For any who care, I'm doing a two-parter on my second, non-gaming personal blog about my suicide attempt. I posted the first part, which is explaining why I did it. The second part will detail the actual attempt and the events following.

Foam-Dome Whoa, what a bitchy English teacher. I don't think I'd be able to stomach her without backsassing her every time she made a snide comment. You don't question professors. They may eat you. Then spit on your half eaten corpse. You have the Cannibals, the Strict/Bitchy but still a good teacher, the "Oh god I love this teacher!", and the "....How are you teaching this class?"

You have the Cannibals, the Strict/Bitchy but still a good teacher, the "Oh god I love this teacher!", and the "....How are you teaching this class?"
I always get the "Well, the teacher's no help, but at least the textbook is good" kind. Except in Multivariable Calc, I had a shitty teacher and no textbook, so I ended up with a C+, which is the worst grade I've gotten like... ever.
I do hate that feeling of "Everyone else knows what they're doing and I'm just clueless," though. Like last week when my junior seminar teacher told us to meet on the third floor of the library and then no one was there. I finally asked the librarian who said "Oh, you're in that class? It's been moved to the fifth floor." Yeah, thanks a lot for the warning -_-

Ugh, men. When we went out for our anniversary lunch my boyfriend told me he didn't have much money so we could only have specific things in specific places. This was on Sunday, and he got paid on Friday. Since then he's bought take out pizza and been out for dinner again with his friends. Because that clearly means he has like no money. I'm only really annoyed because his excuse was, oh I have no money. If he'd just said he didn't want to spend much I wouldn't have bothered even going out for lunch. Honestly wtf was the point.

Hmm...everyone is always seeking happiness...and while happiness for others is a fine thing...if I think of myself, I'd rather not have the same kind. Its raw...painful maybe. >.> ...hmm, a confusing notion.

Another question from the confused ancient one: I believe I understand and endorse the concept of the Secrets thread, but how exactly does it work? I see white-outed posts, and don't understand how I am supposed to post and respond to posts here. gonk

I see white-outed posts, and don't understand how I am supposed to post and respond to posts here. gonk XD Just about all of the posts in this thread can be read and responded to, but people often hide or otherwise obfuscate the text because the secrets they post might be embarrassing for them or uncomfortable for others to read.

My local newspaper may run my To The Editor about Rare Disease Day. For my Medical Terminology class, I'm doing my research paper on Scleroderma. For my Speech class, I'm doing my informational speech on Scleroderma. I'm signing up to go to the National Scleroderma Conference in Texas this summer. Hopefully gonna start going to the local Support groups, I may not need it but when I met the woman who runs it she seemed to really want me to go. She even asked for me to speak at the next year's Walk for a Cure. And the Walk is in May, I'm may ask my friends to come this year. And once I figure out who to put as a reference, I'm volunteering to be a counselor at my old summer camp for kids with skin conditions.
My urge to save the world is really kicking in right now.

Having shadowed one of the Staff Nurses at the hospital yesterday during my volunteering yesterday I'm beginning to better understand the work they do under difficult circumstances. Not to mention how they are absolutely weighed down with RIDICULOUS amounts of paperwork! I saw the doctors room and its just full of it as well!

After I went to the bank today, I came back to Roommate #1 (asian) showing Roommate #2 (caucasian) some youtube videos of asian youtubers (wong fu, nigahiga, justin chon, fung brothers, etc) At 1:48 of this, Roommate #2 turns to me and asks "so, were you named after a car company?"
