Kazelina looked back at the two young ones and the hat behind them. "Hey! Hurry up! You don't want to get left behind. Especially not in this world." She called out. With that said, she turned back around and led the group the rest of the way to Guardian Village. It wasn't that long before many of the Guardians stopped them. They were asked what their business was in the village as well as why so many strange faces were there. Kazelina answered honestly. They nodded and led her to see the elder. "Alright guys, just hang around here for a while. I'll talk with the elder and see what I can do." With that, she followed the men to the elder's house to convince them to join their cause.
Kaze sighed. "I see." He knew Josline well enough to know when she was hiding something, but he decided not to say anything. "Let's just check out this village a bit. They might have some interesting things here." He grabbed Josline's arm and started walking through the village with her.
(Sorry I haven't been replying at all. I really have no good excuse. I've just been extremely lazy here lately.)

(And I have no excuse for not replying either... just getting distracted I guess...)
Opal grabbed Vaati's hand and rushed after the others so they wouldn't be left behind. "I know, but still, I don't want you to end up in makeshift jail... if you can't say anything nice, please just... think it." Opal said, looking up at Vaati with begging eyes. She usually tolerated the fact that half of the people she met enjoyed her company, but Vaati always got the rough end of the stick. She didn't want that to happen here.
Josline blinked when Kaze grabbed her arm and started to almost drag her away from the group. "Whoa, whoa, slow down Speedy." She said, remembering the little mouse of her childhood. She had never known the full name until later, but she had always called him speedy. She pulled her arm out of his grip so she was holding his hand. She caught up so she was walking right next to him. She looked around the village in amazement. She had to admit, for a village that was just full of guardians. It was very beautiful.

"Opal, there isn't a cell that can hold a person who can warp." The red-eyed neko mumbled, rolling his eyes. He trailed behind Opal. The village looked peaceful, but as far as he was concerned, it was annoyingly peaceful. It just reminded him of the peace at Hyrule, and he wasn't exactly fond of something that was boring. Something close to mischief flickered in his eyes.
"Are you tired already? It's not that late out, Ariel." Seth mumbled with a small chuckle as he sunk into her shadow. Maybe she was getting ready to meet the Deku Tree? "Ariel, the Deku Tree would let me in, right? If they're like you, I doubt they'll like seeing me around.

Kaze walked around with Josline for a bit. "I wonder why this village is called 'Guardian Village'? What, is the entire village itself guarding something?" He thought aloud. However, he didn't know just how much of that statement was correct. Either way, he thought the place was rather nice too. It didn't have any kind of flowers, or even any grass in the village itself. But instead, it looked kind of like a canyon, except the fact that there weren't an mountains. The ground was orange and rock hard, but if one were to take about a half mile long hike behind the village, that person would find a small, but lush field. Then, even further than that, would be an ominous cave. However, no one was allowed to get in behind the village without permission from the elder. "Anyway, I'm glad you like this place. It is, apparently, my home world." He chuckled a little and smiled.

"Why wouldn't I like it? It's a new place, and I've been Hyrule for so long I've seen almost everything there is to see there. I like a fresh start in what I see... Salin is nice, even when ruled by an Overlord... I be it would be even more gorgeous when he's out of leadership." Josline said, seeing a large cave. Didn't she hear from the citizens from Dagnus that it was called the cave of death? What kind of name is that for a cave... unless those who entered it collapsed into death, it was an exaggeration in her opinion. Other than the strange cave, it was still a beautiful village.
"And then you'd be on the run... again." Opal stated after he made that comment. Remembering when he had murdered that man... and was taking to that jail. He had managed to break out of it... but still, he was a wanted man in Hyrule. She didn't want him to have to feel that way in Salin. Still, Vaati seemed to attract trouble no matter what she did.

(Hehehe... Exaggerated... Funny... -grins-)
Kaze nodded. "Yeah." He tugged Josline gently, moving over toward a wall to sit down against. "Though, I wonder how we'll get back to Hyrule. I assume those Arelians would send us back like they sent my sister there." He sat down and pulled her down to sit in his lap. "What do you think?" He asked.

Vaati's eyes narrowed. "They would have looked for me if they really wanted me. In this case, they just won't want me back in their lame village." He mumbled. Suddenly, the bird on his head pecked him. Vaati nearly cursed, but he fought back the urge to think of something... less vulgar. "You old geezer! What the heck was that for?"
"Keep your voice down, Vaati, or you'll offend someone. Try not to ruin this mission for everyone else, alright?" Ezlo huffed. He disliked being reminded that he his youthful days were long passed him, and it didn't help that Vaati enjoyed rubbing it in his face.

(What did I spell it wrong? D: Exaggeration... no I spelt it right... what so funny?)
Josline leaned against his chest when he pulled her into his lap. She took his hand and interlocked their fingers together. "We'll figure something out... for now, don't worry about it." She said, looking up at Kaze with a soft smile. It was true, with this whole prophecy being unloaded onto Kaze out of the blue, she was sure that Kaze should have a lot more things on his mind rather than, 'How to get home.' He was right, however, as much as she liked Salin, she felt more at home in Hyrule. She spent so much of her life there... she felt like Hyrule was her home. She continued to rest her head against his chest at the thought, how long were they going to spend in Salin, trying to fulfill the prophecy... it could be months... maybe even years.
Opal tried her hardest not to giggle when Ezlo pecked Vaati about his language. He was always acting like an old teacher, like always. Although sometimes she didn't like it when Ezlo was rough on Vaati, she sometimes believed it was necessary. She looked around the village as the guardians allowed them to wander around freely. She took Vaati's hand, "C'mon let's have a look around, looks like Kaze and Josline went off to do their own thing... so let's explore a bit." Opal said. She just wanted Vaati to be happy.

