I liked last season but it felt rushed and disappointing. It felt like Avatar, but almost a watered down version of it.
I hope Bryke haven't lost their groove, but I'm a bit worried.

The first two eps were great though.

One thing that's bothered me about LoK is how they kind of took out the feng shui. Aaaand they don't seem to care about fillers anymore. Fillers are what made Avatar great; they were funny and memorable and helped develop the characters. I get that the fillers were to make them better benders, and Mako, Bolin and Korra are kinda already maxed out, but Mako and Bolin frankly feel like there's nothing to them but being Korra's side-kick. They have no ambition. I hope this season they can dedicate episodes to their development.

I agree. Hopefully, since the characters' bending are already well developed, they'll have more opportunity for filler episodes. I like how romance plays a bigger role in this series though, with everyone constantly hooking up or breaking up with each other. Honestly my favorite thing about this new season are the twins, and their odd relationship with Bolin. xd

I hope they'll discover something special about their bending too. Like Katara learned bloodbending (even though they milked the crap out of it in Korra, it's still really damn cool). Toph learned metalbending. There's still lots of room for improv; Combustion Man could shoot lasers from his brain, there's stuff like swampbending... etc. I wanna see some new stuff that makes them badass!

The romance in this show has been kinda weird, especially because of the whole 'Mako cheating' thing. I feel like it's permanently taken away from Mako's character, lol. I just think of him as a douchebag now.
Eska seems pretty cool. Dezna is creepy. I can already tell Jinora is going to become a member of the crew. I like her so far, so that's nice.

Personally I'm still waiting on the creators of Avatar to pick up on my bone-bending idea. C'mon guys, bones are made out of many of the same minerals that could be considered earth! I just want to see Bolin or some earth bender punch a guy and make his skeleton explode out of his body. But NOOOOOOO, that would be too "EXTREME" for nickelodeon. Pshh, ********' pussies. stare

And yeah, I don't really like Mako either. I guess he's supposed to be this series' version of Zuko, who was also a douchebag for a long part of the series, but...eh. We'll just see how it goes.

Me and Emma had some pretty legit ideas for advanced airbending; pressurebending, applying extreme force upon each blast of wind which can shatter bones and other nasty stuff. I honestly kind of like how Avatar is not so gory. It preserves the zen of it. If there were bodies and corpses flying everywhere, it'd kind of take away from the light-spirit of the show. It'd make the characters all seem like murderous lunatics, lol. Like imagine watching Sokka rip someone in half, covered in blood, and then make some cute joke. Just no.

Someone who knows Fist of the North Star, Finally.

Is it possible to use some alternate text or some shizz? That'd be cool.

~pokes her head in~ I just wanted to say hello and thank you for letting me in the Guild. This place looks like a lot of fun and I'm really excited to get my feet wet. Now if anyone could please tell me what this Guild is lacking in so I know what kind of character would be most useful. I would appreciate it kindly.

I don't think I can use alternative text, but a lot of people have different ways of formatting their usernames that can look pretty interesting. Like, it could be

XxFistOfTheBroStarxX
or
Xx_Fist_Of_The_Bro_Star_xX

or something to that effect.
