Today we went to the Great Wall and the Ming Dynasty Emperor's Palace. We also had lunch at another nice restaurant in a VIP room. Unfortunately, this VIP room did not have a private bathroom. In the end, I had to use a pit. Fortunately, it was cleaner than most pits. Unfortunately, it was obvious that some foreigners who did not know how to use a pit used it recently, for urine was sprayed all over the floor.
I got a nice souvenir at the Great Wall, though. It's a fake-gold plated medal that has a picture of the Great Wall on one side and a picture of a dog (because I'm born in the year of the dog) on the other side, and on the Great Wall side, the seller engraved my name and the date of my climbing of the Great Wall into the plating. Unfortunately, fake gold tarnishes easily, so I wrapped the medal in tissues. xd It was only about $1.30.
And also, here all of the sugared food products are made with real sugar. Back in the United States, high fructose corn syrup is used because of sugar taxes and the corn farmers. But everywhere else, real sugar is used. That's why I liked the Sprite I bought today. 3nodding
