"No nastier than Fluffy and I've taken him on many times." He rolled his eyes and shook his head at Luc. "It doesn't have legs and can't move and therefore is not a challenge. And I like challenges." Galesen had a buck right off and now Luc had managed to shoot down something flying. Kyst had no idea which bird it actually was. "You two are going to eat well tonight. Now it's my turn." Nocking an arrow, he started creeping through the woods, glancing up into the trees.
He was being so difficult, wasn't he? Removing the largest tangles from her hair, she slid back into the water and swam beneath the surface where she was able to trail her fingers along the lower half of his body in teasing manner. Swimming between his spread legs, she moved quickly, paddling towards the other side of the springs.
She knew he asked out of concern for her safety as well as his love for her and graciously moved a few spaces back to allow him ample room. But that didn't mean she wasn't ready to aid him if he happened to need it. "Do your dirty work, Ty. I'll be over here." Holding the journal and glancing through for anything else of interest.

Galesen looked at Luccan and shook his head. "When it comes to friends, I usually give things away without asking for anything, but now that window has closed." Snickering a little before he quieted down as he watched the wood elf take his bow and managed to get something. "Well, we certianly came at a good time." A look to Kyst and he smiled a little. "don't worry my friend, I'm betting something with tusks or feathers will appear soon enough." Galesen then went quiet as they kept on moving, he had no need to keep his bow out, it was now up to Kyst if he could get something for himself now.

"You'd think that...until one twice as big as you is chasing you through the woods and mowing down trees as it does so." He smiled though at Kyst's ever present sense of conifdence in the things he did. Luccan didn't put his bow away as Galesen did, but he wasn't babying Kyst either...merely following and seeing what the elf could accomplish besides catching a tree. Maybe this time he'd catch a bush. Luccan gave a quiet giggle.
She was really trying every tactic in the book that she knew here wasn't she? He was highly amused if anything, but also determined to win out this time. She had won the last five times and now he wanted a turn to win. Time to buckle down. Thusly he merely stayed where he was and leaned back against the edge of the pool, closing his eyes and relaxing, more or less pretending to ignore her.
Tyyrael lifted his arms out to the side before bringing them together, lacing his pointer fingers against each other before pulling his hands back to his chest and closeing his eyes, taking in a long breath. Of course being the highest peak of the rune mages on the plane, his runes came with a more natural flash and flare, ice blue scribings popping up along his person as well as the activation circle he used flaring to life around him with arcs of energy through the air.
He dropped down into a more grounded stance before one hand moved to his shoulder and drew down as if he was drawing something through the air and his body, the other hand following it's path in a slow concentrated motion. It was all very serene like...until in a quick snap motion he twisted his ankle to change the direction his body was in. One hand shot back diagonally from where it was, sparking energies following it and the other hand followed suit. When both hands came to the same place, they clasped again with index fingers together a beam of crackling energy shooting off and down the mine tunnels, filling the place with light and seemingly splatttering the walls.
Another quick motion with his hands, both tracing the same design into the air before he flung them out wide, the energy quite literally forming a net that fell over the a large area of the mountains that the mines were in themselves, aided by the natural energies in the air. Of course for all his fancy and power, he paid heavy prices as well. The moment the scribing was done he dropped to a knee with a hand braced on the ground, giving a cough and a pained noise before a few drops of blood fell to the dirt and quickly was followed by a steady flow and the dying of blue fire-like energy.

He was moving slowly, glancing through the woods and keeping a sharp eye out for anything out of the ordinary or anything that might alert him to his prey. It didn't take long to see a shadow in the trees and he lifted his bow, took aim and shot. The arrow headed straight on it's mark, the sudden flapping telling him he'd been headed in the right direction. But then the wind kicked up and carried his arrow off into the bushes until he heard a scream and the sound of something heavy falling to the ground. "I got something!"
She was getting frustrated and couldn't imagine why she couldn't entice her husband. He'd responded to everything she'd done before... Studying him from the other side of the warm pool, she frowned and finally swam over to him, locking her arms around his neck and pressing her lips to his. "If I say you win will you make me happy?"
Lhia was always taken aback by the sheer amount of power her lover possessed. Intellectually, she knew what he was capable of but seeing it in action...it astounded. She was also reminded how high of a price he paid and she raced forward and caught his arm, gently easing him down and producing a towel to catch the flow and try and stem it. "Do you think it worked?" Settling on the ground and gently pushing her fingers through his hair in comfort.

