Alison stood behind the curtain. She was nervous. She had never performed in front of a corwd this big before. The man before her, on the stage right now is busy juggling to some odd elevator sounding music. ALison starts singing the words of her song over and over in her head.
Theresa sat in her room, in a chair looking into a book. SHe had been doing this lately. She had left the mansion for small amount of time and she was scheduled to return. She had to catch her plane tonight, and she was anxiously awaiting it. She didnt know why she was sent her to this small town in the middle of no where. She just knew soon she could get back to the mansion where life was a little bit more active.

Rachael yawned and sat up. "Home at last..." She said as she got dressed. It had been a confusing time the last few days but she was glad that everything was over and everyone was alright, more or less.
Kathy reloaded the virtual gun and took aim at the virtual targets. She was in the danger room using a shooting simulation. She just needed the practice and wanted some thinking time. She thought better when she was shooting things.

The terrible eleavator music ended. A tall women with her hair in a bun began to shoo Ali onto the stage. She nervously walked out into the spot light. Her eyes widened as she saw her classmates, and niebhors staring at her from the audience. The light she was standing in seemed to be over powering.
She held the microphon etightly in her hands. The glitter designs on her shirt sparkled with the light bouncing off of them. Her dark blue jeans seemed to sparkle slightly as the light bounced of the golden strands woven into them. Her shoes also seemed to gleaam as the silver coloring flashed through.
The music began to play. SHe started to ing and realized it wasn't her song. There was some shuffling in the sound booth and then the song she was to sing started to play. She sang along softly at first, but she began to gain courage and it wasnt long till she began to sing out.
Along with her beautiful music, Ali wasnt aware of the glittering lightshow that was dazzling the crowd. Her underdevolped powers had become active in her nervousness and started converting some of the sound around her to lights of many colors.
The audience was silent, they didnt know whether to watch the lights, or to listens to this girls beautiful voice. Ali's voice was then overpowered by a loud roar coming from out side the school. The light show ended as her voice did. THe music continued to play.
The front doors burst open as many thugs on motorcycles road in. They were the bandits who had been vandilizing the school. One carried a gun and began to shoot the light out. All the lights were shot and then Ali stood alon in the darkness.
She then began to hear fotsteps on the platform. They were heave steps and the spurs behind the persons boots begin to skid the wooden floor making a "ching" like sound.
Ali was firghtened. The chinging was now coming from all around her. She backed up to a cutain and then her back was up against a wall. The men were getting closer to her. She heard the sound of a switch blade pop out.
Then the mens fot steps seemed to spark. Each step was creating a miniscual flash of light. Ali stared as she saw a blade. A sand bag up above the rafters fell to the ground. Instead of a sound there was a brillant flash of light.
Many in the audience began to scream. The screams were converted to light, and center of the light was infront of Ali's attackers face. It was like a flash bomb. The knife wielding man fell to the ground. The others ran form the auditorium and sped away on the motorcycles they came in.
Ali feel to the ground... suddenly weakened.

Waking up from a uneasy sleep one December morning, Victoria got out of bed and shuffled in the vague direction of kitchen, trippping over a shoe in the process. Half running into the door frame, she whiped the crud from her eyes and saw that she wasn't exactly alone. At least a half dozen of her fellow mutants were milling around, doing everything from fixing breakfast to chatting up a storm. Conidering it was to early in the morning to remember manners, she proceeded to ignored everyone and instead devote her concentration to making a cup of hot chocolate.
Roughly ten mintues later her hot chocolate was done and she plopped herself into the nearest empty chair to enjoy it. She took a small sip, burning the tip of her toungue like always and immediantly set it down again. Trying hard not to make a scene she dropped her face into her hands she groaned slightly. Today was not going to be an easy day.

When Morgan approached the Danger Room for one of his solo training sessions, he found it already occupied. "Odd," he muttered. It's usually empty at this time. There aren't any classes happening here, at least not to my knowledge, he thought to himself, as he ascended to the observation bay to see who was in the Danger Room.
It was Cathy, using one of the firing range sims. "I geuss I'm not the only one who uses this place to think," he though aloud. He left the observation bay, and quietly entered the main area, where Cathy was reloading her virtual weapon. "Mind if I join you?" Morgan asked.

