NEVER. Not even for my birthday! You should consider yourself lucky... heart crying Seriously Klody.. You have such pretty art that you make me cry. crying i pay for all my gorgeous commish like you said, and to have the gold i have to work hard sweatdrop whee

O.o; Sneeeeeeeeaky ninja devil! xp Zeph: I steal my sister's paypal account to commission people *is only 17* But it is a lot easier than going to the local 7-11 to get a money order, then realize you're out of stamps/envelopes and have to run out and get those too. And now I'm able to commission people in Europe (where a lot of my favorite artists are from).

WOW. Those two auctions went for WAY too much gold. I mean hell, I'm worth probably over 30 mil or something, with my items, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to pay that much gold for art. 40-80 k is reasonable for an auction, I think. If the artist is really, god and rare, maybe even higher. But jeesus...over 150 k for stuff like that? I guess some people just have too much gold.
Me, I prefer to use my wealth to hold contests. ^^ I get more good art that way, and they're a lot of fun to host. Instead of bidding an '03 letter and getting one piece of art, I can usually get several nice pieces and a bunch of slightly lower quality ones for the same price! Plus, when you're selling your own art at a certain price, you tend to scale other people's art according to your own. (Or at least I do) If I see something I could do for myself easily, then I tend not to value it as much.