"Oh that is not fun...bloody things can be fast too." Yeah Galesen had run into those little brown things once or twice, it was a lot of fun running through the forest with one right behind him. But soon enough all eyes were watching Kyst as the elf wandered through the forest slowly. Galesen glanced off in another direction for a moment when he heard the sound of an arrow being let loose and hitting something that made a noise. Galesen turned to heard some flapping away followed by a screech and a thudding noise a moment later. "Great! Lets go see." And off the three of them went to see Kyst's game, when they found it the bird was at least dead already. "Well Kyst, nice shot there."

"You got something alright. The real question is what though." Galesen was off before them, still eager and Luccan just shook his head. He was so slow these days it really irked him. But he waved Kyst off. "You go ahead of me and see what you got. I need to sit down for a minute."
Lifting his head up to look at her properly he gave a grin and a nod of his head. "Yes, yes it would. I deserve to win this time, I haven't won in a long while."
It was a horrible feeling really, like pins and needles sticking at him but giant ones and millions of them. He let Lhia help him lay back in the dirt, though on his side some so that he didn't choke on blood. With it coming out of everything but his ears at this point, it wasn't pretty to say the least. He spit out some blood, angling his eyes to look at her. "Should have, give it a magic tap and see if you pick anything Andalian up. If you don't then it worked."

The energy that ripped through the tunnels easily shattered the weaker golems, turning them to dust and many of the stronger ones crumbled into piles of worthless stone. but some of the older ones, the originals, endured. the energy blast didn't sop them, and also didn't really get any attention. they seemed to sense many of the others were destroyed, and a few started to meander to build more, but other then that paid it no mind.

"No idea..." And that scream hadn't really sounded like an animal to him. He hurried ahead, glancing back at Luccan and tripping over a root which sent that nocked arrow off wildly near the spot of his kill. With a faceful of dirt, he saw the bird but also saw that not ten feet away was the still body of a young, female elf. And to make matters worse, his stray arrow was now firmly implanted in Galesen's posterior. But the girl was his concern and he loped over and knelt down beside her, pleased only to see that there was no arrow in her body. "Galesen, come help me."
"Is that all you wanted." Shaking her head and pushing at his chest. "You honestly weren't affected by any of that or have you just gotten really good at hiding such things from me?"
Still concerned, she continued to pet through his hair and then glanced back at the mountains. "If it didn't, we're all screwed because you don't have energy to cast another net." Standing up quickly, she did as instructed, lifting her arms over her head adn sending her own power out as a sonar-like reaction. Nothing pinged back. "I think you managed it, Ty." She pulled out another cloth and left him for a moment to wet it with her canteen then gently wiped at the blood around his mouth. "How long is it going to take you to recover?"

Galesen peripheral vision made him notice that someone else was close by. When he looked toward the mass just a bit a head of him he noticed that it was an elf instead of another animal. "Uh guys..." He began but he suddenly stopped when he heard something fell behind him and then a sharp pain was felt throughout his body. "Gah!" Galesen feel to his knees as if they were cut down, then once settled he slowly reached around and felt the arrow. Just as his fingers brushed the arrow he felt a shock of pain and he hissed. A look to Kyst though as the elf was asking for help. "Give me a moment..." Quietly he reached around and grasped the arrow, by feeling it a little he realized it was deep in there so he needed to leave it alone. So he stood up and wandered over, dragging a leg because the part his body was shot would hurt if he moved it. Looking down at the girl Galesen paused before turning to Kyst. "Okay, let's move her carefully." Slowly he crouched down and grasped the elf's arms lightly before looking to Kyst. "Get her legs."

Luccan gave a discouraged sigh as he could hear what was going on with them all, as well as see it as his eyes naturally could look through the dense foliage and muttled colors easily. Hauling him up from the root he had sat on he moved toward the other two. One had shot the other and apparently...there was a girl involved. That he knew. "Nessa...you're always getting in trouble. Don't carry her like that. You won't get anywhere dragging a leg anyway." Thusly he moved over and pulled Nessa onto his back. Let's head up into Rhylia and have my mother take care of the both of these guys. Kyst, bring the meat."
"I'm easy to satisfy. I just want to win every now and then. That and I've gotten good at supressing that urge to jump you and ravage you as my own. Very important tactic for when in public and you're all fancied up."
"Long as the magic is nulled, all the braizers will extinguish, and the metals well even seem like nothing more than rock. It should help the problem if not stop it completely." Sitting up some, he let her try to clean him up so, though as with most cases more blood just replaced the old. "I don't know...I need to siphon something." Thusly looking around for what viable source could be used. "See if you can find me a linkstone in one of the tents."