Another target down. "Sure, hop right on in." She said not pausing in her practice. "The more the merrier." She said pausing to reload the gun. "Guns to the left, ammo along the racks..." She said pointing and looking at the pistols pursing her lips and debating which one to try out next.

OOC: Sorry Silas, Noko, Ai No Yami, I'd have posted either yesterday or thursday, but being that I didn't work either of the days I couldn't just go straight to (or stay in) my room. My grandpa's here and I'm the one he's been hang'in out with. So I'll only be poping in here from time to time for like the next two weeks. ONce he's gone, though, I should be back to my normal scheduel. (Although hangin' out with him is cool. Espically when my mom's around. Then all I do is lmao rofl )
IC:"Ok then. I will stay out as backup. I can fly overhead, keeping a keen eye out if the X-Men show up. Besides, I probably don't have the 'right' kind of power to rob a bank anyway. So I will stay behind." John watched as Silas went into an alleyway, and waited a few seconds before he saw a hawk come from the shadows of the alley and take a perch on top of the bank. John nodded his head and turned to the other two. "Alright girls, what about you two?" he asked. "Again, you can just stay right here and keep people like the cops from entering the building, or you can come in with me, and... well, rob the bank. It's up to the two of you, Silas has already picked a job that I offered, and the two of you have the same option; so what's it gonna be?' John asked, looking from Gen to Noko.

Gen wasn't real keen on the idea of holding up the bank, so she raised her hand. "I'll take the outside." she said, watching people wander by. To her, they looked like just a group of teenagers, debating on what to do in the afternoon. So far, so good...

Morgan wasn't terrible practiced with the use of firearms, as he preferred more traditional ways of dealing with foes (such as a sword). However, his aim was still rather good, so it didn't bother him too much.
Walking over to the rack, he examined the firearms on display. They ranged from handguns to assault rifles. Removing one of the pistols on display, he examined it before loading in a clip. He took a firing stance next to Cathy, and took aim at the target next to hers. Squeezing the trigger gently, a single bullet streaked out of the gun, and lanced through the air towards the target. It smacked into the material, leaving a noticable impact hole. Not a perfect shot, but Morgan wasn't used to using guns.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Morgan said, taking aim once more at the target.

"Not unless you want some change back..." She said shooting another target. Cathy was much better with a gun and this one would have crippled her opponent. "Holiday blues mostly, the rest is what we just went through....way to much to take in at once...so I needed some thinking time." She took aim at the target again and shot it in the shoulder.

"Never did have a chance to spar with Jamie," Morgan said, remembering his friend. Other people might have broken down into tears at this point. Not Morgan. If there was one thing that stuck in his mind about Jamie's death, it was that he had died with honor. He had fallen in battle against innumerable odds, truly a warrior's death.
He took more time to line up his shot this time, and squeezed the trigger once more. This time, the bullet streaked across the room, and nailed the target right between where the eyes would be. Morgan may not have been skilled with a gun, but he sure as hell know how to aim.

"Meh, he went out fighting...." She said simply. She really didn't know him well at all despite her year here. "To bad Penny left, I wanted to spar with her..." She said shooting at her target and scoring a shot to the kidneys. "She'd have kicked my a** for sure but it's the challenge that would have been worth it..."

"Didn't have a chance to spar with her either. It would have been quite an experience," Morgan replied, taking aim at the center of the target. He fired, and the bullet smacked into the target just to the left of where he was aiming. Had it been a real person, they'd have a punctured lung right now.
Stop reminiscing and ask her, you moron!
Not now!
Yes, now! Askheraskheraskher!
All right! I can't believe I was this impatient.
He lowered his weapon, and turned to Cathy. "If you don't have other plans, would you like to go out for dinner tonight?" he asked, for once listening to his old self.

The question took her by surprise causing her hands to twitch when she fired, her bullet slamming into the left shoulder of her target. *Tell him no....tell him your busy...* "Sure, I'm not doing anything." She said turning towards him. "Anyplace in paticular?"
