xhel was caught in a bloodlust like she never felt before, probably from the rush of turning kat recently.
she lunged at the mortal, tilted his head to the side and bit down hard, not letting him get away. she consumed the blood from the body swiftly, causing him to go limp in her arms.

he felt her fangs sink into his neckhe struggled to get free of her but he went limp and stopped struggling

xhel dropped the man, she backed away with a look of horror on her face. she never wanted to take this man....all he had done was try to help. she knew that he had some consiousness left so she spoke.
"as it stands you have two choices. die today...or live forever as a nightwalker. which will you choose?" she asked.

"so be it then..." she said as she unwrapped her wound on her own wrist. the blood flowed freely without the bandages blocking it.
she pressed her wrist to his mouth.
"drink....let it begin"

he drank her blood for a couple minutes and passed out from all the blood he had lost

xhel pulled back, tired from her own blood loss as well but still strong enough.
she lifted the man off the ground and walked off towards the warehouse.
"i...im sorry athena....im sorry i couldn't help you..." she thought to he as she left.

xhel ran into the park to see athena laying on the grond, the vortex still there but not sucking in. she decided to sit back just in case as she watched athena.
