"I don't like you this way, Rei, and I don't think anyone else does. To be blunt, you're being an a*****e. And as your friend," He rested his hands on his hips. "It's my role to slap some sense into you."

Rei pouted a little bit, and then looked back up at Nils with a big smile on his face.
"Ah, come on, Nilsy! I can't be in character for a little bit? Geez!" Rei leaped off of the chair, and flew straight into Nils, giving him a noogie.
"Would you really expect me to be like that all of the time? Although, if anything, it just shows you that people can change when you least expect it. But, they're still probably the same deep down, like with Seigell."

Nils totally didn't expect the sudden change in character.
So, he didn't expect the flying tackle or the noogie. The small bard staggered slightly, then began to flail as the druid noogied him.
"H-hey!! Let go of me!" He laughed and spun around to try and tickle his friend. "Now this is the better Rei! I'm glad you aren't possessed or anything!!" He grinned happily.

Aran sighed as Rei was acting differently again, first Zelos and now who? He smiled though as Rei tackled Nils, but he only smiled for a bit as he saw Rhys fall on the floorIf Siegell had gotten him that Ring, and if it's supposed to do bad things instead of make Rhys stronger, then I guess it's a good thing I havent seen anything for me yet..

Rei tried to stifle laughter as the small bard tried to tickle him, but failed miserably.
"Pfft! Of course I'm not possessed! A ghost'd have way too much trouble getting in my head, buddy!" Rei grabbed the bard's arms and held them away from him, accidentally letting the Zelos doll fall out of his pocket and bounce off of Nils's head.

Nils pouted as his tickling proved to fail. "I had to make sure, though... I didn't want you to be that way permanently... I would have been the one to blame!" He squirmed as Rei held his arm, his eyes following the Zelos doll as it fell from his head to the ground.
"... I'm sorry I called you an a*****e." He had a mischievous grin on his face as he looked at Rei again. "But I'm not sorry for slapping you."

Rei let out a real laugh, not one of those fake, jerky ones.
"Awww, it's ok, Nils. I deserved it, since I was being really mean." Rei gave Nils a big hug. "Although, it was kind of fun. I might do it again sometime..."

Nils laughed, returning Rei's hug. "And if you do so, I'm slapping you again. That was the only fun part about it... Hope I didn't actually hurt you with that slap."

"Oh, what, you had fun slapping me? Totally not cool, ya little sadist." Rei fell over, laying down on the floor while reaching over to get the Zelos doll.
"And of course you didn't hurt me. You're a little shrimp, and I have the ability to not die after a light smack." He reached up and ruffled Nils's hair a bit, like an older brother would or something.

Nils shrugged, still grinning. "Sometimes, you just have to slap someone, you know? And you were right there, giving me the motivation..."
He crossed his arms across his chest, frowning. "Ouch. That hurts, Rei. Why not show your friend some mercy or something? Lie sweetly?"
The grin did return though. "... And I'm not a shrimp." He tried to stand on his tiptoes to prove it. Then, he was just barely the same height as the druid.
Moments later, he (somehow) lost his balance, and fell back down on his feet.
"... Point taken."

Tibarn tromped down the stairs, rubbing his head. "Ugh... sorry that took so long, guys, I lost like fifteen minutes in the shower, at least... just totally zoned." He was finally dressed, wearing his regular green coat now as he paused by the tree, eyed Ayra's present and made a mental note to take it up to her on the way back upstairs.
He made a snap decision not to interrupt the love-fest between Rei and Nils, and at last sought out Amelia and Rhys, who both seemed pretty on-the-ball with current events. Thus did the Hawk King stumble upon the fallen Rhys and Amelia by his side. "... Amelia, did you take Rhys up to a private room and give him a concussion? That's not how you make love. Do you two need a demonstration?"

Rei laughed again, reaching his arm down and pulling the bard back up to his feet. He stifled some laughter as he tried to say something to Nils.
"Like I said, shrimp. And I can't lie to my best buddy like that! It's almost as bad as being all angsty and mean like I was earlier!"

Amelia tugged a blanket over Rhys, looking up as he got it over his shoulders. "Tibarn!" she said, noticing him at the door. She stared when he finished talking, looked at Rhys, then back at him. At some point in the process of doing that, her face turned a bright crimson, waving her hands in a frantic 'Stop' motion.
"N-No! That's not... th-that's not what happened! He-He passed out, I didn't...! Y-You don't need to do that!" she spluttered. She looked down and tugged at her bangs. "A-Augh... I-I don't need a de-demonstration, thanks..."

Nils accepted the help, pulling himself back up. He grinned, ignoring the "shrimp" comment. "True, true. I wouldn't be too happy if you lied to me... I'd be sad." A small frown came to his face, if only for a moment, and then disappeared.
