At that, Lily couldn't help but give Arlen a soft kiss, then turned her attention back to Guan. "Who... who is after Arlen, if I may ask?"

"That is a difficult question to answer," Guan said quietly. "The wizard who is the one seeking Arlen has never left his base in the past fifty years. The base itself could be anywhere for all we know. He operates through his servants. I am not sure how many of them there are, but there are at least three who he trusts enough to divulge the location of his base to. And each of those three has various talents and abilities, and, from what is known, near unlimited resources with which to hire more minions, etc. The only good news is that Arlen is not the only person who the wizard is interested in, so there's a good chance he's not beeing actively pursued right now."

Lily bit her lip, rather frightened for her boyfriend now. Hoping Guan and Arlen wouldn't mind, she crawled into his lap, pressing her cheek to his heart. "Even the good news isn't so good." she whispered, closing her eyes. "I don't like this, love..."

Arlen welcomed the familiar presence in his lap and held Lily closely. "I don't like it either, but we have to live with it. If dealing with Xaldin is the price for beeing with you, then I'd gladly pay it one thousand times over."
Guan smiled at the couple, and then stood. "Well it's time for an old man to get some rest so you two lovebirds get out. Go cuddle on that couch you're so fond of."

"I know... and I return the feeling." Lily whispered, hugging Arlen tightly. Then she grinned over at Guan, laughing. "Alright old man. Arlen... if you're not too tired, would you carry me?" she asked meekly, not wanting to leave his arms quite yet.

Ukaai blinked startled as she and Bai suddenly appered inside the muffin. she rubbed her eyes a little bit and stood up wandering towards the bar muttering a bit under her breath.
She wanted more liquor to drink...

"I'm never too tired to carry you," Arlen said, standing up while keeping her in his arms. "Good night Master Guan," he said, carrying her out of the room and downstairs.
"Good night you two," Guan replied before shutting the door behind them and getting ready for bed.

"Goodnight." Lily called to Guan, then put her head on Arlen's shoulders, smiling. That faded however when they got to the main room and she saw Ukaia. "U-uka." she greeted carefully, arms tightening around Arlen. She wasn't sure of the woman anymore, especially when the man was around as well.

Ukaia looked at her then simply poured herself a cup of the first alchol she'd gottne her hand on. she took a nice long drink then cuoghed
"hi lily.. arlen.. " she sai quietly to them both. SHe loved arlen.. a lot. why.. she shoudn't but.. it wasn't fair if she loved him then.. mabye.. she and lily should talk more. She pouredanother cup and rubbed her eyes sleeply coughign slightly

"Hi Ukaia," Arlen said cheerfully, and then regretting it a bit as he felt the tension between her and Lily. Not saying anymore, he sat down on the couch and settled Lily into his lap.

She took another long drink coughing at the strong alchol. She grimiced a bit as she drank it
"Ugh.. strong.. " she said hiccuping

Lily pushed away any sense of hurt and anger away as much as she could, then took a deep breath. "Uka... are you sure you should be drinking? You... you're sick and all. M-maybe you should just go to bed and rest..." she told her, then snuggled a little closer to Arlen, looking up at him a moment.

Arlen smiled back down at Lily, and glanced worried over at Ukaia, remembering the last time she drank. "Ukaia, you probably shouldn't drink anymore," he said softly, unsure of where he stood with her.

Ukaia's ears flattened a little bit and she finished off that glass of alchol. she sulked
"I can drink if i wanna..." she mumbled Then she hiccupled again rubbing her eyes a bit again hiccuping again
