Adele leaned into him a little. After a few minutes she pulled away. "Please, Rue," she begged. "Leave me be for a few minutes. Go over to Marius. I just need...to be alone for a bit."

Adele nodded, barely. She didn't think Marius hated her for what she was even though he easily could. She had been thinking about running away but when Rue said that she knew she couldn't.
Marius was sitting back at the camp, silently. He didn't even hear Rue come up.

Adele had disappeared behind another dune. She turned, looking at where she could go. She turned to walk one way and screamed, finding herself suddenly face to face with a man that had leveled a sword with her throat.
