She felt little comfort in Kioko's embrace. She was going back and forth from reality to a flashback every few moments. And every flashback was worse than the last one, which made her shake a bit her and start crying, whimpering slightly as she did so. She burying her head into Kioko's chest as she cried, holding onto her for support.

Doctor K shrugged calmly to answer Strobe's question as he continued to pace around them, he didn't seem to notice the newly arrived experiment as it passed by. "Honestly, I simply check up on your little group out of my own curiosity, my actions are not governed by the corporation of the labs. Why they persue you? Perhaps they believe that you will reveal the nature of the experiments going on in the labs, surely you in understanding that those who live in the nearby cities would recieve the greatest displeasure to know that such things are going on. The labs would most likely be shut down, putting quite the damper on our research. While they could take the risk of allowing you to go to the citizens of the city on the chance that they would simply treat you as monsters, they would rather not bet on that ignorance. I could of course communicate to them your intentions of living away from society in peace, however I assure you that they would only proceed to ask me of your current location." The doctor turned on a pivot as he finished walking back to where he had stood. His eyes glanced over the group again, waiting for their responses, it didn't seem that they realized the repercussions of their powers in the outside world.

"It seems you've thought this through. What do you suppose we should do, then?" Strobe said through wheezing breath. Involuntary flames licked from his fingers as he slumped slightly. It seemed his wounds were much worse than originally thought.

Doctor K smiled behind the mask, a humored huff of breathe echoed from it. "Huh, I would suppose that you seek medical attention, it would be a pity to lose one of you so soon. As for the entirety of the group, it doesn't seem like you have many choices, escaping as you have you must have caused the executives some amount of frustration. If you returned you'd likely either be killed or returned to your regular scheduled activities whatever they might have been. While I doubt that you might survive to live your lives out here in the wilderness, running from the labs, it seems that may be your best choice. Or perhaps you would take your chances in society, in hopes that they would look past your anomalies. The choice is yours alone, though your fate may not be the same." Doctor K began on the same path that he had before, slowly approaching and circling the group in slow methodic pacing, still staring at them with his odd luminescent scarlet eyes. "So, you do realize, directly or not, if you choose to run, I will likely become a vicissitude to your cause." His pacing was strangely close, and his demeanor disturbingly calm as he expressed this inconvenient fact to the runaway experiments.

Kioko looked from Jackie to Strobe, he was really wounded. But she cant leave Jackie alone, she needed to be conforted. This was going to be tough. kioko outstretched her hands back to Strobe's wounds and began the healing process again, this time was much harder considering she could barely reach him. Dangit, if he could move closer, i can heal him a bit more.

There was no way for Strobe to notice that Kioko was trying to heal him. Her range was so strained that the energy was barely a tickle on his skin, a feeling which his state of pain overrode easily. Unfortunately for him, however, he slumped forward more, not backwards, and he slid completely out of range of the healing effects.

Kioko frowned. This was imposible, no way can she reach him now, not with Jackie still crying. She just hoped that he wouldn't collasp. if worse comes to worse, the seal was all she had left if she didnt want to collasp of energy drainage. "hey, jackie, how are you feeling?" she whispered.

((Must... Keep... Thread... From... DYING!...))
"I realize this, but what about helping us now?" Strobe said, his breath wheezy. "With resources like yours, you could take us into the city, and no one would be the wiser. What do you say doctor? Everyone deserves freedom, and I need a medic."

"Better..." She whispered back softly, not looking up at her. "But i'll be alright. It's Strobe you should be worrying about...not me...he's in physical stress at this moment, not me..." She said as she got up slowly and still a bit shakily. "Do you need any help Strobe?" She asked in a soft tone, staring up at him as she smirked lightly as well.

|I've been waiting for someone to keep posting. this cant die!!!|
Kioko nodded and got up following Jackie. She took out a vial of liquid goo and placed a little on Strobe's wounds before applying healing powers on it. It was enough to stop the pain and bloodflow, but the wound wouldnt close, she was to out of energy and her seal was hurting terribly. "Doc, there are times when people get sick and tired of being ordered, especially since they didnt want to be there in the first place. and Strobes going to collaspe anytime soon, im not professional." She added, finally speaking in.

((Until Doc. K posts, we're gonna have to post some fillers to keep this on the top page.))
Strobe looked up at the doctor with weary eyes, his vision foggy and strained. His wounds were serious, to the point where the pain was too distracting for much else to happen. This conversation was his limit, the very bottom of his wells of energy being scraped and focused on this one action. He had earlier considered burning any superficial wounds closed, but had been unable to summon forth any of his bodily plasma. He was in his final stretch.

"Strobe!" Jackie said, worryingly. She held onto him, keeping him up for support. She then looked back to Kioko with worried eyes, she didn't want him to die on her, not after all he has done to help her. She wouldn't allow it, never in a million years. "Strobe. Hold on. We'll get you some medical attention in the nearest town okay? Please...stay here...don't leave us..." She said softly, her eyes welling up with fresh tears as she bit her bottom lip in fear, not wanting to see Strobe in any more pain, as well as she didn't want him to die on her. No, never that.

((awe, im sorry, okay, fillers got it.)) Kioko nodded to Patrick and had a miniature conflict in her head. Use the seal, or not use the seal? she said to herself She hadnt used it for a while, probably the last time was when she was still a tracker. It gave her tremendous power to spare, but at the cost of inflicting physical pain to the body. Lately it had been acting up, but she tried to supress it with her healing abilities. She cant heal Strobe in her condition either, she was way to tired from her fight with Jackie and she didnt want Strobe to die. She'll see how Patrick helps with this before she decides. "thanks Patrick, im sure Strobe will appreciate it." She said smiling at the boy. Kioko took the other side of Strobe and helped Jackie support him.

"Hey, thanks, Pat..." Strobe said, his eyelids beginning to flutter closed.
