It does help. I'm currently typing up an Exit for the Village, then I have an Entrance to make in the Spring.
V_V I feel bad for Shinji... could he at least have fallen near the water's edge? You didn't specify exactly where he slid to... but I would guess it would be close enough to see the waters.