He frowned at Luccan as he hefted the girl, who appeared to be unconscious, onto his back. "I can carry her." But he was told to carry the meat instead. Galesen apparently had the buck all taken care of, though how he'd managed to do so that quickly was still a mystery to Kyst. Grabbing a bag, he bundled the large bird that had been brought down by his arrow through it's wing in with Luc's own kill and headed off after Luccayden. "All we need now is a boar to come and chase us."
That answer should have mollified her and it somewhat did. Yet she still couldn't help the grumble, "A wife could wish her husband didn't have so much restraint when they were alone."
She'd been around Ty long enough to know that the bloodloss wouldn't kill him unless he refused to give his body time to recover. Still, she sponged at the blood until her rag was soaked and she would be forced to wash it out in a stream before using it again. "In a minute, once it stems slightly." It wasn't in her nature to leave him when he was that bad off anyway. But eventually she did get up and began searching through the camp. Fifteen minutes later, she returned empty-handed. "I brought one if that will help." Reaching into her pocket and holding it out to him.

Older golems were standing still, trying to get new golems to move. a few barely, sluggishly tried. some lurched around. but it was quite obvious they were not going to be anything like what their commands dictated they needed. the food in the stone was gone. That meant they'd have to find new food. that conflicted with the guard the mines protocol. so their command base shifted only a bit. new designation was created beyond Builder and Sentry. Hunter/Gatherer.
Many of the builders morphed to this, and started to make their way to the entrance of the mines. others broek themselves apart, the peices merging and breaking into forms like Wist's 'mr. wiggles' and currowing and creating ramps and tunnels digging into the earth, looking for new energy sources.

Galesen looked to Luccan and gave a small nod, but he didn't liked it when the elf took the girl named Nessa and placed her on his back. "Alright then." Heading back to where he was shot and gathering everything he dropped before limping after the others. But as they walked Galesen let out a sigh as Kyst spoke up. "You had to say that. Great, now we're jinxed." And of course him having his a** shot he couldn't out run a boar, at least he could stun it if he got a good shot off. A look to Luccan then. "How far is Rhylia?" Gods it was going to be embarrasing to walk through that city with an arrow sticking out of his a**, but like all things he was just gonna need to put up with it when the time came to do so; and he knew for a fact no one was going to let him live it down.

"I really hope not because I don't think any of us can run that fast. One of us is shot, the other slow with bloodloss and you can't run through the woods without falling on your face. Believe it or not we're not very far at all." Thusly he took to leading them along, coming to the entrance and doing what was necesary to head up into the tree bound city. "We'll go to my place." Which incidently was in the palace and he led them there and to his mother. "Mother are you in? We've got a variety of problems and dinner."
Of course she came around the corner with another elf, explaning a potion to him before he paid her and she let him on his way, Bellithiel turning her attenion to the boys. "Well my my I see that indeed. Come on you three, follow me so I can get you all cleaned up."
He only laughed at her pleasantly before framing her face with his hands and placing a kiss on her lips. "A husband coudl wish that he would win once in a while them they were alone. I'm just granting my own wishes today is all.
It was nice actually to have someone watching after him when he was being a blood fountain. Usually he sat alone with a bowl in his lap or such things and waited till everything got back under control. Giving a nod to her on waiting he took the crystal once she produced it and holding it in his hand he siphoned off the magic that was in the crystal. It was enough to at least stem the blood flow more. "That will do for now."

Not realizing that Galesen had been shot, he was shocked to see the bobbing arrow and then it took everything he had not to just sit down in the woods and laugh. And laugh. And laugh. How random was it that an arrow that had been shot off suddenly had managed to land just there? It really was a humorous situation. He carried the meat in and handed it over to a servant that came up then gave a wave to Luc's mom. "I hurt her...on accident. Is she going to be okay?" Because that's what he was really concerned about.
She snuggled into his arms and gave him a smile then gave back that kiss along with a nuzzle or two. "This wife is willing to let her husband win. At least every once in a while. But what do I get in return?"
She didn't mention that it was the only linkstone she had on her because she was fairly certain that Ty had another on his person somewhere. They'd have to have one in case of emergencies of which there could be countless while they were gone. "Take off your shirt so I can wash it, Ty. No sense in you being covered with blood while you sit here." And then she had another thought of an entirely different nature. "Actually, why don't you go bathe in the stream? You've got blood all over you and that's not good. Never know what you'll attract."