(No, you didn't spell it wrong... I just thought it was funny that Josline thinks the Cave of Death is an exaggerration...)
Kaze kissed Josline's cheek. "I'm not. I'm just curious about it." He replied. He sighed and looked up at the sky. "Though, I do wonder how all of this is going to play out, as well. The way my sister put it, it sounded quite simple, but... I just can't help thinking that there is something a little deeper than a cruel overlord." He explained. Kaze shrugged his shoulders and looked toward the elder's tent. Kazelina should be finishing her talk soon. But, then again, he didn't really know anything about his sister, other than the fact that she was rather out going.

(She just think the name is. It's not like she's gone in there before, but that's just what she thinks. Figure 9 is not the brightest girl on the planet >.<)
Josline snapped out of her thoughts when Kaze kissed her on the cheek. She glanced up at him, "That good, I always thought you were serious." She joked, nudging his nose with hers. She noticed him looking over at the chiefs tent and wondered if Kazelina could really get the guardians on her side. Then again, there was a lot of things she doubted with this plan.

Vaati's stared at the hand, his face indifferent. He was there, but it was obvious that his mind just went went somewhere else. "Then lead the way." Vaati mumbled quietly. He wasn't quite in the mood to explore, especially since his mission was beginning to creep forth from the back of his mind. He glanced at the hat, who was glancing back at him. He was beginning to wonder if the two were suspecting him of something already.

Ariel shook her head in response to the tired question, a slight giggle escaping her lips. Seth's next questions somewhat surprised her. Did he think she didn't like him? 'If they're like me, he doubts they'll like seeing him around?' What was that supposed to mean?' The blonde shook her head and bit her tongue, a small smile on her face. She spoke without hesitating, "Why wouldn't they like you? Sure, you're not someone who'd be in the forest very often but they're nice people. The Deku Tree would let you in, no worries. Since I grew up there, there's even more of an exception, I'm sure." she hung her head slightly, looking down at her dangling feet. She wondered why the last comment made her heart feel like it'd sank a little inside? The blonde stood up, shaking her head once more as she scratched her cheek. She gave a few light giggles though there wasn't really a meaning behind it. "Do you really like being in my shadow that much?" she asked, her attempt to keep her voice calm was failing quite miserably. This girl - this blonde that looked almost like a porcelain doll - kept a barrier, almost a wall to keep her feelings to herself; the only flaw with that wall was that there were cracks in it, everywhere. She'd always pushed others away, staying by herself nearly every day. But then, here she finds this guy at Lake Hylia, her first day out of the forest and he'd seen right through her wall and she'd kindly let him in. That was the thing. On the outside, she made a hard stone wall to keep from getting hurt when on the inside, she was made of fragile glass that could shatter quite easily. It'd always been that way, ever since her parents had died; it'd been that way since she was a child. There's nothing that could change that, it was how she was. Actually, it was how her mother was, just not as fragile on the inside. Not made of a thin glass, but her mother had been made of diamonds; one of the hardest stones to shatter. Beautiful but stubborn. ((I'm sorry for the book, Dioji! Seriously, sorry! D'x I hadn't even realized that I'd written all of this until I was done. >.<; ))

Opal looked over at Vaati, seeing that his mind was somewhere else, as well as the fact that Ezlo was starting straight down at him. She sighed, letting go of his hand, "That's it... I give up..." She said, turning to walk off. What was the point if all she did was make Vaati unhappy. Maybe Vaati was better off without Opal, all she did was cause him trouble. Force him to do things that made him uncomfortable.

Seth ripped himself out his shadow and sat down on his own bed. Had he done something? She didn't seem so upset a few minutes ago. "Ariel, I'm sorry if I said something. I only have a few people I'm proud to call my friends, and you're one of the few. Being in the light, being away from my own time and being away from my other friends is outside my comfort zone right now, and it's only going to get worse being one of the two adults in a village full of children! It doesn't matter if they're nice, it's going to be awkward for them to meet a half shadow adult! No one can see me in your shadow, and it makes me feel a little better about myself as long as I can't find a way back home." Seth explained and threw a pillow onto his face. "I'm sorry, alright?"
Vaati hissed, grabbed her by the shirt and yanked her back. "Why do you bother with me, Opal? I'm nothing but a weak coward who can't even stand on his own two freaking feet." He mumbled, throwing Ezlo into his hands. Then he pushed her away. "It's alright, Opal, give up. I bet you'll find someone better for you." Vaati smirked, his red eyes narrowing in anger, though it wasn't anger at Opal. He was angry that we walked into a trap he couldn't get out because he was too scared to die again. At least if he was alone, he could easily offend these people. He starting walking towards the last place he saw Kazelina head off to. Maybe if he asked around, he could find the elder's house.

"Because I loved you!" Opal shouted as after she fell to the ground, "I wanted to give my world up for you..." She felt tears slide down her face, she stood back up, feeling herself wince as her cut knees bent under the weight. She held Ezlo in her arms as she darted off. She was found again, sitting down in front of a small hut, tears trickling from her face as she hid them in her arms, her long curly blonde hair clinging to her arms as rain started to pour down. Blood that had fallen from her knees was washed away by the fresh rain, as the demi-goddess of wind cried.
