'll be here a while." They looked at each other bitterly. Aaron stared at her. "Doesn't it hurt to walk?"
"Yeah," said Alexis. "And to move, but I'm fine." She returned the stare. "Doesn't your arm hurt?" she pointed at the shoulder that still had the gaping hole in it. Magnet's healing hadn't done the complete job.
"Y-yeah..." Aaron said awkwardly. "But, like you, I'm fine. I'm dealing with it. As long as I can move again, I'll be fine."
"Yeah..."
There was a long silence.
"Kara's dead, right?" Alexis said.
"Most likely," Aaron replied.
