I don't think you missed much but that's coming from a guy who hates must politicians, and believes that each one should serve for one year and at the end of that year the people decide whether they live or die.

I believe that our rights are most important. Like the right to abolish any government that pisses us off.... If over 50% of the people wanted Barrack gone I believe he should be. I don't like How Obama is trying to limit our gun rights. We have the right to it, it's something that should be absolute. That's my little opinion....

Well at least make them serve one year before they have to be reelected that way if we don't like them we can get rid of them before they do anymore damage.

Bush didn't have nearly the approval rating of Obama, yet we didn't kick him out of office. I (personally) wanted it to happen, but the man ended up serving 8 years. Obama, by contrast, hasn't been in a year, and you guys are really going to town on him. I know we all expect him to do great things in terms of changing America for the better (hell, we hope so, considering the mess Bush made), but that sort of thing takes time.
You need to give the man a chance-- being the president's gotta be a really tough job. I'm not trying to make excuses for him because there are many of his policies with which I don't agree. He's spending exorbitant amounts of money that we don't have and he seems to be leaning towards things like universal health care, which I don't agree with in the slightest. Despite this, the United States' reputation has increased dramatically since he took power. For once, foreign nations are taking us a little more seriously. The leaders of other nations actually *like* our leader (first time in eight years!), and that's a real plus, considering the alternative.
Don't misunderstand me-- I didn't want Obama as president. I'm a Democrat, but he wasn't my first choice for the candidacy. Not by a long shot. But, as a Democrat, he supports a lot of issues that are important to me, so I'm willing to take the good with the bad and hope the former outweighs the latter.
So just give the man a bit of time. Things aren't going to change in a year.
-end rant-

Those rights were put in place for a reason, I do agree he spends a bit much but I haven't been following him that close. (I also think he's from Kenya.... I mean if you won't release your birth certificate to the public something has to be up....) Haha but yeah I agree we are in a hole, he's doing what he thinks is best but still messing with my born rights just kinda gets me a little pissed XD

Lol... I understand where you're coming from, but I don't have much against stricter gun control laws and stuff. I guess it's personal preference. It really doesn't affect me, to be honest. As for the Kenyan thing-- I don't really care one way or the other. I feel like too much of his background is being criticized and nitpicked. We would never question and white guy, but when a black man is in the spotlight, suddenly people are over-analyzing his personal history.
I don't mean to be critical of you, Osiris. It's just that there has been so much of that lately. You know-- Obama's a terrorist or he's Muslim (which really wouldn't be a problem) or not a natural born citizen or whatever.
-shrug-
I don't know XD
